I don't know what is LHC talk or what it has to do with this thread.

No reason iphone cant get cheaper every year, they updated and improved it but not enough to increase the price like they have. Prices do fall in a proper currency, technology is certainly deflationary due to its rate of growth but we dont have that scenario we got a trash currency and everything goes up. Kudos for holding onto the old iphone, seems wrong to throw away working tech especially when some of the people involved in production had limited freedom available. One bright spot is new sources for cobalt and also alternatives in battery tech should be a big deal.
Hedonics is an interesting play by government to allocate improvement as a counter to price inflation, justifying and adjusting the real figures. You arent poorer, you just need to work more hours to buy the same things

Basically what I thought was happening though its pretty slow, even while price varys the underlying baseline growth for BTC is good. Ideally every country reaches a point where the majority own or have owned BTC and we keep seeing that basic involvement improve.
Highs of yesterday and today are the price we need to beat to really stay positive near term. It was also the low for most of last month etc.

I still use my iPhone 4S every day. I've had to change the battery twice and most of the apps complain they require an update but on attempting an update, I'm informed that my current version of iOS needs to be upgraded which of course is impossible since Apple doesn't support their hardware beyond whatever arbitrary date they decide it has become obsolete. The browser works but many sites no longer display properly; HackerNews still shows up fine though. Candy Crush finally died a couple of months back and it will only prompt me to update now which I cannot do so while tptb are trying their damnedest, I am not deterred. I just switched to Bejeweled for entertainment. Mostly I use it to listen to my buddy George Noory on talk radio when I can't sleep - fortunately, the TuneIn Radio app still works fine and without ads. Okay, it's not perfect but it's good enough.

Oh snap, he’s back!
Just as things start getting exciting… The market is ripping pretty hard off that $52K bottom. A huge amount of retail shorts have been liquidated in recent days. That’s a pretty good sign. We also appear to have put in a higher low at $52K than the previous $49K. Looks like potentially the first time in 6 months if it holds.
