Please feel free to vote in my new Super Bowl poll. Just wanted to get an idea of what people are thinking. Even though the odds currently favor the Lions, I'm thinking its nearly a lock for the Chiefs at this point, although anything can happen.

Chargers / Texans will be a good game to watch tomorrow, and it should be an easy win for the Ravens over the Steelers.

Agreed! The Broncos certainly will very much try their best to win this game and win the last slot for the wild card round.

They're up 31-0 already; yeah they definitely put on their good shoes for this game. This means that the playoff slots are all full, and Miami is indeed playing like they got the memo. Tua's backup, Huntley, isn't showing a whole lot of promise. There will be a time in the next 3 years when they'll wish they had a better backup.

On the Miami Dolphins, if Mike McDaniels cares for his team and if he his very much aware of the situation on the game of the Broncos vs. the Chiefs, I reckon that he should also not risk the health of his players.

Yep, even if no playoffs (they went into it with an 11% chance), better idea to give Tua the day off than take a risk for an unnecessary game.

The Dolphins certainly needs to replace Tua or they need to trade for players who can give him more protection than the offensive lines is presently giving him. However, what is more cheaper? I reckon take a risk on replacing Tua from a first draft quarterback pick and improve the offensive line and improve protection for their quarterback.

However, who would be a good replacement for Tua who might presently be available for trading? It appears that Mike McDaniels should have speculated on Russell Wilson hehehhe.

Another great football week starts tomorrow; albeit the last of the regular season. Some games I'll be trying to watch:

Den vs. KC - Broncos need the win for the playoffs, and they are currently favored by a 10.5 point spread.

Mia vs. NYJ - Home game for the Jets, we all know Tua doesn't do well in the cold, so the spread is just -1 Dolphins even though they need to win this game (and Broncos to lose) to make the playoffs.

Agreed! The Broncos certainly will very much try their best to win this game and win the last slot for the wild card round. I reckon Andy Reid will not let his team try their very best because they have won their playoff slot and they have also won their rest day for the post season. Why would he risk his players during the most important days of the season?

On the Miami Dolphins, if Mike McDaniels cares for his team and if he his very much aware of the situation on the game of the Broncos vs. the Chiefs, I reckon that he should also not risk the health of his players.

Guess who is getting 1k receiving yards for the 11th straight year?

<...>
One of my favorite scenes of that show was when they were doing something completely random and the guys says are you thinking what i'm thinking and he responds yup why didnt they just hand it to marshawn.

I can never find that scene on youtube and it pissed me off.

It's probably not it but the only Marshawn Lynch reference i can think of is the beach scene at the start of season 7.

Yeah, no, I've tried a few times  to find it and just gave up. Sad

Funny just got back from the casino and told my buddy there to bet Evans gets that. Smiley

Congrats morvillz7z! A well-earned win. Interesting how both teams left players with 30+ points on the bench.

And I think someone touched on it earlier, but its crazy how the 2 teams with the most moves (57 and 59) were the first and last teams.

Changing 3-4 players every week and coming in first:

Changing 3-4 players every week and coming in last:

Seems you need at least 20 moves throughout the season to get in the top 4.

Yeah i never kmow if always changing players or not is a good thing.  I do know it takes a good pickup or 2 during the season that ultimately become starters on your team.  Nobody drafts perfectly.  Either injuries or disappointing seasons cripples your team.  Congrats on a nice win, cant wait for next year!

Cin vs. Pit - Bengals favored by 2 heading to Pittsburgh. They are vying for the same AFC playoff spot as Denver and Miami. But they need both Broncos and Dolphins to lose - in addition to winning their game - to clinch the spot.

Then of course Min vs. Det is going to be a showdown of two of the best teams in the league, didn't look at who is starting vs. sitting in those games.

