Miners don't decide the price, the market does. If it's not worth mining, some will quit, the difficulty will drop, and the electricity cost per mined Bitcoin goes down.

Back in 2020 eth started to raise from the dead in the summer and BTC took off in the fall.

yeah step by step we just keep stepping in the 59k slot.
We are slowly moving towards 60K, which is very good to see as the price of Bitcoin has taken an upward trend.
Eh… It’s sort of been in an upward trend, it is just that one off events kept knocking the price down. Clearly without Germany, Gox, and the US, we would be much higher. I think we’ll be back in price discovery range by the oft-repeated Halloween holiday. Some will be saying trick or treat. We’ll be laughing maniacally at computer screens.
