Moderate inflation (10% ish) doesn't kill countries, I grew up with inflation like that, everybody just adapts.
The reason Ceylon is going belly up is because they outlawed artifical fertilizers and "went green" to the point where people couldn't make a living anymore.
No fertilizers=smaller crops=less income=belly up. but you won't see that in MSM.

It may sound a bit bleak. But my hope is once people start dying because of "ESG" type bullshit and the things that are currently being jammed down the throats of the common man that enough NFCs in places of power (like the NYT etc) will awaken to the threat of hubristic nonsense has hoisted upon us.
Really the farmers of Europe of our best hope now... may they have better luck than Canada's truckers.
They haven't been painted right-wing by the media, yet. So still a (small) chance that they can have a good impact.

Remember late 2016..? never going above $1k again because too many peeps selling at those price points.
The same was true in 2020 too, and why so many folks sold way too many coins on the way up past $20k .. and surely we did not realize we would be able to buy those back... so surely not easy for folks who sell too many too soon and then likely end up fucking up in other ways too. in their failure to have a sufficient/adequate BTC accumulation plan and to reasonably and prudently act upon such BTC accumulation plan.