I haven't really cared too much about football since Joe Montana retired.  LOL

I will say that people in Arizona were quite enthusiastic about the recent game ASU lost in overtime.  It was like a weird wave went across the city where suddenly everyone cared about and had to watch this game.  I guess that's cool, but if there's anything I care less about watching than NFL football, it's college football.  Especially now that some of the athletes are getting rich.  I'm glad people get enjoyment from it, but I personally couldn't sit through a football game without falling asleep.

Have you watched this show before?  I believe it's called The League correct? People have been telling me for years that it's the perfect show for me, but honestly it just doesn't seem that good for the bits and pieces that I've seen through YouTube and Instagram reels and stuff like.

Its pretty good, but largely depends on your personal tastes. Its a pretty rude show, a lot of "raunchy" humor, but also funny as hell.

The player references make it seem pretty dated:

Hehhehe this has made me remember this scene in Dune part 1 where Paul was toying in the fight to the death against the expert knifer killer Jamis.

In any case, yes congratulations to @morvillz7z! You are the winner for 2 years certainly is telling everyone that this is not luck. This is skill. I very much want to learn more for you.

I reckon this is my weakness in fantasy. This very much is having the feeling that I need to change 3-4 players every week because it also very much feels that I need to do this to get the maximum points for every week heheheh. However, it appears that the most efficient method to manage your team is only to make 1-2 changes and you do not need to do this every week. If the players are not injured or if their supporting players are not injured, then no need to change.

I declare that I will certainly join next year and test my new theories on this very challenging game heheheheh.

Hey I resemble that remark!

don't take that into account, this year was an outlier, I did zero preseason research.

no making excuses just saying IMO making moves is the way to go, if you don't get a guy a week or two before the other leagues get them then your not playing at the top of your game.

A win is a win, but man...lots went my way.

Congratulations! Once may be luck, twice means we all suck.

LOL, Yup, Mo is the man!

But seriously Chi overcame a ton of adversity with injuries and Southpark had the running backs from hell and I have no clue how he didn't win.

I am terrible at Fantasy Football!!!
Thanks ^^

GG everyone, it's been a pleasure beating/playing with you all.   Grin Kiss   Back-to-back titles feel surreal.

Well, you are treating us as your personal bitcoin ATM from which you can withdraw once every year, then it is fair to say you are not really playing with us, but instead you are just toying and beating us as you please. Roll Eyes

But seriously, congrats on the win and congrats to wheelz and ChiBitCTy as well.

For a brief moment in my semi-final match against ChiBitCTy, i thought i was done. Bills DST recovered a fumble for a touchdown and B. Thomas Jr. scored his 62-yard touchdown. This all happened within a minute, resulting in a 20-point swing. Achane and Chase revived me with touchdowns of their own.

My team even though stacked on paper was a mess going into Week 17, destined to fail:

* starting QB ruled out
* Hurts' concussion which was major downgrade for AJ Brown, Kenny Pickett masterclass  https://x.com/Reflog_18/status/1873443430468333739
* Chase drawing a tough matchup against one of the best corners in football
* Tua's ruled out 40 minutes into the Chargers/Patriots game meant i could not start Dobbins, my only other option at RB. We all know Achane is useless without Tua playing.
* The Colts DST gave Drew Lock (who was coming off two pick-sixes against the Falcons) a perfect passing rating and one of the highest EPA/play in the last 25 years. -4  Lol, i mean come on...

It goes without saying that if wheelz1200 had started Higgins instead of JSN, he'd most likely win the league. With PS2 shadowing Chase, Higgins was primed for a big game, it was an easy start/sit decision imo. Higgins was never not playing (the q tag).

Man, you had one hell of a team set up. That trade that we made worked out pretty good for the both of us, but of course worked out better for you. I don’t know what I was doing, dropping Ladd. One of the dumbest moves I’ve ever made in fantasy football. But I knew before we had our matchup that you were gonna beat me. Your wide receiver trio was incredible! Good job snagging those two running backs as well from Me in that trade they came up pretty big for you.

Again, congrats to everyone for a great season. It went so fast. It’s insane. I look forward to next year and beyond.

Edit: need info where to send championship ring fyi
