Lol Toronto and Miami university researchers  think otherwise
https://www.afr.com/markets/currencies/crypto-owners-are-more-likely-to-have-psychopathic-traits-study-says-20240902-p5k73c.

This here proves their research flawed

Either it's a scam or they just been naive which I highly doubt.

It's now obvious that Boeing doesn't actually produce things that fly (seems only to be a collateral effect when their products do so for limited amount of time), but rather are producing the famous machines that go ping:

DEVELOPING! Strange Sounds Coming From Boeing Starliner

When things ONLY exist because of money, things appear to turn to shit.

Companies, governments, people.

The new CEO I believe IS trying to turn Boeing around again.

But if it isn't for Musk, I'm not sure how these astronauts are going to come home.
Major embarrassment.

It isn’t like it’s a difficult fix. All they have to do is stop their DEI hiring practices. Unfortunately, they’ve been prioritizing equity and inclusiveness over safety. We’re seeing the short term results of this. It’s only been a couple years. If this DEI nonsense isn’t stopped ASAP we will be living in Idiocracy by the end of the decade.

Is it really DEI or is it profits over safety?

I am more inclined to think it is POS

thats right fucking POS strikes 🪧 again.

Not only does POS damage bitcoin it damages planes ✈️.

I think the west (its leaders and lame stream media in particular) are pre-occupied with optics.
They dictate what is acceptable and what you should be thinking through those optics.
Thus I reckon the people who control those optics definitely don't think that those two things (DEI and POS) are mutually exclusive.

In fact many seem to think to achieve more profits they need DEI (see Disney and its utter claptrap garbage entertainment it has been spewing out).

Some have suggested DEI and ESG have been incorporated in companies to satisfy big daddy BlackRock as it is a shareholder of everything.

In the cinema here in the UK we often see a Virgin Airlines advert with a gay steward with pink eyelids, a bunch of minorities farting around, 1 white guy who is a skinhead clown entertainer and
of course a female captain. Some weird song about "I am who I am" playing on top of it. That's how they roll now.

I'd rather have airline staff that are commanding planes and their safety, because they are the best at those jobs.
They can be white, brown green, purple or a blue Smurf for all I care.
By focusing on the opposites of what you are used to, they are clearly trying to draw your attention to what they are (female / gay / minority) rather than what they can do.
Again... all for optics.

I don't give a shit about DEI but if you force DEI and abandon safety for the sake of DEI I care bigly.

I am a 67 year old white guy ex military. Do I look like and with my Brooklyn accent sound like I don't like DEI. I simply do not care about it at all if you are getting could workers who cares what they are.

But they still need to be able to do good work.

We're psychos now?  Come on!  Everyone else has gone far beyond the ridicule stage; most are somewhere between the attack and burn stages and the erecting monuments stage.  Anyway, there's only one bitcoinPsycho and we all know it.

Surprisingly, Nouriel Roubini has been pretty quiet of late... I'm wondering if he's maybe considering adding bitcoin to his new ETF?

Huh... Can any of you guys think of a way we could possibly protect against the debasement of a fiat currency?  I'm totally stumped.

"Paul Krugman Startled By Massive Crypto Spending In Current Election Cycle, Questions Industry's Worth: 'Destroys Value Rather Than Creates It'

Nobel laureate and esteemed economist Paul Krugman has voiced his concern over the substantial political expenditure by the cryptocurrency industry in the ongoing election cycle.   What Happened: In an opinion piece for the New York Times, Krugman drew attention to the disproportionate influence of the industry on campaign finance, despite presenting no “significant use cases” as yet.  “The gigantic political spending and influence of an industry that, if anything, destroys value rather than creates it (especially if you consider its environmental effects) is startling,” Krugman stated.  Indeed, corporations linked to cryptocurrencies have poured an unprecedented $119 million to the 2024 presidential election, making up nearly half of the total corporate spending. Major companies like Coinbase and Ripple have channeled most of these funds into super political action committees (PAC) that promote pro-cryptocurrency candidates.
The 2008 Nobel Economics Prize winner admitted it’s natural for industries to donate money to influence policies in their favor. Cryptocurrency, however, shouldn’t be thought of as a “real” industry, he argued...
