During Xmas time many scammers come out of the wood works because they know people are spending money and it is the holiday season so they are excited and mostly in a better mood. Perfect for the scammers to take advantage of the situation. Ultimately people really need to follow their instincts. Always ask yourself why someone wants you to do something so urgently. Scammers cause urgency and panic and FOMO to get you to do things without properly thinking them out first.

Newbies needs to be prepared for this coming new year, scammers will try to take advantage of that year because bitcoin halving is already dropping the HYPE in crypto space  already, Learn to do research better, not all bad results in crypto are because a project failed, mostly are because of lack of research, with no good research you can easily fall for scam projects.

1) Do better research on new projects before promoting them or investing a penny on them

2) Visit scam accusation thread on the forum time to time, it will safe you a lot too

3) If you you have to invest always invest what you can afford to lose.

The projects now a days are good at hiding. They can easily cover their motives. They can act all good without people even noticing. Again, if a project looks all good, this does not mean they will not fail. There are projects that failed because they just couldn't achieve what they wanted to.
No need to continuously visit the scam accusation thread. Google is your friend. Just learn how to use it properly.
Your third point doesn't make sense. Invest where ever you think is good. You have to sometimes take risks!

You need to understand that the fraudster does not sleep and is always on the alert. These rules are unlikely to help anyone because the further the scammer becomes more skilled but whenever you doubt it is better to think and even better ask the more experienced on this forum.

Newbie who just got to know this forum and is still getting started on joining the bounty is still not very familiar. You have to learn and keep reading so you don't get caught up in a scam project. Suggestions for doing research first are very appropriate, then visit the thread thread allegations that have been available many researched projects. For investment it seems that it's still too early and still needs more education.

Beginners are always trapped by fraud, yes most are like that, because of the lack of knowledge for beginners and most of them do not want to learn it first. If you are trapped then newbies will realize that it is important to have knowledge before they go directly to invest.

Not only newbies, scammers will and can still victimized old timers, they are good at what they are doing now, they are good at making their projects very appealing and looks trustworthy, so not only newbies but old timers as well, education is still the key.

It would not help newbies in my opinion. There are thousands of thread with the same massage, but I did not mention less people taking part in crap bounties or yelling that an ICO is a scam and he invested 5k into this garbage, it is not going to end.

As for me, it will still be a big help for beginners these days. Most of them are just seeking and waiting for advice so it will be an advantage if we'll share our knowledge with them. It's also important that they will do their own research on how to observe the movement of the market so they wouldn't rely on FOMOs and fake information being spread. Newbies and beginners now are aware that they need an advice from experienced people here in crypto world.

For beginners or newbies who wants to try out crypto. It would be helpful for them to learn, study how to trade. Learn all the basics of trading cause once they have mastered it all, it would be easy for them to get a profitable income rather than investing in ICO projects that don't have any assurance of success.

Beginners need to learn how to select information which is extremely much on this forum.
I see no reason for a beginner to conduct and rely on his own research because he will not have enough experience and skills, because they are acquired in the process of research.
Thus, the study of other people's analyzes and comparing them with one's own opinion will be a much wiser act.

I agree to what all you said but the problem is newbies are taking this message for granted. Somes are lazy enough to even read the arcticle. Because everybody were all thirsty to join campaign, or invest something without even reviewing what the project has or if it seems suspicious.  But I really commend this topic, I just hope that newbies would care about this kind of stuff.
I think traders and novice investors just don't know where the right article is because there are more articles that are not right, for the better it really needs a companion for these newbie traders so it's not spent by fake investments or scam projects.

Nice one dude Wink. This one suits very well for busy and as well as lazy people out there. Actually, this is the fastest way I could imagine to know if a certain project/service/platform got fraudulent activities. Imagine, all you need to do is to get updated on the Scam Accusation (Reputation is helpful too) and you can now filter the scams from legit ones. Plus, you can see testimonies there from our co-members so you can really weigh which side would you believe in Grin. This only proves that our forum is the best one stop place to find everthing inside our beloved crypto sphere.

New people can listen if they think and learn, if they ignore the advice they will fail then they will have experience and will learn our advice, new people always get stuck Mistakes are entirely possible.
I think new people will always listen to the advice of their predecessors, because new people are obviously still very minimal in their knowledge and they also want to learn for free from people who already have a lot of knowledge and experience in the field of cryptocurrency.

in my opinion for a beginner, it is still too risky to start investing in a project, even though the profit opportunity is large. but it will be even safer if investing in altcoin is already widely known to many people, the market is already known to many people and you for beginners will also be easier to get information because altcoin is certainly a lot of discussion. for example etherum, ripple, doge, xlm, and many others.

The upcoming BTC halving is the next bait of the scammers, everyone should mind his business carefully. The various ICOs are launched by the scammer groups and they are busy with creating the next batch of fraud projects. Investing in the project requires a dedicated job, serious market analysis and more. New investors avoid doing business with low-rank projects.
i also believe with what you are talking, they will create a kind of scheme next year and for those early people who know that scheme can earn big amount so we should watch what it be and you can also earn from it .

What kind of schemes does created that does early adopters can benefited though? Provably it's another scam scheme since that words is so over use by scammers and maybe it's best to not look for new ICO coins and stay focus on Bitcoin or maybe on ETH,LTC, and other top coins since for sure they will have a great future on next year timeline.

Well, I think it's not only for newbies. Even people with enough knowledges and experienced ones should've always be more careful. And always be cautious of anything, anywhere and all. Scammers always comes with a new way of scamming their victims-to be. Whether you are a newbie or not, there's always this small gap for scammers to tricked you into their trap.

Especially with bitcoin halving in the coming year, I can't imagine how many ideas scammers came up with to fraud those poor soul.

Ethereum just had the Hardfork a few days ago, now is the time to be extremely cautious, the better the innovation, the smarter the scammer tend to be. I expected that within this new sector of finance dealing wit hBitcoin and cryptocurrency, their were bound to be a numerous amount of scams floating around. This should be expected, the market is really unregulated and the year of 2017 proves that. How else could the market price pump to $20,000 taking the altcoins on the ride with it, only to deflate indefinitely? Now we wait patiently for the price to recover and finish correcting itself. It's going on two years now, almost 3.
