It feels like I'm repeating myself, bringing up lightning in every other post, but I think this is worth sharing.
This last month has been my best routing month ever since I set up this node, a bit more than 2 years ago.
I've made about 500k sats in profit this month, or about 1% APY. Looking back, I'm at about 0.25% APY since I started.
If I can keep this pace up, it might actually be worth it running a routing node, more than just a hobby.

a little over a year ago we were hoping for page parity... how quickly things change
Remember when parity with an ounce of gold was a thing?
I remember chuckling about the pipe dream that someday there would be sat<=>penny parity.
We are about 1 10x away from that..

Even if I still feel afraid at times, when I think rationally - as I assume Putin too is doing, I come to the same conclusion.
A nuclear war started by Russia would have a predictable outcome: obliterate most of humanity, or a very good part of it anyway, and end Putin forever. I doubt even his personal militia would stay loyal to the czar in that kind of situation. The plebs would go absolutely batshit. You don't want to deal with batshit crazy Russians, even if you're their president-for-life.

No, no, no. The atomic revenge speech was spread by Peskow, Medvedew and the other Kremlin muppets. As they escalated to the nuclear-attack-on-NATO narrative, Putin stepped in and asked them if they are crazy, and that Russia would not be so stupid to actually attack NATO Troops. Maybe it was a fake though, Audio was Russian and subtitles may have been made up to tell a different story.
Putin knows a Attack against NATO troops/countries would mean self destruction. Only China would have the arms and balls (or stupidity) to carry out such a strike. IF Russia would self-destroy through said attack, China may take advantage in turn, as Russia would easily be occupied and Europe/NATO would be weakened in defense. Putin wouldn't want that as well.

Their navy, for example, is a joke considering the size of the country and its population.It's also doubtful that Xi/China would really want to take Europe. I think they have more important problems to solve in their own regards, so they don't need additional ones.
