I fix broken miners. And make holes in teeth :-)
So 0.2T was taken out of crypto since yesterday.
Where does it go, to the exchanges temporarily or people really taking profit.

That is an interesting question. But hey in the meantime it looks like Bitcoin is on sale....

Self-Custody is a right. Say no to"Non-custodial"
This is not yet another cycle, this is the End of Cycles

The one where after BTC flippens gold it doesn't flip back

The one where web3 supercedes web2

Where culture is collected and accrued digitally instead of physically

Where life is lived mindfully rather than mindlessly

--------

At first it sounded bearish to me, until I unerstood what is meant. Since its creation Bitcoin went through several severe bear periods between the halvings. But what if the mass adoption has increased so much  that no such bear periods of 80%+ crashes from tha last ATH are possible? We see the first sign for that - unlike any other period of 12 months, there was only one 30% correction and two 20% corrections. What if this is a sign that such long periods of lack of interest from the big investors  are no longer possible? The implications on any sell strategy involving considerations of the previous cycles will be hugely negative. I mean if someone is selling with the hope of buying 80% cheaper, this may turn to be a total disaster with some 30-40% dips occurring here and there. Not only that, but this will make any unnecessary major sell from our stash to be a big mistake. This tweet predicts more than a supercycle, rather an infitite bull market. Well, this may look unrealistic now, but certainly the probability for that is not 0 as some may think based on previous experience. And sometimes the past experience may be misleading.

I don't buy it, but hey whatever... there is a chance for anything to happen..

My overall thinkenings continue to be that bitcoin no doesn't work like dat... and I am not even trying to be stubbornly caught up in the already existing models, but there still seems to be more evidence to the currently credible three existing models rather than proposing some new model that may or may not end up playing out.

Something is different now..

All these real money players getting into BTC..
Their might not be such a crash after this cycle as their have been before..
That may lead to the next cycle not having to come up from such a bottom..

Might be the end of “cycles” as we know them..

Might and might not.  I hope that you pee pare ur lil selfie for more than just the scenario that you believe might happen based on these kinds of hypotheses.

Personally, I hardly give any shits because I believe that my system accounts for any of the scenarios, including the supercycle theory, even though, like I said, I don't put very high odds on such a supposed supercycle actually playing out.. especially in this particular cycle.. even though so many peeps are so cccccciiiiitttttteeeee about BIG MONEY coming into bitcoin... which to me means that BIG MONEY can pump the shit out of bitcoin, but that fact that they can pump it and are willing to buy would not necessarily mean that some (or many) of them are not going to jump on the trend is your friend bullshit that is prevalent in human psychology, including the idea that they might be able to buy back some cheaper even though they are selling after BTC had already dipped 60% or whatever level of dip inspires scaredy pants peeps to sell their corns.

Laser eyes were cool for about 24 hours. Then the mETH heads went and ruined the party by copying it, but making it blue or some shit, instead of red.

Ergo, laser eyes are no longer cool.

Fight me.

Good morning Bitcoinland.

After yesterday's new ATH ($58354 Stamp) we finally got the correction we were waiting for (over $5k)... currently $52947USD/$66865CAD (Bitcoinaverage).

...we are just having some fun despite our age (more advanced for some of us).
something about never being too old to be young...

It's about age?

I stand corrected. I thought it was about Twitter.

I don't mind WO memes but I'm not really into Donald Trump's favorite trollbox.

Sorry for the crappy quality.  I'm at work Sad

Edit: Oh shit!  I'm not keeping up.  They should have been blue.

everyone knows that lasers come out of ones nose, ala K9 in Dr Who. any other place is just.. well.. wrong

On Planet Anus, our lasers come out of our... well... in Intergalactic circles, our military infantry are widely referred to as "The Moon Shiners".

Our analogue to your prostate glands are very highly developed, to say the least.

This is pretty funny.  But you must have some accidental exploding fart action with that method of attack. Backfires would be a mofo.

Oh I grabbed some PayPal btc on the dip today.

Well, as I said it's best to have fiat (shitcoin) for this one. Which is why I won't do it. But, basically you buy however many BTC on the spot for current price of 55000. At the exact same time you sell a future, perhaps Sep 26th for this example, for the same number of BTC at a current price of 62700. profit equals 7,700 minus fees per coin

This can be done using CBOE and CME as well as many others, perhaps less reputable exchanges.

The risk for this trade is couter-party only and of course opportunity cost (there is no possiblity of capital gains or losses). Not your keys not your coins. Thing is it's all about levels of risk and what you are comfortable with in the end as well as your goals. Just remember nothing is risk free. Even holding your own keys is not risk free, there are roughly 4million inaccessible coins to prove that.

*Above prices are taken from Deribit.
How does this work exactly? I would love a bit more ELI5.

I posted a link earlier, here it is again.
https://blog.bitmex.com/how-to-arbitrage-bitcoin-futures-vs-spot/

The WO sometimes must be combed thoroughly, but it usually does deliver good info - be it bitcoin or digital cameras.

Or you're just halftrolling and... username checks out?  Tongue

Now 20% with no risks and a perfect hedge? ELI5

I think explaining anything to you is not a good use of my time, however, that is an investment that you might be more interested in as it is perfectly suited to those who hold fiat, rather than bitcoin, and don't want to expose themselves to the risk of capital gains or losses.

the bolded part it the issue (seems to me) most here are just long term hodl mode peeps.

but please explain, i wouldnt mind it. im not too bright but am good at learning from my mistakes. ive run napkin math and i almost always would have come out ahead if i straight up hodled btc instead of trying fancy stuff like that in my endeavors of the past. because it was too easy to lose compared to the almost 100% gaurentee that btc will rise over the long term.

hodling is hands off, just sit back and relax mode. perfect for me. fancy stuff you have to actively watch and worry about.. nah ill pass at the moment.
