Someone asked if a dev had posted here in response, not to my knowledge. I am not a dev, however, I am still in the DeepOnion project, and have been since slightly before the first (modified) Airdrop. I put modified in there because some like to get hung up on the fact that it does not meet their Webster's dictionary version of "airdrop", and I can agree a little bit, so I used modified.
As for the individual that said they were banned for no reason and can't communicate with anyone because of that, I have some advice from my own personal situation. I was banned, myself, for one week from the general airdrop, and I did nothing wrong, however, without going into details that are best kept private, some of my data got mixed up with someone elses, and things went downhill from there. Mistakes happen during ICO's, airdrops, and a million other things, but the DO guys made it right with me after I was "politely persistent". On the official DO website is a contact hyperlink, and even if you are banned from the community forum / airdrop / whatever, you can still, as I did, use that to contact the dev team.
If anyone feels they can't contact the team to get an unjustified ban sorted, use this link,
https://deeponion.help/support/. Now, of course, anyone can type a few words here and claim that I am lying about my situation, that I am a shill, etc., but if you really want to get the situation sorted out, then use every available means to do so, specifically that link. You might be very happy you did, I am. My history with the issue is published in a few places on this forum, and when it was eventually sorted out, I publicly thanked everyone who I had spoken to about it. I am a MEAN person when I feel I have been screwed over, so it's only right that when things get fixed I am just as gracious as I was mean about the issue, fair is fair.
Heck, I have a guy who can't seem to send me my auction winnings right now, but he can send me everyone elses, and so I end up with a pile of crap I don't want at my house, and not the items I actually paid for, so mistakes and confusion happen everywhere, not just in crypto, or in what people assume to be a "scam" or "Ponzi" as soon as an "oops" happens. Honestly, the auction guy I am having issues with, seems honest enough, so why would I scream scam until I have irrefutable evidence? Simple, I won't, just like I will not with DeepOnion.
Oh, and btw, I bet MadMac is really happy today, it's hit five US$, despite someone elses claims a scammy trigger was built in for the devs to dump at 3.50. There are sincere people out there still claiming BTC is a scam, but honestly, the US dollar is more of a scam in my eyes, and I am not gonna stop using either one, lol.
