I commented on a hillary clinton medium article on democracy once that "it looks like this country is run by oligarchs to the rest of us" and John Mcain's brother liked it which made my day.

By the way, the $200 million that you mention is like 100x our default entry-level fuck you status... so we may have to explore this in-between area because surely we can consider having a kind of entry-level fuck you status.. and then we get to levels that are multiples above entry-level, so in that regard, way more potential flamboyance.. and earlier (maybe a couple of years ago)we had gotten into some discussions of what is the difference between rich and filthy rich, and I think that several of us were mentioning levels that were like 20x to 40x of entry-level fuck you status to get into filthy rich levels.....and I suppose in the end, I am not really disagreeing with you that Oligarch may well be considered the top of the stack... but at the same time, I might want to abandon my earlier considerations that maybe $100 million might be entry-level oligarch.. and maybe I am living in the early 2000s if I consider those kinds of numbers for entry-level oligarch?
I will note that some of these questions might not have been as relevant or interesting to several of us years back in the thread because many of us were merely consider our own possible entrance into these possible categories, and maybe many of us were considering filthy rich as the wildest of considerations.. but of course, there had always been the ownership of islands, yachts and planes/helicopters which started to imply that some of us had been considering getting into at least something beyond mere filthy rich status. I had never really though about myself in those kinds of high on the totem pole kinds of ways... but you never know when it comes to looking at some of our earlier discussions of those citadel images.. and even smaller levels of bitcoin ownership ended up putting some relatively low levels of BTC stashes pretty high on the citadel rankings.
