did the ETH devs say they would allow it to scale?

Currently, it scales much worse than Bitcoin (no big wonder, with full-blown Turing-complete language on blockchain). Half-year into existence, its blockchain already approaching 10GB and growing fast. There is some vague handwaving about future "sharding" and whatnot, but realistically, its chain will be much bigger than Bitcoin's, and it'll happen pretty soon. Interesting to see how they'll cope with their own scaling crisis.

Is this accurate? F2Pool.com backing out of consensus roundtable agreement?

i don't understand how Adam Back trying to distance himself away from Blockstream cheats F2Pool, or as any bearing on the consensus.

and that users trust rating says  https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust;u=16114
Tried to extort Discus Fish (F2Pool) for 2 BTC (via DDoS attack).
correction that ^  was a sent Feedback.

no idea but doesn't seem very legit.

hmmm is F2Pool speaking for all its clients when it says that.

The amount of ETHs scales...and scales...and scales...with no limit.

I was under the impression that that had changed. I think it was going to be unlimited once upon a time but now it'll be a much lower inflation rate once a certain amount has been reached. The faffing around isn't much of a turn on.

so i was thinking

we could have a second layer that is not centralized, but not as distributed as bitcoin.

we'd have censorship resistance and all that good stuff from decentralized systems, BUT the thing is we'd expect nodes to be sitting behind a fairly good home connection like the connection i have here 1GBbps.

a sorta of decentralized change tip sidechain.

not as secure as bitcion, but i believe we can get pretty fucking close, and besides thats the tradeoff of using bitcoin's "second layer", if yu want ultra secure payment, you push it to the first layer blockchain.

There are these excellent recipes you can get for free, about all sorts of delicious things you can cook with your Foreman Grill.
The thing about it ...you really don't need a George Foreman Grill to cook them.
Makes George Foreman Grills seem like a smart buy tho, and the people who bought them get to feel a little less disappointed & stupid.
Get my drift?

An early good morning Bitcoinland.

Despite waking up early, I see last night's buying opportunity has already vanished, just as I feared it would.

Oh well, next time. For now, go Bitcoin go.

you should try selling some everyonce in a while and buy back lower if your not going to pump more $$ into it, this is a satisficing alternative.

its easy
you wait for me to be all like

billyjoeallen still bearish? Close your shorts already. Don't be greedy. You will not get a better price anytime soon.

Cheap coins right now. We've had a pretty big correction or dump whichever you like to call it. No sign of sub 400 again though so if you're considering buying then don't.....just do it.

Buy now or cry later.

i'm good for crying.. thanks for advice though .

Wow 2 nights in a row. Just got home from the bar to see I missed the action again.

Maybe it'll still be low enough in the morning to buy the dip.

really ?? 400's is time to buy Huh

Unless we break the 400 floor again Smiley

And don't go by "not possible" or "we'll never see under 400 again"
Cause only a few weeks ago in January people were saying exactly that!
Result: we easily reached the 360 ^^

Self-Custody is a right. Say no to"Non-custodial"
The price has been falling since this week. Is it time to sell now?
I was waiting for another pump but it seem I will not see any upward trend this week or te next one. I immediately regret not selling at $450  Sad

Let's see what the status of the apparatus is:

Mining is concentrated in a country known to nationalize businesses, be hostile towards Bitcoin and to manipulate currency.

Blocks are full and getting more fullerer.

Core is divided on scaling solutions, but won't do anything without near unanimity.

Etherium is threatening to overtake our firstmover advantage.

MtGox bankruptcy coins are going on the auction block probably in a few months.

Classic growth seems to have slowed or stopped.

So of course the market is going up.  Makes sense.

if scaling issue is not resolved soon this price might crash again. i notice the blocks have been 97% 98% full most of the day as i read through this.  what to do:

1. sell now in anticipation to buy back lower

2. HODL until fix is in and rebound to moon

3. wait.. HODL till breaks 300 then panic dump and then panic buy higher on the bull trap and then panic dump again .

go for it.

changetip scales.
