Hospitals still struggling not yet overwhelmed. Regular care suspended while finding replacements for infected workers becoming harder which leads to even more pressure.

Addicted to HoDLing!
I was denied (re-)entry to a bar once after I got out 2 minutes to make a phone call because I had no network connection inside. The security guy called his colleague on his intercom to actually go and check out if my jacket (having my ID in it) was indeed hanging inside.

I think I was about 25 years old, and by the way, this was in a beer cellar somewhere in Munich, not in the US.

Soon we will all be chipped, so you won't have such problems. See, the state is taking good care of us.

Let me share a curios and a little unpleasant story. In my country, a large part of the population ID's expires this year. The government has decided to extend this period by another year due to the covid crisis and to avoid crowds. So far so good. But I started receiving letters from all crypto exchanges that my ID has expired. And now I have to write letters to the support, to explain myself to them to give me access to my accounts. I do not currently have access to any exchange and I have to wait days, probably weeks for this issue to be resovled. This sucks.

I was denied a credit card because my DL was expired, even though my passport was valid. What does driving have to do with credit??? My bitcoin wallet never expires.

I was denied entry to a bar once because my DL had expired. I was 29 at the time.

How dare you?

Bitcoin’s Lightning Network Is Getting a Marketplace for Payment Channel Liquidity.

Quote
Today, Lightning Labs announced the release of Pool, “a non-custodial, peer-to-peer marketplace for Lightning node operators to buy and sell access to liquidity,” according to a press release. The service will allow Lightning Network users to lend out bitcoin in payment channels in return for yield. Businesses and services providers can then draw on this liquidity when needed to manage Lightning Network payment flows.

“Efficient capital allocation is one of the most widely felt pain points when using the Lightning Network. Existing node operators do not have access to pricing signals to help determine where in the network their outbound liquidity should be allocated, and new node operators have no way to signal that they need new inbound liquidity,” the press release states.

“Lightning Pool brings these two sides together into a single market while allowing them to maintain custody of their funds.”

Self-Custody is a right. Say no to"Non-custodial"

Billion dollar blocks. I remember, not so long ago, the entire market cap being a few billion. We have come a long way in just a few years.

#1 reason I use my passport for ID: It has my name, DOB, signature, and a stamp saying some Govt says I am who I am. No address, no state/region, no driving history, credit history, or whatever.

If that is what you must know, that is what you will know. No more.

#Bitcoin  is the best performing asset, this year, last 5 years and last 10 years. Even risk-adjusted bitcoin outperforms all other assets, year after year. What's your reason for not having bitcoin in your investment portfolio?

Some more research I shared somewhere else. Might worth a look

Good morning Bitcoinland.

Still over $13k... currently $13433USD/$17875CAD (Bitcoinaverage)

C'mon November. Start rallying.

Go Bitcoin go.

I was denied entry to a bar once because my DL had expired. I was 29 at the time.

I was carded at the Skydome (baseball park) when I was 60 years old.

Nice ego boost but still a little annoying. I didn't have any real ID at the time. I don't drive. Haven't had a license since 1966. Faked it with other cards.

Didn't have more than a birth certificate, health card and Social Insurance card until MtGox insisted I got an official Ontario ID card or I couldn't withdraw my 50 coins. Got the card and they still ripped me off for my 50 coins.

I'll never expose my coins to the internet again and I will strive to avoid identification and maintain anonymity whenever possible.

Man who stares at charts (and stars, too...)
We're still going up, mid term.
Maybe we'll get a short pre election dip, but plenty of hodlers will happily buy it  Cool
