I would recommend to use MyEtherWallet ,I have been using it for a quite a long time ,more than a year and I have never had any issues with it. But for my bitcoins I am using hardware cold-storage cryptowallet Trezor ,as for me it is the best and the safest choice for BTC.
Ledger Nano S is most commonly used among Ethereum dealers, and for good reason - it is one of the best e-wallets.
I am using myetherwallet to store my Ethereum based Ethereum token. I am using this wallet because it is safe and easy to use. I tried to install Ethereum's computer wallet, but it was difficult because there was a big chunk that made me surrender without using it.

Imtoken wallet is a very secure wallet o keep your ethereum i prefer it to Myetherwallet now i use to like Myetherwallet but due to frequent security breach i switched to Imtoken wallet.

MyEtherwallet is the best ethereum wallet out there in the market. It's one of the oldest, secure and still popular wallet people use. Your wallet is encrypted and can only be unlocked by a private key which only you have. There is no depositing fee and you are charged quite nominal when you are doing a transaction through it. The charge is same irrespective of the amount that you are transferring.

Wow this is and old thread but still active! As your thread titled wallet for Ethereum, we all know that there is a lot of Ethereum wallet that exist today. but I think some has issue with security and functions i'm suggest to used MEW, Imtoken-2.0 or the latest with built in Atomic swap, exchange on board, Multicoins wallet, ERC20 all of this are the features and function of Atomic Wallet. try it for yourself.
You can use blockchain to get the ETH on it. Blockchain is a reliable purse, so it is not a purse. You can buy there btc and eth at the same time. So why should you do this for ETH on another purse. You can use these two coins in one purse. Is this not better? I would just go for the blockade, I already have some bitkoyny.

I always use myetherwallet.com to store my ETH, because it's the best wallet for ETH. but you need to be careful because a lot of hacking on your wallet, don't open the site through your smartphone.
Well, if you are participating in any bounty campaign programs which uses an ethereum wallet address. ERC20 wallets is only one wallet that used to. Likewise if you have a lot of tokens in your ERC20 then you can store it on the metamask for them to secure one by one.

I still trust myetherwallet to be my main erc20 wallet for most of my crypto activities like trading and ICO investments. It is also the wallet that I use when joining airdrops and bounty campaigns which I still occasionally do. But to add more security, I top it up with MetaMask. For mobile devices, I use IMToken.
