Are you sure that you are not attempting to pull a belated April fools joke on us?

You know April fools is just the 1st day of April, not the whole month, right?

Relatively speaking, the amount does not seem extra-ordinary when the forum translates it into a fee and purportedly the fee will remedy it (as a kind of "atonement"), but to me, still sounds either scammy to be asking or like a joke.  Maybe theymos has a good sense of humor while he is extracting some extra dollars/bitcoins/satoshis/grin from suspect accounts?  Maybe he should ask for bcash SV?  hahahaha.. and say that craig is the real satoshi?
This happens to new users quite a lot. I remember seeing this when i joined but i don't quite remember if i paid any fees or was white-listed. Its crazy that i remember seeing this message but not whether i paid or not.

--snip--
If this thing was the real deal... wouldn't they inconvenience doctors and have them stay on campus rather than venture around town?  However, they aren't because that is a major inconvenience and they "can't".

How many RV's do you see in front of your empty hospital in your town?  Zero.  Because they take their ass home after a day at work!
There are twitter accounts of doctors and nurses talking about the self-quarantine they have to go through when they cannot be close to their family members till this passes over. What do you make of this:

Hello, dude.

You have any lil doggies, currently?  Maybe to take out for exercise?  I know some people get outside for walking their pets, but sometimes if there is a yard that is fenced in then you don't feel any need to walk the dog, except maybe as an excuse to get out.  There still there could be some questions about walking the dog and then lingering outside for too long or not keeping proper social distancing, or even if the pet were to become a carrier by contacting the virus by interacting with people or with other animals.

I had gotten a notice that one of my neighbors has the corona virus.  Kind of weird to find out because I am in a location in which NOT very many people have been confirmed to have the virus yet, even though it does seem to be continuing to spread here (just like everywhere seems to have more and more instances of known cases).  However, a lot of businesses are still shut down in my area, even though there still are not too many cases around this area yet, except for my neighbor nearby me... hahahahahaha..

I have a lil doggie that sometimes had gone over to that neighbor's location, and interacted with the person who is supposed to be infected.  I recall retrieving my dog from that location on a couple of occasions, and the neighbor would kind of invite lil doggie over, but the last time was quite a while back (maybe more than a month), but since hearing about the positive test result, recently I had gotten a bit worried because little doggie gets away and wants to go around the neighborhood visiting (unsupervised).  Some dogs get excited if they get loose, and I must admit that sometimes I am a little too permissive with allowing lil doggie to have moments of freedom.

Anyhow, my recent exercise seems to involve walking little doggie, several days a week, though sometimes I think that maybe mixing up other kinds of exercise might be good, too, because if any of us catches the virus, it is probably better to be in good shape (or at least less bad shape), but sometimes it is hard to know how any of us might become affected by something like a virus in advance because there have been cases of some younger folks and even seemingly in good shape folks catching the virus and having bad symptoms from their exposure.

Sadly this "proxy ban" is true. There were some topics talked about this and there was some explanation about "evil point":
When you register, the IP that you used when you submitted the registration form is used to calculate your evilness. The more frequently this IP or its neighbors were banned, the more evil is associated with your account. The amount of evil associated with an IP decays slowly over time, but the amount of evil associated with an account does not. You must pay or be manually whitelisted to enable posting on one of these "banned" accounts.

Here are some stats:

Evil% new users
053
0-135
1-104.4
10-200.80
20-502.2
50-1001.3
100+2.9

Currently each unit of evil requires a payment of 4023 satoshi. You only need to pay something if you have 1 or more, though.

Try registering another account in another IP address/PC is the solution if you don't want to pay fee.

Holy fucking shit.  Thanks for the information, Raytheon... and welcome to the forum.

I must be living in a kind of bubble.  I don't recall ever hearing about "evil units," and coming out of the horse's mouth, too (referring to theymos.. #nohomo), and as you show, there were postings about this nearly 6 years ago... and probably subsequent postings, too.

Consider yourself lucky if you must, but whatever you do, don't consider yourself smart.

