Wow who’s this guy Nouriel Roubini?

Correctamundo! Bitcoin is not Crypto

The r/CryptoCurrency on Reddit appeared around the same time as FTX and Binance, pushing every shitcoin
known to mankind.

A horde of shitcoiners started to flood this tread... pumping the same fucked up scam messages alongside
their cohorts on MSM.

SELL OR BUY

Buy whenever possible, regardless of the price.

Sell only when you absolutely must, regardless of the price.

I am following this advice since several years and it served me very well so far. (TBH honest you and Bob beeing happy about buying something nice from BTC at non-optimal prices serve as kind of model for me.)
I am generally happy with how things worked out for me, though I wonder if there is any advice on what alcoholic beverage is suitable to flush down the pain and misery felt from having to sell at 16k to pay bills?

Recently I started to consider switching from prosecco and wine to shoving ethanol soaked tampons up my rear cavity to numb that voice in my head telling me that the BTC I just sold could be hundreds of thousands in a few years..

Breeze Grayway

I'm digging my switch to the second shift
No traffic tailgaters anymore
Let my ride fly on auto drive,
Set the cruise for seventy four
Many nights behind the distant lights
I hope it's not the man in blue
Cause I'm thinking up a song and it won't be long
Before I get back home at two
But I think they're going faster than me
Just one more exit to go and I'm home free

Sleeping in is fine, but that might be a sign
Responsibilities are not for me
Well that's ok, the cats like it that way
When I get up twenty times to pee
My friends are downtown, and I'm never around
Because I hate driving that car.
I'm just at large, in a new garage,
Hanging at the Breeze Grayway bar

And I call all my shots and watch them go awry
I don't really care because it’s all just a one way ride
I think they're going faster than me
Catching up at seventy three
Just one more exit to go and I'm home free, oh yeah..

...oh what the....Breeze Grayway BAR
oh no, I think he's going faster than me!
oh well I'll just take another....have another beer please
Is he catching up at seventy three? I don't know...
Oh here comes my exit anyway.....

And I call all my shots and watch them go awry
I don't really care because I'm already in overtime.
I think they're going faster than me
They'll catch me at seventy three
But one more exit to go and I'm home free

And I dig my gig on the second shift
Never deal with the jerks anymore
Commuting home again at one thirty AM
My feral friends will greet me at the door
Behind distant lights, in the lonely night
Could it be the man in blue?
I hope he doesn’t mind, that I don’t take my time
Cuz I wanna be home by two
But I think they're going faster than me
They'll catch me at seventy three
But one more exit to go and I'm home free....
Where I'll be at large, in a new garage,
The Breeze Grayway checking the view.
Yeah, I'll be at large, in a new garage,
The Breeze Grayway having a few
Maybe a star, fun strumming guitar
At Breeze Grayway starting at two..... you're due
Breeze Grayway having a few...

My heart dropped when, after a few glasses of wine, I saw that I had a few too many pages of WO to catchup on before bed time.

But many thanks to one poster for making my task a little easier. Thanks for letting me have an earlier night. Sleep well sweetheart xxx

I shall be dreaming of helicopters.

WoW!

Is this a new feature? Like dumb spammers will be ignored automatically?
Because I see the same as you, but I cannot remember if I've ever ignored this guy. If I did, I could not remember why.

Self-Custody is a right. Say no to"Non-custodial"
Isn't Hal frozen?  so there's a chance...

I doubt that there is much of a chance... so why waste our brainpower even fantasizing like that?

well do we top 17k or what?

Why?  Because you are talking your book?

Why do "we" need to top?

You have heard of squeezes?

Squeezes go both ways.

One thing that it is truly and honestly being prepared for either direction, is that you find absolutely no need (or at least a pretty damned low level of bias) to either talk your book or to have your BTC price direction prediction come true.

I don't know.

There seems to be a decently sized difference between completely losing your Bitcoin, and merely having them go down in value by 20%, 50% or 75% (depending on your measuring point), and it seems quite likely that the going down in value is going to be temporary.. but losing 100% is permanent (to the extent that any of these guys were trying to get exposure to bitcoin rather than to some shitcoin, too. .so there is that angle as well).. and maybe even some folks lost more than 100% if they ended up employing leveraging and losing in that direction too.

Also, let's say that someone had spent 20-40 years building their wealth and they had built up $2million to $6million that they held in bitcoin.  Even if they were able to hold onto 20%, they may never be able to recover back to where they were because their wealth building had taken so long to accumulate.

Another thing with bitcoin would be accumulating the BTC in the past 3-10 years, so if a lot of coins may well have been accumulated in the triple digits or even a lot of coins in the 4 digits, those coins also might be quite difficult to re-accumulate - depending on a person's age.. and sure if someone is in their 20s, they may well have opportunities to recover, but it they are in their 40s, 50s or older, they might have quite difficult times building back their wealthy - even if they might have learned about bitcoin being a superior way to store and build wealth... So even having knowledge of bitcoin, knowing how to accumulate it, they may well have ended up putting themselves into a position in which they are NOT very able to rebuild that wealth.

Some folks have surely been preaching about the virtues of wealth preservation, and we might be seeing some pretty strong lessons that could be learned for people who lost value and for some of us who feel that we have been being able to continue to preserve quite a bit of value (so far... knock on wood)...

Now the money is free, and so the people will be
yeah they really need to present coin ranking with liquidity adjusted market cap.  Bitcoin would be worth much more relative to other coins vs now

This guy also lost his Twitter verified status because he kept promoting scam after scam. Guess he can't afford the $8 to get a new one now.

The answer to his question, of course, is that most of that money never really existed in the first place. He had chances to make it real - they all did - but they didn't... Way she goes.

......

Looks like people are finally understanding what "Not Your Keys, Not Your Coins" actually means:
https://www.coindesk.com/business/2022/11/17/bitcoin-exit-from-crypto-exchanges-rises-to-220k-over-past-10-days/
.......
Your Keys can be hacked as well as Exchanges if you are a Target. Even Easyer TBH

Spoken like a true no coiner who doesn't know shit, nor is he trying to learn about the topic about which he speaks, yet he still has a sure cock opinion -

Go figure?

Stay humble and stack sats - even applies to no coiners and low coiners, even though many of the no coiners may never get it.

The only people that do not look back with regret are Psychos and total fucking idiots. And i got a lifetime of REGRETS boy............
i am sorry that it came clear to me when i am dying...

I was a kid when it came to be ... just a dumb ass game... nothing more and nothing less

i was so wrong...

Yeah, but you are not even trying.

Not easy to have any sympathy for you.

Even if you are lacking in a lot of resources and abilities, there could still be ways to learn and to stack small amounts.. even a dollar a day (or $10 per week) could start to add up and give you many more options after 4-10 years..

Otherwise you may well always be in a rut.. and getting nowhere.. including that all of us likely have better health and better abilities to earn money in our 20s, 30s, 40s and perhaps even 50s.. but at some point, we may well want to have the choice to want to start to wind down.. and sometimes if we have a lot of resources, at least we might not have to do as much physical work but maybe we can do more leadership and mental work. and continue to earn money through that - that is if we need to once we have accumulated wealth through our younger years.. perhaps a 20-40 years worth of a working career....

Options are a good thing to have, and if you never save or invest, it is more difficult to have options, including winning the lottery does not have very good odds - and I personally would not bank on that kind of a gambling approach toward securing my future.

Again..

Stay humble and stack sats... and of course, Matt Odell is attributed with popularizing that telling and insightful expression.
