Ok, I guess I get it. Thanks! Are there any time/number of people limits? How can you know that I can receive more than 100M? What if 20 000 people participate?
The duration of this IPO is limited. It will end on the 10th May if nothing drastically happens (99.9%).
I really can't, but I think, that there will be much investment with escrow, so that if you want to get more than 100 M NFD, you will have to invest a very big amount, and that would be expensive for you! We will see though.
I hope that 20'000 people participate. The network effect of this would be enormous!!! Good for all the participants.

2: Say 500 people will invest in second category. It means 3M per person
3: Say 100 people will invest in third category. It means 10M per person.
4: And 50 people will invest in fourth category. It means 10M per person.
So it won't be more than 26.6M if I or someone else invest in all 3 categories even with 1250 participatns. And you're saying about 20'000 people!

Second and third category are limited yes! So if you invest 0.1 BTC in cat.2 and 1 BTC in cat.3 then you get maybe 50M NFD if there are many investors.
But in category 4 there is no cap. You could send 21'000'000 Bitcoins to the address, then you would get much NFD, but still you CAN'T GET MORE THEN 100'000'000 NFD.
I never meant that you can get 100 million, what I meant was, that you can't get more than 100 M. Under no circumstances. Not even if you send 1 million BTC

Have you thought about keeping some coins for the bounties for marketing , nodes, exchanges, future development and maintenance, and many other things? I hope that if the >1 btc category will not be fully purchased you can keep the leftover for bounties.
No portion of the distribution will go towords the bounties.
If there are leftover funds from the categories, than they will go to bounties. I will send them to a treasurer decided by the community.
If there are no remaining funds after the IPO, I will personally pay the bounties in BTC with the IPO money.
When the IPO is finished, the community needs to start a donation fund, where people can donate a % of their holdings, so that projects can be paid and marketing be done.
Please don't forget, that this coin will be only as successful as the community behind it is active. Right after the launch, the community must elect a comitee and a treasurer. There needs to be a good concept for this coin, so that it can thrive!

To avoid too many suckpuppets and bring more serious users. The giveaway is very large amount and you don't want one person sign up for too many shares. 0.0001 and even 0.001 are almost free and are not big deal. Because it is a hassle to do so, it can prevent many suckpuppets.
I guess that because NFD wants to give each user a decent and large amount of coins for free or almost free, NFD wants more serious users to participate.

this distribution model is much better.
We should spread words for NFD on all POS coin forum threads (like black coin, NEM, NHZ, mint coin, eXo, and so on) and hope more users will sign up. But do it tactically with a neutral attitude and dont do it like a promotion. The more the users, the fairer the distribution. Hope we can reach more than 2000 users.
