Breaking out of that triangle in a big way. Anyone want to place bets on recovery or bull trap?

You mean an actual bet? Yeah, sure. I feel we will go visit the exponential trendline.

I am game. 10 BTC that we don't touch your exponential trendline in December?

The one that projects $428, not one that incorporates data up to Dec. 9.

Oof! fighting talk.

Another insight:

Above a certain volume, TA is absolutely worthless. Large holders can and do draw whatever pattern they want on the charts, sometimes to push the masses into buying or selling.

Like you've been doing?  Roll Eyes
I notice BrM2 actions too, selling into bids and and putting walls at 700, trying to push the market down, he failed. So if he played a big part in the panic bought back to 980 then I don't see this rally continuing and the market will stabilize back around 850 soon..but I'd rather think he is still holding goxbux..

Pfff. This is clearly a camel-pattern in formation. You can see the 2 lumps already and the current rise is forming the neck and head.

Probably. And this camel will spit cheap coins soon.

RUM AND CARROTS: A PIRATE LIFE FOR ME
So who sold at 570$?

Bearish Pendant?

It's more like who didn't buy at 570. Me, for example. Sad

I bought at about $570. I just didn't buy ENOUGH to save me from a net loss anyway. :-/

So far every time I try to use april to predict things it has been wrong and costed me - starting with "a bubble cant pop here" and ending with "there must be a second capitulation wave here" so I am giving that up and only trading based on TA / EMAs now.

seems like someone doesn't like the CHOO CHOO

LOL nope. Let it rise...but it is funny to see some people try to pull the market with them when gox's cred is dead last.

BTW it is only 9:56 here in Europe, so all fresh money didn't hit exchanges yet, banks start working at 09:00 so I expect a rally these couple of days, whoever is selling trying to push the price down will definitely miss the CHOO CHOO Cheesy

Bitstamp SEPA deposits typically land somehwere between 12:00 and 15:00 CET, so in 2-5 hours.

Or nice and early like today at 10:20.

Choo choo! All aboard!

Have made large profits recently trading against a user I've dubbed BrM2 on MtGox. Please dump again if you're reading this.

Does "BrM2" imply the trader may be brain dead?

BrM2 = Bearish Manipulator 2. May or may not be a single person, or even the same person. Its a signature of a large trade.

This trader/traders used to dump, and then place bids below in similar volumes to what was dumped. I placed bids slightly higher and eventually forced him to buy my ask.

I like to call these trades, "chomping the [smaller] whale"

This is my sign we are going up again... Thanks for making another guest appearance Loaded. You have lately been an indication we are going up a wee bit.

This is bitcoin...

RUM AND CARROTS: A PIRATE LIFE FOR ME
I was almost ahead in trading off the huge volatility this weekend, but without fail, I would have done better if I had just held. Thank god I keep most of my BTC in Cold storage, because my emotions basically never get this one right.
