anyone knows what that means:

We will be supporting fiat tokens, tied to major world currencies. They will be backed by existing financial institutions, who will provide market making for the assets, compliant with their KYC/AML. The structure is similar to Ripple gateways, it is not a market-peg, but a full backing by a third-party entity.

 Huh Huh

How, what?

Well one thing I will point out, if you apply for of the KYC/AML license. If memory serves me correct. It typically takes a year for them to approve it.. Along with $250,000 for the license.

$250,000 is just 600 BTC  Roll Eyes   Devs have more than enough

Somebody at Waves should be looking at this right now. I hope Sasha is a good manager. Now he has lots of money and can hire top developers to build-out his idea. I hope he remembers and is thankful for the buyers of this ICO who made it possible for him to succeed.

I think now they have the fee covered...also the fee for a bit license if they so choose. probably could throw in $ for some lawyers to expedite the process.  a year is not a long time to wait.

Right - apply for KYC/AML license, right after running an ICO that is NOT compliant. LOL

No formal relationship with waves.. Interesting..

No idea why that matters, he worked for the project period. Acting like a child now cause his boss threw a bitchfit just makes me lose respect for him.

It is misleading investors, that a person is on the team. Raises the question who else listed there isn't actually directly working on the project.

It is also really bad form to put someone's name/picture/etc. on a page without first asking for permission.

They've corrected it though, so let's all move on. But Charles did the right thing there to call it out. He was actually quite polite and decent about it.

Not to mention that he's just a vindictive pussy posting it in a separate thread on the day of the ICO even though he knew about it for over a week.

Doesn't matter though, the ICO is a success and Charles gets to whine in his corner.  Only people complaining are broke children trying to make themselves feel better for missing it.

I guess I read the wrong post from Charles. Wink He came across certainly not as you suggest..

No it's not, since he was removed from the team before the ICO. I would also point out that Charles acted like a child, and was all but polite about it. Charles 'affiliation via proxies' rant is just dumb, since being a consultant developer is just that. Being involved. And now he's just trying to save face for acting childish.

confusing Huh

Charles appears to be a good guy. He is one of the founders of Bitshares.  He wrote a whitepaper with Bitshares creator Dan Larimer and Stan Larimer back in 2014.

Yes, waves is the biggest scam of 2016.. Glad I trusted my instincts.. This shit is a lie

Can we get some clarity why you were listed on the team page please. Also I appreciate the answers.

This is why I got so angry. There is no formal relationship. Waves should have not listed Alex as a team member. Alex nor I were consulted in this decision. Using someone's name or work to raise millions of dollars is a serious concern and should not be taken lightly.

Scorex isn't designed to be a full and secure cryptocurrency. It's a great platform for rapid experimentation, which is badly needed in academia and industry. In fact in the announcement of scorex, there was some text criticizing ICOs. It's one of the reasons I loved the project when I found it last year.

This is not a debate about open source. Not once has anyone said scorex cannot be used. It's an argument about iohk personnel being represented as employees or partners of another Venture for the purpose of raising millions of dollars. It is something that I cannot permit. I asked privately for it to stop and then had to escalate after the waves project continued to imply via proxies a relationship.

I assume it will stop now so I wish the project well and the
