i'm trying to make sense  of what's happening  to give an update to my bitmovement subscribers... i'm starting to think we are in the S-Curve for real. idk i'm scared! is it a bubble or are we going mainstream

ahhhhhh omg BUY BUY BUY!

How many people would have to be using bitcoin for you to consider it mainstream?   I think we are a long way from that still.   Price is currently undervalued in my opinion though, so definitely BUY  Grin

rampion,

you abhor debt, but at the same time are dumbfounded why he would sell off his bitcoins so that he can get out of debt.

I sold hundreds of bitcoins back in march/april to eliminate myself of debt, and i regret NOTHING.

I see, its just that it takes a while to me to understand because i've NEVER been in debt in my life. NEVER.

In debt or held a debt? Don't they have credit cards in Transylvania?

Yes they have, but I never use them for my personal expenses, I use debit cards. Why I shouldnt use the money I already have, instead of the one that I *might* have in the future? Good to have them in case there is an emergency, but why using them systematically and recurrently? Its plain retarded in my book.
I lived off credit cards when I was out of work for six months. No regrets here. I see a lot of people get into debt in an emergency only to never, ever get out. That's often how it works. At some point, you choose between staying maxed out permanently and falling off the grid. Shrug....

RUM AND CARROTS: A PIRATE LIFE FOR ME
changed trade alert  threshold too 50 btc, lets me know of inc dumps asap lol. Almost bit on that last one.

this allowed me to sleep through the day. Woke up to price rises only woo woo

I wouldn't think it would be worth knowing about anything less then 200, or 300 BTC really. 50BTC is such a minor movement.

Good news from Denmark. Finally a fancy bar in Copenhagen is picking up on Bitcoin http://politiken.dk/ibyen/nyheder/barer/ECE2137698/nu-kan-du-betale-dine-drinks-med-bitcoins/

Definitely going to try it out soon.

EDIT: Open it in incognito-window. (what a great paywall they implemented)

Ouch. Hope you bought those XRP with USD and not with BTC Wink

Actually, I wouldn't have the BTC I have now, if it wasn't for XRP.  Which I earned, not bought.  But XRP is a 5-10 year deal IMO.  I actually hope it never sees the types of bull runs we're seeing with Bitcoin. Slow, steady and stable is preferred.   Wink

And how that XRP investment went?

Sorry, I cannot help it, I remember those summer debates we had Smiley

My views on Ripple haven't changed at all.  If anything, they have grown stronger.  And yes I still hold XRP but that has little to do with my faith in Ripple as the payment network of the future.

What's really going to matter for the rest of the franchises, is whether these participating Subways are seeing any significant revenue via Bitcoin.

You went finally all in?

It was a neutral observation but yes, tis true.  I have hung up my bear claws.  Though I always kept some BTC, I could have had more.  Working on correcting that as we speak.   Wink

What can I say...I was wrong.

Sorry to hijack this conversation but i've got 0.13BTC locked in a Ripple account that needs transferring to a real BTC wallet but i've still not signed up properly to bitstamp so can't do it myself yet. If anyone fancies sending 0.12BTC to 17QLJG5wmmcYhACGJKA3B9j9yNGAJUzKsS and then gives me their ripple address, i'll send you 0.13BTC through Ripple. If anyone wants to take this up, pm me your BTC address first so I know who's sent it. Thanks

More notable than the individual (or ten) owner(s) that elected to support it, is the fact that Subway's Twitter account elected to highlight it. It's on their radar at the corporate level.

how many confirmations before they start making your samiches? lol   Grin

Uh oh. We seem to be approaching one of my sell targets. Perhaps I should revise that number. But I can't help but feel like this will turn into a triangle rather than a straight bull run.....

I learnt yesterday that BTCChina doesn't accept HK bank accounts (whihc is very unfortunate).  As an SAR HK residents have far greater privileges with regard to forex, so it would be interesting to know what exchanges are popular there.
Hadn't known about the BTChina/HK disconnect, but maybe these guys are looking after it, they have a money services licence from taking a glance.

Thanks for the heads up, much appreciated Smiley
