Never selling
Despite yesterday's excitement we are still stuck in the range, all we had yesterday was a false breakout of resistance. No collapse yet but I won't be surprised if the excitement is not finished.

Collapse? During a bull market? Are you serious? Are you new to Bitcoin?  Cool

I was saying it wasn't a collapse "no collapse yet". What are you, simple?

The fact that we are still in the range means that the whole thing is a nothing burger.

I fix broken miners. And make holes in teeth :-)
It's kind of weird to watch the same trick whales pull on bitcoin be done in the global stock markets with the same results.

Same system, just bigger whales and the ability to print money.

Seems like you all have had a fun day, onwards and upwards please ;-)

Congrats, I tried to stick to "always keep some dry powder" but I failed.

Doomed to see the future and unable to prevent it
Slang for Mescaline, pretty common for those in the know.

Otherwise know as Mesc, microdot, double barrel and i'm sure a few I don't know. Wink

Ah. Lophophora williamsii. Never heard that term for it before.

It used to be cheap and plentiful but that was a half a century ago. My buddy bought 1.5"-2.5" dried buttons for $0.15 each in New Mexico and mailed them to Toronto strung as necklaces. He sold them to me for $0.25 each. USD and CAD were pretty much at par back then. A typical button weighed about a quarter ounce and was considered a standard psychedelic dose. Once I ate 15 whole buttons and crossed over into a different reality.

Most so-called mescaline tablets were bogus. I could tell the real synthetic mescaline by its flavor. It tasted like natural peyote even though it was a white powder. A tiny amount (an eighth of a tablet) gave you a pleasant invigorating high without being psychedelic.

Those were the days.

Nothing even comes close. Smiley

I use to buy it by the 100's of tabs at a time and do it every day.

Funny people always said you won't get off if you do it two days in a row but that's a load of crap.

Self-Custody is a right. Say no to"Non-custodial"

Not fun... but there can be some senses of relief when it feels as if it might be over.

It can still be difficult to know when it is over, absent our returning back up.  Retracing around 50% of the dip (or coming halfway back up) might not be a bad place to be... yet I have difficulties feeling confidence that it is over... yet.. .. probably still a bit traumatized.

@jjg
when you watch a video from RFK jr talking about dumping dead bears 🐻 in central park why not listen to me.

our next prez?

I am not sure if that is a great comparison point, Phil..

From the information that I currently have, Kennedy does seem the best out of three candidates, so yeah, he does not get too much attention, except for some stupid-ass hit pieces from time to time. so the mainstream seems to be a bit worried about him.

If the Democratic ticket were to have an actually fair vote in regards to who might come to the top of the ticket as picked by the democratic voters, he might be able to beat Kamala for the top of that particular ticket.. but no the democrats are not going to do that, including what they seemed to have had done in their selection of Biden in 2020.. ...

yet the mere fact that the democrats have engaged in some weird selections of their top of the ticket (instead of Sanders).. .... does not also mean that Trump should have had stayed in the presidency, including his criminal attempts to influence (and likely successful influence) of facilitating an attempt of the violent overthrow of a democratic process.. which truly seems ridiculous that Trump is even eligible to run for an elected office (and yeah he ONLY wants the Presidency since he does not actually believe in governing or any role of government, so some folks just love Trump for his destructive abilities, which is strange in itself).

And are "we" getting a wee bit off track in this line of discussion?

Surely, over the years of our interactions, i seem to know you better than I do Kennedy.. not that I am claiming to know you very well... so my somewhat passive aggressive suggestion that I would not want to follow you for economic advice has quite a few pieces of your history that cause me to question some of your going forward advice based on some of the pieces of information that I have already seen.

I doubt that Kennedy is going to have time to post in this forum.. so how I am going to get to know him at a similar level at least as I kind of got to know you in terms of some of you bitcoin-related and/or macro-economic and even financial management topics.. and I don't consider all of your ideas bad.. just some of them... and then sometimes what I perceive to be wrong application of some theories.. .but you are still free to do what you like.. oh yeah, and sometimes you seem to want to urge folks to follow you,

....and even you know how insistent you were on certain predictions that you make from time to time, I find some of that problematic when it comes to cashflow management and even allocating investments and/or risks.  I cannot really stop you from being you, but surely you know the expression that familiarity breeds contempt, and there might be some aspects of our relationship that has gone down that road, and I am not even saying that I don't like you since I would probably grab a beer with you if we knew we were going to be in the same neighborhood.
