Strange, yet attractive.
By analyzing the transactions in the blockchain and matching them with a detailed table of BTC price over time, is it possible to figure out the amount of BTC that was last bought at a given price?

The goal would be a table saying, for instance

10,000 BTC were last bought at 1200-1250 USD
7,000 BTC were last bought at 1150-1250 USD,
           ...
5,000,000 BTC were last bought at at 0-50 USD.

Such a table should be useful to speculators, no?

How would you know off-book transactions price?  Undecided

Well, if electricmucus says so, it must be true.

Well in this case it's this slate.com blogger, not me.

Thanks, I have seen most of the presentation. It makes me understand why the double exponential price curve for bitcoin is a very possible senario.

Very interesting conversation about God/silver markets - http://www.silverdoctors.com/long-wrong-ned-naylor-leyland-on-the-last-little-trickle-of-the-gold-repatriation-game/#

Certainly builds confidence to that "something" will happen pretty soon.

Has long been debunked.

Hodling is stupid right now. Nothing but negative news on the horizon from China. Why wait until the end of the month?

January 7th.....quoted for future reference.

So if by "stupid" you mean making money....then yes, it was silly to hodl as the price goes up.....ROFL.

Quoted again because apparently its "stupid" to hodl on to investments that continue to increase in value.

Who needs sleep...
Huobi traders, humans or robots, seem to have gone to bed: hourly volume is down by 90% or more.  As happens almost every day at this time (small morning hours in local time).

Bitcoin keeps waking me up in the middle of the night. What's it doing? What's going on? I'll just check the price on my phone. Oh, and now that I'm up I may as well check the wall and a few graphs... Oh, now I want to stay up and see if there is a price spike at 5:00 AM like has been happening lately... Who needs sleep...

sleep is extremely important

you really need to watch yourself and not worry about price at 3:00am.

trust me, Many poeple have crossed the thin line into insanity due to obsession over bitcoin price movements ( i am one of them )

Thanks, going to crash for a few more hours. Plenty of time to obsess over BC later in the day.
