Personally went all fiat 3 hours ago, have been seeing the warning signs for awhile now, I personally have traded btc for 2 years+ plus NY stock for a few, I can see the signs clearly, this price has been held by a huge team of manipulators for long time, this is going to be a slow down trend. Untill bottom is reached

is this confirmed?

2000btc sold on gox?  Shocked
Bears in the town...

Now 3000+ sold in last 10 minutes, gox is panicking - all other exchanges seem to be keeping their heads atm.

That can maybe be a good sign. Fiat withdrawal working again?

Edit: or maybe not - stamp also hit by sales

Actually no panic yet??

Not so much...

...maybe more incoming.

But likely back to 800,00$. *vomit*

i just bought a bitcoin derivative that SO FAR has been paying out dividends of 15550.51%/yr  Cheesy

pirate is back?

its on havelockinvestments.com

"B.SELL" it pay out big if the difficulty rises

its wild!

and "B.MINE" which pays out daily dividend of ~300%! (each share pay out what a 5GH minner would)

its crazy!

Gotta love the annual yield estimates of those sites. Especially for deprecating assets like those derivatives.

They're good fun though, making a some coin with B.SELL is easier than taking candy from a baby thanks to the hordes of sheep buying anything that is related to mining at silly prices.

After the Dec/01 crash and the failure to recover in 2 months, many people realized that the success of Bitcoin is not as certain as it seemed before.  The China actions showed that governments can stop bitcoin if they decide to do so.  Then altcoins blasted a big hole in the arithmetic that "proved" million-dollar prices in a few years.

People are becoming aware that the price is set entirely by the market, and the market does not seem to see those astronomical prices any time soon.

Thrue believers, who would buy BTC at any price, apparently ran out of money. The exchanges apparently became the playground of speculators who only expect the price will rise enough for them to sell at a profit; or fall by a fair amount but then rebound to the current level.  Thus they won't sell for less than X + 50 and won't buy for more than X - 50. And so the price stays at X.

The buying of bitcoins for use in commerce does not seem to be enough to affect the price, and should be offset by the sale of coins by miners and merchants.

pretty much most of this ^

and to my mind, this creates the conditions necessary for any successful price stability manipulation

Next week will be crucial. The chinese will return. Anybody know the current feeling in China ? Still bearish ?

I just talked to all my chinese friends, most of them are super bearish.

Yeah! That's true. I'm always asking the employees of chinese restaurants what they think about the bitcoin price and they're looking really bearish. And if ask for paying with bitcoin they say, that I can pay with money, cleaning the dishes or birching, but not with "What-the-fuck?-coins".

How could it be more bearish?
I have lots of Chinese friends are they are all bullish and are majorly invested in Bitcoin...
