I am of an opinion that we give too much to our brain helpers: you can get everything from the Internet, so you don't need good memory or internal knowledge; you can get direction from the Maps app, so you don't use your sense of direction, etc, etc.
Soon, we would be kind of dumb people surrounded by gizmos, then we would probably lose our "toys" and be just dumb people, but then, over 10000 years we might become "smart" again.

Yeah, but in "Dune" people fought gizmos, which is one possible path so far, I would think...
...in "Idiocracy", people grew "dumb" because, according to the movie, "dumb" people had more children as a primary cause of that development.
This still might happen too, plus, we have decreasing fertility, T levels, etc, etc.

My Strawberries have been coming in this last week and there's not much better than walking out in your yard and grabbing a handful.
Store bought doesn't hold a candle to fresh off the plant.

Especially fresh off a wild strawberry plant.
So small, so sweet, so full of flavor.
Those huge pulpy billiard-ball-sized commercially grown things are an insult to real strawberries.
Same goes for wild blueberries.
Home grown tomatoes seeds are heirloom from Italy.

Same for me, but mostly because of the time passage...it doesn't matter much.
I am prepared for most scenarios, i would think.
That said, after certain age, you are becoming more focused on things like family, health, etc and less on the value of your stash.
I do not get the current obsession with AI, even though it is sometimes useful.

I would love seeing Binance and Coinbase delisting Bitcoin. It'd be way too fun.

Just seems like NFTs; another scam with only 1 cycle's (temporary) interest.
That investanswers guy seems to shill it massively, but then he also thought Bankfeck Fried was a great guy and keeps saying
Tesla's shares will go to $1 billion each without selling a car because the software is so great.
So far I've only seen Jaguar cars drive passengers by themselves in videos. Must be a red flag.

The ONLY Legit coin besides Bitcoin is Monero and that only because it has privacy tech that was slated for Bitcoin (as can be easily researched by reading Satoshi and Hals posts) that was never implemented and if bitcoin ever implements that tech then even Monero will become worthless.
If Bitcoin would be as private as Monero, governments would fight it much harder than they do already.Wait until they figure out that Bitcoin can be swapped to other blockchain-compatible crypto, such as Monero. And there is nothing they can do because it is a decentralized technology.
