Sad to hear about Donald Sutherland indeed.

Especially great in JFK as Mr. X, even though it was just a short performance.

Another memorable movie I liked him in (but seems completely forgotten these days)
was Space Cowboys.
Donald eating a banana whilst riding a roller coaster (Viper at Six Flags Magic Mountain).  Cheesy

This price sucks.

If it drops below $60k I'll prolly scoop some more up.

It might, but on temporary basis, according to Bob Loukas, who advocates just hodling:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_CnqmvQ70uo

TL;DR Most likely-consolidation until Aug-Sep with 70Kish high and 60K (or about) low, then move up in one or two waves with an uncertain high: either 130K or mid 200ds.
A spike down to 52K is possible, but unlikely. Two possibilities for the eventual peak: either around May 2025 and/or October 2025 (it could be 130, then 90, then 200ish in Oct).
This is, basically, what I can recall.

Bernstein just updated their hopium forecast for 2025 Year End to 200K up from 150Km because.... ETF..

People seem happy about the Saylor news for some reason. The guy just bought nearly a billion dollars worth of BTC this week and the price dropped by $1,500. On top of that, mtgox has finished distributing USD and will be moving on to distributing billions of dollars in BTC in the coming weeks/months. This while the German government is selling billions of dollars worth of BTC. I’m as bullish as anyone due to the cycle, but if we don’t dip lower in the short term I would be a little surprised. I just hope $56K holds. That being said, I still think we’re double the current price a year from now.

Bitcoin has always felt like a playground for rich guys to do everything they're not allowed to do on the stock market.

Thank God for this.

It is the biggest reason btc is 60k+

Especially when scrypt would better suit Satoshi idea of p2p money mover.

Doomed to see the future and unable to prevent it
Congress fuckery again trying to sneak in laws to force everyone that uses a "virtual coin" to be identified.

Quote
A Senate bill meant to fund U.S. intelligence operations included a section borrowed from an earlier bill aimed at preventing the use of cryptocurrency to support terrorism. That provision, as written, could require a massive shift in the crypto industry toward identifying users' identities to prevent sanctions that could strangle digital assets businesses. Were it to become law, it would mark the most important U.S. crypto policy yet adopted – and all without significant debate about its merits.

They literally threw this in a bill without any notice to even the senators voting on it.

A piece of legislation with heavy implications for the digital assets sector made it through the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence's funding package recently without most in the industry – and many in Congress – apparently aware of it, but industry insiders consider its chances for survival to be limited.

I wonder if  and Apple will buy before their insane valuations tank or buy in a panic during or after it.

I don't know about NVDIA, but when you look at who is one of the biggest shareholders in Apple, I wouldn't bet that they will buy Bitcoin so soon.
