Strength in numbers

The funds weren't moved in any sense that is meaningful to selling them, the transaction is for the purpose of tricking simple analysis into thinking gmaxwell is a bitcoin high-roller. A common assumption is that all the inputs of a transaction belong to one entity, it isn't a safe assumption and this transaction proves it.

What I said isn't strictly true, the owner of the large amount of funds was probably only demonstrating the idea, but he could have also been moving funds to an exchange or elsewhere at the same time. We don't know, bitcoin is awesome.

Nope, see https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/i-taint-rich-raw-txn-fun-and-disrupting-taint-analysis-51kbtc-linked-139581

the link you point to appears to be some fancy ass way of mixing coins Or like sharing a wallet Huh ( Complicated much!? )
all i see is that he move the funds, 40KBTC moved!
so i don't get it.... what are you saying?

interesting, thanks

i need to read up  on these werid tx's bitcoin can do, seems interesting.

someone needs to write a book, "a programers guide to bitcoin", learning bits and pieces on the fly isn't as enjoyable as a well written hard cover book  Smiley

I second that, I would buy such a book.
