Self-Custody is a right. Say no to"Non-custodial"
EDIT: Forgot to mention that i feel definitely more relaxed since corn is correcting  Grin

But it is not correcting.

That thingie-ma-jiggie that we witnessed (in the past 2-3 days) was a correction for ants, if you had not noticed.

Pretty much a straight line (or rather ever accelerating parabola) since roughly 11K and no, we can't reach 100K without some corrections (at least 20%).
I am not even sure what is the argument to not have corrections, unless you are in a highly leveraged position. If so, good luck on your "luck".

Hmm that doesn't look like a straight line to me:

Perhaps we are looking at different graphs? I'm not a TA expert or something I'm just sharing my point of view.  Cool And no, I don't play with leverage.

look at the weekly...it is a parabola, no doubt about it..., albeit an early/short one.

I will agree.   I looked at the weekly (not shown here, but I looked on another chart (once at the site gotta click on weekly in order to show weekly), and you are right.  The weekly does look pretty parabolic.  Gotta give you that much, Biodom.

People "should" root for a correction because we are already overextended on a temporary basis and if we would keep going vertically UP, then we will reach the "blue" NUPL sooner than later and undergo a large correction. This ALWAYS happened before.

Having a "nice" 19% correction to 23Kish would allow up to keep going much further.

It either corrects or it doesn't I don't see any reason to root for it, unless you are either short or you sold too much too soon.

And, contrary to what you seem to be suggesting has to happen, bitcoin no doesn't work like that.  We don't "have to" have a correction in order for UPpity to continue, especially based on underlying bitcoin fundamentals, if happen to understand or recognize what those happen to be, instead of trying to treat bitcoin as if it were some kind of a mature asset class.

I did not sell any...

Why do you have to take the matter personally, Biodom?  Yeah, it might sound as if I am accusing you of selling too early or shorting when I am pretty sure that you do not do that.  I have heard you admit, on several occasions, that you did not buy enough.. so maybe it is all the same thing?

But in the end, my comments are not personally directed to you, even if they might be telling some kind of truth about you not having had sufficiently pee pared ur lil selfie for UPpity.

"I am the one who BUYS"... vs you, who is always selling stuff under some "program".

Again, why are you striving to twist the motivations behind my posts as if there is something personal in there?

I am a little confused about what you are getting at, here, exactly.

You are suggesting that I am pushing some kind of "program"?

Yes, I have a system, but I am not pushing anything or selling anything, even if I believe that my system works pretty good, so in some sense I might be sharing information about the system that I have in order that others might be able to profit (for free) from some of my sharing of my system.. at the times that the topic might come up.. from time to time.

In short, if it is not "mature", then why sell at all?

What the fuck you talking about?  People tailor to their circumstances, and I have a system that has involved selling since $250 based on an overinvestment into BTC.. I am not sure what you problem with that particular system is?  Just because it is NOT something that you do, and I hardly give any shits whether you do it or not.

The system works, you fucking diptwat, and it is tailored for me, so I am not sure why you are striving to criticize something that is working.

Within my system, there is an ongoing attempt to balance a variety of factors including setting up sell and buy orders in such a way that strives to keep me pretty much neutral in short term BTC price movements, and sure of course, the whole system has a built in bias towards long term UPpity, but based on the length of time that I have been invested in bitcoin there even seems to exist some level of neutrality in regards to whether UPpity happens or not.. so I hardly give any shits.. because its mostly gravy.. and gosh, what is the 208 weekly moving average ?  it's getting close to $7,700, so what the fuck do I care so long about how much I sell blah blah blah so long as the BTC price is above its 208 week moving average?  So from the 208 week moving average, any sales made at $28,000 would be around 3.6x above the 208 week moving average.. surely profits, but also a philosopy to not sell any if not necessary or if it is not within the already established system that allows for selling 1% for every 10% price rise, but my sales in the past $10k or more price increase has probably been in the ballpark of 1% for every 20% rise, so it is half of the formula and it allows me to sell more if I want.. so I have all kinds of justifications that I could sell including being overinvested since early 2015.. but mostly I hardly sell any, so I hardly even know what you are on about in terms of suggesting that I am selling too much blah blah blah..

uie makes little to no sense. when you get on these lil rebuttal inclinations that devolve into personal attacks that make little to no sense, merely because you are seeming to have regrets of not buying enough when you were arguing for purported "healthy" down at $10k in September/October and now you are still arguing for "healthy" down at $28k that may or may not happen before UPpity continues... sucks to be uie without enough coins.. and ill pee pared for UPpity.

our AI Overlords are now fully mobile

Boston Dynamics-Do you love me?

Holy fuck. Based on that, I think we will have will have humanoid robots in our homes by 2030.

A buddy has a robot mower for his lawn.  And it’s starting to make sense to replace our lawn guy with a robot...

"holy fuck" was also the first thing that came into my mind watching this. how long will it take for those things to stop you at some intersection and ask for drivers license and some sats?

scary creatures. when we will meet them in real life i bet them are not dancing for us. it will be other way around...  Tongue

Is it time yet to put page count parity behind us, just as gold ounce parity was put to rest years ago?

As unreal as it sounds, I sure hope so!

Be fucking careful of that 415+ though my man, what happened to me is a very common issue with that model. I'd be looking at possibly upgrading and selling it off just to be safe.

Just looked into the "Intel Atom Bug" issue, and decided to immediately order a DS1520+ off Amazon.

Thanks for the heads-up on that. Was not aware of the problem.

No problem dude, I'd hate to get someone bit by it too if I could warn them otherwise. The 420+ is a lovely bit of kit, I'm sure the 1520+ will definitely serve you well!

Thanks for the merit too my man Smiley

He was right, Bitcoin IS rat poison, for bankers and the FED. He speaks poorly of it because the concept breaks a monopoly he is fond of.

I love reading all the news articles predicting what will happen with Bitcoin in the next few months.  Literally everything from "drastic crash in price early January" to "$300k by end of 2021".

Bottom line... no one knows the short term.  Long term is obvious though.

Meanwhile... currently observing more upward price pressure.

Did anyone read this old quote from Warren Buffett?  It's kind of satisfying.

I mean, I respect you Warren, you are an old fuddy duddy but you are very well respected as an investor.  But how in the WORLD could you have not been bright enough to throw a few thousand dollars at Bitcoin anytime between now and 8-9 years ago just as a hedge?

Why would you disrespect it so much?  I just don't understand it, and lost a lot of respect for him by this line of thinking.  Success breeds being open minded.  When I first learned about Bitcoin in late 2013 I was incredibly intrigued and I invested just on the possibilities it offered.  I never knew I was a closet Libertarian until that moment.

I also learned never to put all my eggs in one basket either.  So while I wish I bought/invested more in BTC back in 2013, I know that I invested more than the vast majority of the population and am very proud of that.

My only regret now is that we may never know his true identity (Satoshi).

But whatever Warren, keep buying up railroad stocks, I'll sit back and enjoy the view from here.

Got a new Synology DS420+ and plugged in the old drives. Booted it up and puckered my asshole and was greeted with a "Do you wish to migrate your data" dialogue. You bet my fucking ass I do! Clicked yes and 10 minutes later all back up and running with the same settings and all!

I absolutely love Synology products, and their Hybrid RAID setup. Use two of their boxes (DS415+ & DS1511+) on my network and can't recommend them highly enough. For Direct Attached Storage arrays on my Mac, can't to wrong with Promise Technology products IMO.

Agreed, Synology really is the ducks nuts! Be fucking careful of that 415+ though my man, what happened to me is a very common issue with that model. I'd be looking at possibly upgrading and selling it off just to be safe.
