Perhaps? I have searched a bit in google trends to search for a rough statistic regarding "online" or "gambling" searches and it clearly show that it had a sharp decline after the month of July. Currently, though, we're not seeing a massive jump of interest worldwide maybe because some countries are able to get back on track, therefore people has now job to do on a daily basis.

A pandemic that changes a lot of people's habits could become one that will keep people do gambling online because they have made it a new fun habit.
Grapik does not show a high rate of increase, meaning that an increase in online gambling will indeed occur even if there is no pandemic, so when this pandemic is over and people return to their normal activities as in the past, online gambling remains an option because of the many systems in this world that done online including gambling.

Gambling business and activity has increased heavily during COVID. No wonder, more free time (forced sometimes), less social life and a bit of you only live once.

Add campaigns were also heavy on TV, internet and other. Do you think that this trend is here to stay or people will gamble less once COVID is better solved.

That trend will stay among the people even if the pandemic ends. People will know where they want to play gambling, whether it is an online casino or offline casino. If the casino is still closed and does not operate in their city, they can visit online casinos and start playing gambling. I think an offline casino gambler is already moving into online gambling. They can't visit their favorite casino because many of that casino is not operate. So only the online casino that they can use to playing gambling while they can't go to out there.

As the world's population is constantly growing it's pretty normal to see more gamblers' activity year after year. If you check the stats carefully you will see the graphic is growing almost proportionally.
Furthermore, nowadays gambling is much more accessible than in past years. Even a kid can start gambling in a crypto casino which doesn't ask for identity.

Lets say, lockdown was removed. Normal lives of people return like doing regular jobs, most of the people will be busy with their jobs and in their personal life as well. Then gambling and their free time will be lessen then.

Hopefully, we'll go back to normal and proceed with our lives where we can only gamble for fun because the more we engaged ourselves with gambling, the more it is more addicting. Thats reality.

Nope I don't think so.

Gamblers especially those who are addicted will still continue to gamble regardless of what will happen with the current pandemic we are in right now and knowing that some of them or most of them are enjoying while gambling, people always like pleasures right so they will continue to gamble Smiley.

Its possible too that those gamblers who are gambling in a casino before the pandemic will switch into online gambling because it will give them lesser stress and there is no need for them to go outside. Also take note that more and more people are using internet especially to those countries who imposed lockdowns last year and the OP has said that gambling ads are heavy in TV as well as online. There is no doubt that there are some internet users there who aren't gambling at first will try to gamble at some time.

There are more things to do when Covid19 is gone. The positive side is that they already know how to go back when they have free time as well. They may also try using their phones to bet.

People gambled long before COVID-19 came into this world. People will gamble long after COVID-19 is gone out of this world.

The graph shows consistent annual increase in online gambling through the years. COVID-19 is only present within a small time frame of that.

There may be an increase in online gambling during COVID-19 due to certain reasons such as most governments' order for people to stay at home, less social life, closure of land-based casinos, and so on but there must have been also a decrease due to people losing their jobs, livelihood, or businesses, and so on.

If we check the rate of how people that gamble are increasing, we may not attribute the increase in 2020 to Covid-19. What I just noticed is that more people are joining to gamble, the major cause of this are

1. The rate people are having access to the internet which is increasing.
2. The rate at which gambling sites are making their sites more compatible with phones, unlike before which are only more compatible with computers.
3. The world population that is also increasing, the more people the more the number of people that will gamble.

These are what I attributed as the reasons why more people are gambling, and the reasons that more people will gamble in the future.

Considering that the chart you presented was online, I suppose it would, but only by a small amount. The difference between 2019 and 2020 isn't that big, and even if we consider that there was a pandemic, there's actually quite a small difference between the two, so I suppose we can say that it was only a matter of time, with or without Covid, that the online gambling market would grow to what it is right now. Not to mention that crypto-related gambling businesses have been quite on the rise ever since way back then already.

I'd suppose we'd see a period of time after Covid where people gamble less, after all we need to adjust properly and earn money since there's a lot of things we need (And on that regard, tourist attractions would boom like really well), so there's that, but after that it should return, heck maybe even grow compared to before the stagnation.

Since vaccine is already available for this 2021 then i can say that there's already some decrease.Physical casinos had opened their doors which means those players can already again access or go again into those physical places which means less people would play online.COVID is still here to stay but since cure and vaccines is already avialable then we might be gradually switching back to our normal lives once again.
When it comes to demand then it would be diverted and would really be equaled again just like before.

Covid will not go away anytime soon. It will be here for many years.
So I don't think the interest in gambling especially in online gambling will diminish.
A lot of gamblers are oriented in online gambling during this pandemic, and I believe, a lot will stay in this newfound way of gambling.
Because even if we say, vaccine has been rolled-out in most countries, still, the dilemma of going out and mingling with other people is still there.
In this regard, I don't think gambling interest may end with covid recovery. They just found out a new and safer way of gambling, and that is online.

Its understandable that due to strict health protocols or the new normal that we are following now which means people are mostly into their homes and making out
remote works which means they are most online where these gambling companies would really taking this opportunity to get more users and its understandable
for a business to do such thing because everything could really be monetized once they do able to hook up players into their platform.

In spite of losing jobs where someone could think that spending money as of this moment isn't ideal but there are really people who can still play
despite of the current condition we are in.
