Seems like we’re having a bit of a breather, probably a good thing. We don’t want to rally too hard, too soon so it becomes unsustainable and we see a weak blow off top.

Slow and steady wins the race, I didn’t think we’d smash through $100,000 on the first attempt. It’ll come soon, possibly even before New Year.

Man who stares at charts (and stars, too...)
just keeping life in the WO

yup.

and we have a fine variety of contrasting, sometimes interesting, sometimes technical, sometimes just.. odd and sometimes "this user is currently ignored types," and many other curious choices and discussions.

but especially the memes, the best memes bar none are here

i would be honored to share drinks and stories with some of you, and would cross the street to avoid others.

wouldn't have it any other way.

Word!
Stories are our lives. If one has no stories to tell, he probably has got no life as well.

Holy shit, is Gensler on his way out? Has he been told to pack his bags? I sure hope so.

https://www.cnbc.com/2024/11/14/gary-gensler-reviews-accomplishments-was-proud-to-serve-as-sec-chair.html

That guy was so two-faced: supposedly such a proponent of Bitcoin ("not a security"), and yet did every obstructionist thing he could do to get in the way of its adoption and the ETFs. Obviously he was being paid by someone to slow it down. And he harassed brokers and exchanges with bullshit lawsuits and fines while never clearly defining the rules.

What a tool, good riddance.

You're never too old to think young.
When Bitcoin is on a parabolic rally this place is hopping, multiple pages per hour, old-timers coming out of the woodwork.

It slows down a bit and this place is almost dead.

Nice image. What program did you use to create it?

Oh, I see. You just copied it from some other website without giving credit.

Good morning Bitcoinland.

Another day another ATH.

If I keep giving Vroom a merit for every new chopper, I'll reach the 50 merit limit pretty soon, unless he posts every $5000 instead of every $1000.

Go Bitcoin go.

lets hope I can take over and my 30 days are over by then

My hope is that JimboTO reaches the 50 merit limit despite Vroom changing the posting frequency to every $5k.

After 11 years of holding, I took a bit of profits yesterday (1% of my holdings) at 88.5k. The last cycle gave me PTSD. I have 100% of my eggs in one basket and thought its a good idea to invest a bit into other things, just in case we get betrayed by Blackrock, Trump and all the people who hated Bitcoin not a long time ago. It´s really hard to take profits and then see Bitcoin pumping. But after 11 years I feel its time. The plan is to take 1% of profits every 10k pump. Until I sold 10% of my BTC. Next level would be $99k. Actually the plan was to start at 59k but I didnt do it. Seeing the 1 million predictions, I feel like its mania phase already lol...

Only wrote this to see what others think and do...

1% was too small

do another 1%

if you held since 2013. at worst 1300 became 88000

if you have 1 btc and shaved 1%. you get 880. that is less than the original 1300

if you do 2% total and everything ends you took out about 1800 which is more than the 1300

all based on 1 btc

if you hold for 11 years you can scale up to what you really have.
