This downtime needs at least an hour or it won't even extend through people's naps.
I hope mtgox will compensate with 24hr fee-free trading...that was awesome.

Not really. DDOS attack is usually 100,000s of requests a second. We're probably like 2,000. =)

Not really. DDOS attack is usually 100,000s of requests a second. We're probably like 2,000. =)
