bid and ask sums are non important. they do not tell anything as they will be pulled and increased when needed.

Made 0.1 BTC off my first trade yesterday (selling 1 and buying 1.1), while holding the rest of my coins. It's fun watching it go up AND down now. its hopeless

Hahah, not trying to pretend to be a pro. If I can trade once a week, I'm alright with that. Just trying to increase my BTC position.

did you buy at for more then you should have at more then 800?

It's not easy putting your BTC under a mattress for a few years, is it?

Sure it is if that's your thing. I enjoy trading for fun and profit. To each his own.
Oh and here it is: the last time we break $900 in 2013 on Gox.
With the volatility, 16 days is enough long time to break $900 several times.
Specially in the market when 850-920 is pattern repeated 20 times in last 10 days.
