I finally opened a Bitcoinica account and put in a sell at 1:2 leverage. So far I have made 1% on that even with Bitcoinica's enormous spread. I think it will pay off pretty well.
As long as you don't use too much leverage should be fine

I'm almost positive you guys are SA trolls, just trying to make the rest of bitcoin users look bad by being extremists to a fault.

just another ad hominem from a pessimist who doesn't bother to look at the number or content of posts i've put up since i've been here.  you'd see that i am a true believer who's contributed much quality content to this forum, with the exception of perhaps the Spec Forum which is the Wild West of flaming.

If you think the Spec Forum is the Wild West of flaming, you haven't been to the altcoins forum Cheesy

So, tired of being wrong yet?

this is what we love about you Bears.

you come up with statements that make all the rest of us say "huh?"

As far as I know, the price is still $3.06.  All the bears whining isn't making it go down.

as someone said in another thread paraphrased:

"this is the beauty of Bitcoin.  it doesn't care what the naysayers say.  it just keeps marching on.  TIME is on our side."

the "heating" started at 32.  we went to 2.03 and i'm still here and kicking Cheesy

lololololol, we haven't hit boiling temperature yet. (What do you think is boiling temp? $0.00? Can we test this hypothesis scientifically, because I don't want my analogy to be crushed on a scientific basis.)

$3.20?  my it seems to be cooling off in here! Cheesy

I once put a frog into a pot of cold water.  It hopped out.  I tried again, it jumped out again.  It's a really stupid urban myth 'cause the frog won't stay in the pot long enough to even get it to the stove, let alone to heat up the pot.

Yep. It's scientifically vacuous. While the experience of heat is relative to environmental temperatures (even for us humans) the actual pain caused by thermal damage to the frog's skin would be an objective sensation, and would be enough to cause the animal to attempt escape.