I don't look very lucky to the media trying to feed people full of bullshit!

This is a real Top "News" article at fucking Drudgereport:  https://www.the-sun.com/news/637277/map-reveals-small-rural-towns-coronavirus/

What a Fucking joke.  Idk wtf happened to Matt Drudge over the past few years.

I know where my photos were taken... it's huge fucking empty parking lots!  Look at the satellite view of the hospital... there is TONS of room around to isolate the entire staff if needed!

The amount of space is even more daunting than the picture I posted.  This is reality.  You can verify it.

Alright, good night.  Bitcoin to $10,000 hopefully tomorrow.  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aJ-GcC3YXfg

You're embarrassing the rest of us.

There is no reason for me to embarrass you.  You are your own person.  Worry about yourself and life will be much easier.

I know it's frustrating seeing people not living in fear.  Sucks, I'm sorry.

I'm terrified of AIDS & genital herpes if that makes you feel any better, but the cold isn't going to spook this household.

Doctors crying about isolation as they move freely from work to the gas station to Walmart and then home to their families isn't very inspiring to actually take them seriously.

If this thing was the real deal... wouldn't they inconvenience doctors and have them stay on campus rather than venture around town or go home to their whore wife that was doing god knows what while they were at work?  However, they aren't because that is a major inconvenience and they "can't".

How many RV's do you see in front of your empty hospital in your town?  Zero.  Because they take their ass home after a day at work!

How many Hospitals even offer the options for employees to isolate at work in an effort to protect their hospital, family and community?  Zero?

Where will they put the bodies?!   Roll Eyes Roll Eyes Roll Eyes Please come back to reality... make America great again like it was 2 months ago!   Wink

Does people buying out toilet paper for a respiratory thing strike you as a crowd that is critically thinking about this or just blindly panicking?  Roll Eyes And I'm the embarrassing one?

The buildings are all probably structurally fine after this "epidemic"... I hope... Wink! Fml.

That purported message from the forum is strange as fuck...  I never heard of that kind of thing, especially the ability to measure "units of evil" and evil can be atoned by paying a fee?    The phraseology, and the fun of the language just makes it seem like it is either a joke or just scammy weird.... I mean not very professional.

At today's bitcoin price, the fee is something like $30, and that does sound like a reasonable registration amount if there were some kind of issue; I suppose.  Anyhow, surely something weird here?  You have an active imagination, Gyrsur?

Are you sure that you are not attempting to pull a belated April fools joke on us?

24,580 units of evil

but on the other hand, pretty sure I'd be taken for ALL I'm worth now with the Pandemic and Economic Downturn and all...

It seems that both stock market aficionados and bitcoiners want to BTFD.
Will both strategies succeed, none or one? Make your choices or stay current (as I am doing).

My short term read: lower for stocks, bitcoin follows with a delay, hopefully bottoming with a higher low. Bitcoin is the first to recover.
I don't believe that 24.5% decline in stocks is the accurate measurement of our situation, although I would be happy if market stays where it is at or even go up.

So the virus is fake but the checks are for real?

I haven't seen either thus far.

Hm. Wonder if this will constitute my buying bitcoin, since I did nothing to earn this money and barely consider it mine. It's really more like a shitcoin airdrop that I'm converting into BTC....

No joke.  Same.

I wonder when we are gonna hear from all these Trumpy right wing nut, socialist haters
complaining about the free money their hated government is gonna send them due to a virus they initially claimed was just  "the common cold, folks"....

Probably just going to quietly buy Bitcoin.

Thanks.  *sneezes*

I got my food stamps approved too... $265 for the month of March and $194 every month after that. lulz.  It's a great time to apply... no in-person meetings & they have a heavy workload!  TIP:  Tell them you prepare your food separately.  That way each adult in the house can get their own card... thus moar free food!

The "free money" from basic ass wanna-be socialists isn't even the huge bankroll that is going to flow into Bitcoins.  It's the huge lines of credit and then eventually government-sponsored loans.

I think we may have $100,000 Bitcoins this year fellas.
