If you want to have a much better outcome with your investment, doing a good research and make sure that you have a good understanding with the project that you are supporting can give a better chance of making decent profits, if it's also possible to have communication with the developing team to know what are the plans to continue the development.

It will give you trust to keep holding, knowing that there are functions that continually moving around the team that will make the project usable.

From that point, the chance is good, especially during the bull season. Investors will come and start bringing investment into the project.

DYOR is really the best thing to do when you're about to invest in old and new projects. That's how you do it and you're holding in your hands the guidance that shall put you at your safety.
But in terms of safety for its volatility, no one has that way of escaping it because all of them are volatile regardless of how old and new they are. And in the scam projects, at the earliest you'll find them out that they've got a different agenda and they're likely to scam.

Because of too many scams from new projects, I think it is better to stay away from them. Why we must invest in new projects? The OP had failed already on your first advice because he said he has an interest in gnt coin which I think a new coin. It's okay if its gmt coin or stepn since I think this is more legit. It's a walk to earn type of coin/project which also got trended lately but I don't think it's only pure of hype since it's one of the earliest, if not the first in that category.

Not all tokens listed on big exchanges are legit but they only list it because this is their business and they are being paid to do it. If only you will say tokens which owned by big crypto exchanges e.g bnb then that would be better. As long as the exchange is alive, their tokens will also be kicking.

Sometimes we don't doubt the projects they develop, but doubt the supply of tokens they develop. Project developers sometimes make a project seem like a joke, with supply quantities that are hard to read.
