Custom Sec Search

Not sure seen this in WO, but we have talking about a bit about instutional investment, starting to see more 13F filings in the above search. Alot to do with Q1 holdings be also some prospectus for april too. There is also an interesting proxy one for Wisdomtree in there, maybe first time a proxy war started with btc central to the argument for removal of the board

I just had an interesting conversation with some 20-something year olds about Bitcoin.  They told me that it is a scam, it's not real money, there's no reason to own it, etc...  I was actually pretty surprised because they looked like just the type of folks who would be embracing crypto.  I then asked them what they thought of the Cybertruck and they told me that it was ugly and the only electric cars worth buying are from Lucid Motors.  They then proceeded to tell me that what I should be doing is finding ways to get the lowest interest loans possible to use that capital for investments and offered to help me finance my house.  I wish I was joking, but this is 100% a true story.  Reminded me of the Ohio State graduation video that's going around.  Is Bitcoin just for boomers now?

Several years ago (before the 2017 peak) I did a similar thing with some of my students. I even gave $1 worth of BTC to each of those interested, by setting up wallets on their phones. Males were mostly dismissive and didn't care much. Females were generally more interested, and flocked around me to set up wallets.

Since then (especially during/after the 2021 peak) I have received a few calls from some of those students, telling me that their $1 had become $30, and asking how they (and their dads!) could buy more... LOL!

I hope some of them (in your case and mine) got something out of our "Bitcoin education", and ended up coiners... Based on your story and the OSU graduation video, it seems that there's still a long way to go. It's quite disappointing really...

From US ?
Look funny and sad at the same time. However, it just shows we are still FAR from global BTC adoption... And it's a good point for the future.

Self-Custody is a right. Say no to"Non-custodial"

A big ironic how they were looking for the guy for a bit of time before locating him.. presumptively finding him in parts.
