I am using Mobile App, what's said above was to update the app on December 2. Does that mean I should just wait for that update and everything will be fine? Or it's required to log in the account first on updated Waves DEX’s web version/desktop app?
Greetings. You will need to get access to your app, press on the "Update" button and install a new version within Google Play or App Store.

Sincerely,
Waves Community Manager

i like the idea that we can now install locally the exchange, its sort of a blocknet type i guess but jesus can we just install the waves exchange then import our seed there?

if anyone had installed the desktop exchange can you please share the screenshot of it. i'm curious as to how it looks already. i just wanna make sure if its worth doing and will there be a volume to it this time.

Hi.It's quite unclear what's not suitable for the migration procedure for you exactly. Also, the migration is a mandatory step, as the current working products will operate in a restricted mode after December 2, which means you won't have an opportunity to trade, handle your leasing, check your portfolio, etc.
The launch of Waves.Exchange is scheduled for Dec 2, 2019

Kind regards,

Anyone who doesn't enter at this level, should find another occupation.

The only thing that could happen is bitcoin crash, waves will then wick to $0.5.

I'm already in and want to get out on the next train, Waves price is stagnant despite all the developments. Perhaps marketing and huge partnership is needed to get Waves going? I see other coins pump and Waves does nothing is making me unhappy. :/

There are many reasons for this low price, but from a long term risk/reward assessment, the time to enter is now. More importantly, not rush to sell until $68 or more per coin. That is the real challenge, buying at 3 year low is easy.

"The process of migration from Waves wallet and DEX to Waves.Exchange has begun"

sorry this is confusing me as noob: I´ve never used the current DEX and will never use the new exchange, too; The $Waves are just molder at the official $Waves wallet since years and waiting for the moon there 😴🕸. So I needn´t to migrate anything, right?

would like to know what will remain as waves wallets after this migration, besides keeper.
also it it postulated that token liquidity will increase with waves exchange ?

Hello estenity! As of December 2, 2019, some restrictions will apply to Waves DEX’s old apps. If you are using the old apps, you will no longer be able to: create accounts, have access to the Waves DEX interface, view your portfolio, make transactions of any kind: transfer, issue or burn tokens, lease WAVES or cancel leasing, use any gateways.

Best wishes, Waves Community Manager

thank you for response, i will precise my questions:
-waves keeper will remain functional ?
-waves explorer will still allow to see the portfolio ?
-will liquidity be improved, as it is very difficult now to transact?
Yes, the Keeper extension will remain operational and will work in a regular mode. Definitely, the functionality of the official explorer remain the same too.
Yes, the long-term goal of Waves Exchange is to improve liquidity.

Sincerely,
Waves Community Mananger

thank you for these important precisions.
tried to shift to waves exchange, but it did not work;
waves.deb would not run after installing on ubuntu 18LTS

Could you please contact WavesPlatform support by raising a ticket here (https://support.wavesplatform.com/) and elaborate on your situation?

The process of migration from Waves wallet and DEX to Waves.Exchange has begun – make sure you move your accounts so you can enjoy uninterrupted service when the new service launches and the old one is discontinued on December 2!

If you have any questions, you can check our FAQ or ask one of the new exchange’s advisors.

Would this mean that our tokens will be useless anymore if by December 2 we didn't migrate our waves to the new exchange? Or can we just keep it there until we have time to move it?  I wanna know because I don't have time for it yet and I am hundreds of miles away from my parents basement where the usbdrive with all the details I have to login is stored.  Installed exchange looks at lot better than having a web exchange that can be hacked by someone.

Hello.
The process of migration will be available even after 2 December. You will be able to transfer your wallets and your funds will be in safe.
Best regards, Waves Community Manager.
