Self-Custody is a right. Say no to"Non-custodial"
Don't let me talk you out of any of your dumbness.  You should do what you believe best, even if some others here might consider it to be dumb.
You are the one who is going to have to live with the consequences of whatever you choose to do, or not to do.
The market has shown why I try to take profits with my short term funds.
Luckily sold 50% around $70K and have been buying in small quantities from $66100 to $65800.

Merely because you were able to buy lower than you had sold does not mean that what you did was the better of practices.. but hey whatever, you do you.

This cup and handle pattern bitcoin weekly chart is the most beautiful thing you will see today.

What is so "beautiful" about that?  You seem to be saying down before up.

these last few days of Bitcoin price made me want to read a book

I am having trouble figuring out how our current place in bitcoin history and/or BTC price performance could be considered "boring."

For instance, today's BTC weight-traded prices are still in the top 20 of all time.

https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.63938265

How could that be "boring?"

Yeah, maybe tomorrow is going to end up lower.. perhaps in the top 30?  Probably not in the top 100.. but even if the price were to end up dropping to be barely in the top 100 with $58.5k--ish, that is not even that bad of a trade-weighted price to be.

Being anywhere in the top 100 of weight-traded prices continues to seem interesting to me... but hey?  maybe there's something wrong with my thinking on the topic.  Perhaps? perhaps?

No.

That is pretty dumb.
I know
Even if it performs a huge correction
Fine I will wait.
It rises to my profit taking line
I start taking profits
Campaign already doing my accumulation and I like my personal fund average of btc at $39K.
If a correction comes before or after the halving then I can start personal accumulation.
I'm not getting too greedy.
That's me,  I only have a strong hand when in loss and not when in this kind of profit.
I'm not in most y'all level yet.
Don't let me talk you out of any of your dumbness.  You should do what you believe best, even if some others here might consider it to be dumb.
You are the one who is going to have to live with the consequences of whatever you choose to do, or not to do.
I also like to buy bitcoin BTC39k as avarage
But I think this opportunity is very unlikely
Although after few days bitcoin halving and I have personally seen that after halving bitcoin is a little lower ( Bear Roll Eyes trap) and if this opportunity comes then I will definitely advance with big amount.

Don't let your hopes for low prices fog your vision, which probably should be to accumulate BTC at any price for the next 4-10 years, and you are likely going to be a head of a lot of people in regards to your BTC accumulation in accordance with your own financial situation.

Of course, there are no guarantees, yet if you are new to this forum and you are accumulating BTC, then you are ahead of the game.  Don't get distracted merely because others have lower costs per BTC or your perception that you are late, when the overwhelming number of the world's population is still not even getting started buying BTC.

Also, don't be fucking around with trying to trade BTC.  Focus on accumulating it for the next 4-10 years or longer through buying it.  The best way to be sure that you are accumulating bitcoin is by buying it. not by fucking around with selling it and thinking that you will buy back lower. which is retarded... the better thing to do is to accumulate until you reach a state of over accumulation, and then once you reach a state of overaccumulation (by ongoing buying of BTC - and perhaps BTC price appreciation), then you have more options to start to sell some of it.

In the end, you are responsible for whatever you decide to do, including if you decide to fuck around with BTC by trying to trade it before you have accumulated enough (or more than enough) of it.

I did a quick look at your post history.. so yeah, based on your earliest use of the forum as a way to bounty hunt, you might not be smart enough to understand what I am talking about.. so hey if you are capable of learning.. maybe you can figure out ways to accumulate bitcoin rather than fucking around with begging for freebies and/or being involved (wasting your time) with shitcoins.

a better alternative in theory could be Iceland

Talk about the rain
Which stays mainly in the plain.

O/T Rant...

......

That felt good to vent that out didn't it bro? It's why I love this thread.
I feel the same way about today's music.
I remember back in the day my old man bitching about the music I'd listen to "blah blah blah  better back in my day! That's not music that's noise! blah blah blah" etc etc...
Now I'm old and decrapit, I find myself doing the same thing.
Yeah, I agree bro, all this woke nonsense is just that, nonsense, in my old fuddy duddy way of thinking.
But here's the thing. You either just come to terms with change or stay in your comfort zone and gripe about the good ol days.
You don't have to agree with it. (And I don't). I just smile, shrug and keep doing what I do.
It doesn't affect my quality of life really. I actually see it as entertainment. It would be boring if things always stayed the same. But that's just me. ymmv.
When my daughter visits I make sure I get her to educate me on the latest silliness, so I can poke fun at it later online and have a laugh.
(only after she's gone, mind you. Else she gets pissed at me and we get into an argument, lol)
On her last visit, we went to the theater and saw that new Ghost Busters movie.
It was ok, I guess. Albeit, I'm not really a huge movie buff. But I had a great time because my daughter loved it, which was all that mattered to me.

Yes very much agree and you raise good points.
My main spotify play list is probably 90% pre 2000. And I haven't turned the radio on in probably 2 decades.
I don't even know why they bother with all this DAB claptrap in modern cars and some car models still have massive antennas that make them look like RC cars,
but I guess some people still use radio.

I did see the latest Ghostbusters. I can rip it to shreds the more I think about many aspects and plot points. But it wasn't anywhere near as nihilistic as what I saw this evening.
I was also with someone who enjoyed Frozen Empire and in those cases that is indeed all that can matter.  Smiley

Many movies still do well so a lot of the stuff is probably just shifting to a younger audience. An audience that perhaps looks for other things than what I do. I mostly look for heart, passion, atmosphere and an interesting story.
But it's surprising to then see them use so many 40-50 (nearing 60 in the case of Planet of the Apes!) year old franchises still, but I guess that is just what they are doing now, even if the audience is different.

On a positive note a visit to Japan is very much on the cards. Beyond their culture & history, their entertainment impresses me.

----

Anyway.... hopefully BTC will be back to 70K during/after the weekend.
The halvening is getting very close now.

I have stuff going on this weekend.

Have a good one everyone.
