I've worked on a few houses with people that had one. Yeah, they look impressive enough but to me, a fridge is a fridge. I'd rather spend it on a car or keep it in BTC haha. But you know the saying... happy wife, happy life :p

I find it amusing that some people actually get personally attached to machines.

Doubt I would ever buy a car over £20,000 again, unless we have more hyper inflation of course.
But for now it's about the limit to spend out of my dirty poop fiat funds.
The jokes about Lambos were funny. But I would NEVER, EVER buy one.
Even if suddenly MicroStrategy's BTC were deposited into my wallet.
The more I have, the less I am wanting to spend as I guess when you get older you also realise several things:
1) Buying things with debt is terrible.
2) Spending more than you need on something is an utter waste of money and frankly often time also.
3) Having too many things becomes very stressful
4) Time moves faster than you can possibly enjoy stuff
5) The latest stuff is often not the best or what you really need
(I had my last iPhone for 6 years, it was always the oldest and smallest phone when I was in a group of people, but I felt good getting long term value out of it)

If someone throws free money at me, I would take it:
1. One cc had this offer: spend 6K in 3 mo and get $900 cashback, then no interest for 15 mo plus 1.5% cashback on all spend. I understand that they want to lure you in, but they can't if you are disciplined, pay off the initial spend by the deadline and payoff every time from then on. More then $1K in my pocket and no additional responsibilities.
2. Another card: small opening credit, like $200, but then almost 24 mo with no interest and 2% goes to IRAs.
3. Agree with the latest stuff might not be the best-did not change the phone for a few years-no need.
4. I don't have and don't need many things, just basics; the house got plenty of open spaces, and we actually threw away or put in the attic at least 20-30% of the stuff that got accumulated over the last 15-20 years.

Funny how we were hearing that there will only be a few Bitcoin ETFs that will survive in the long run.
So far it looks like all of them will be profitable anyway ($50 million+ is usually profitable apparently).

Whichever clown you support in the UK and US elections this year, it is clear we are going to be stuck with a bunch of nincompoop politicians who don't embrace Bitcoin or even mention it or in most cases probably don't even know about it. Maybe it's better that way.
Undoubtedly better. The only likely public position politicians are likely to take with Bitcoin is to try and curtail it. Likely the only thing that keeps them from doing so is that it's better for political corruption on a personal level.
