can someone share the screenshoots of the new dex? I mean those one who particapates in closed beta

 Shocked Shocked

so this will be available also as chrome app ??

i like this very much , simple and clear layout yet it calling you Smiley cant wait till it will be released ....

btw is this the reason why its mooning now ??

For sure it helps.

Both Lisk and Waves are close to announcements and releases, that's always positive for the valuation of a project.

Waves will have the fastest blockchain soon, fully implementing Waves-NG makes it capable of handling ~86 million transactions per 24 hours and it is scalable if it runs into it's limits in the future.

Yes, also as Chrome app. The app is only a very thin layer which just opens the webpages. I wouldn't say "mooning" Smiley, but yes, i think this is one of the reasons why price is going up.

I think the first real working DEX  is coming, it is a big news.
Good for all tokens on waves platform, simply exchange tokens on waves directly for BTC, ETH, USD, ... secure fast and cheep.
Amazing

I have a noob question: now Waves' market cap is around 500000k and ETH's market cap is 60x that number. do you think it could be able to close this gap in short time or not? I don't believe Waves is ready to a comparison with ETH, but i would like to hear your opinion!

First thing I have to say, I have great respect for Ethereum, their founders and what they have achieved.

But at some poins Ethereum is losing it's lead.

Let me explain this:

Ethereum exists for ~3 years now and is struggling with scalability. During ICO's there are problems with handling transactions, some people paid over $2000 in gas to participate in an ICO.

Waves is working on scalability right from the start. Currently it has Waves-NG on testnet that will enable 1,000 transactions per second, where ETH can only handle ~7 transactions per second.

Ethereum has the Solidity script language for smart contracts. Though it's very sophisticated, it needs highly skilled coders and comprehensive audits before the smart contracts can be released.
And even then, we all remember the DAO, multisig wallet hacks, multisig wallet locks, etc. It seems to be very hard to write "flawless" code in Solidity.

Waves will implement on a non-Turing complete script language called Sigma. It will be easier and safer to write, audit and implement. "Keep it simple".

Ethereum wallets are difficult to understand and work with for people who are in crypto for the first time. Try the Mist wallet, compare it to the Waves Lite Client and you'll see the difference. There are DEX (decentralized exchanges) for Ethereum but they are slow, not very user friendly or under development.

The Waves Lite Client has a built in DEX, it's easy to use already. After the Waves-NG + new DEX release, it will be lightning fast, even during high transaction volumes.

So currently, Ethereum and Waves are in a different developmental state, where Waves aims at UX / UI and speed right from the start and Ethereum is more or less struggling and awaiting the 2019 (?) Plasma release to catch up.

i understood... thank you very much, you wrote something specific and easy, great job and good luck!

Any price speculation for waves coin..
where it will be in next few weeks, can it beat ethereum

Think it's not necessary "to beat ethereum". There are many price speculations ongoing from $10 to $300. Nobody knows ofcource where waves shall be in price in a few weeks or one year etc etc. Though it depends on adoption of new users which is happen every day.

Here you can see the stats of current funded wallets and many more.
http://www.wavesgo.com/stats

When you check this you shall see that everyday new wallets are made by new users.
In addition, waves project i think very big development, better to hold waves coin for long term than make speculation about the price. I believe if the community of waves grow, then waves coin price will growing rapidly

Guess the exact date Waves will cross $10.00 for the first time - win 10 Waves if closest!
I'm curious how long our friends have left to pick up cheap Waves with NG almost onto Mainnet, and new DEX GUI being beta tested in 2 days!

Absolutely looking forward to the DEX! This is Waves 'killer feature' in my opinion.

Don't forgot the combination with the waves-ng what is coming closer. A new dex with who works very fast.

I

Yeahh!  I surely didn't/don't forget about it!  I still hold all the Waves I bought in 2016 ($0.16 / WAVES).

While Bitcoin is struggling to handle transactions, fees rising to the moon and forks flying around like vultures...

...Waves implemented Waves-NG on testnet, handling over 1000tx/s on the blockchain... for a fixed fee of 0.001 Waves / tx.

Bitcoin can handle ~648,000 transactions in 24 hours.

The Waves blockchain can handle that same amount of transactions in just over 10 minutes...

Do we need it? We do!

DEX is growing, daily transactions are growing, the new DEX release is coming and with Waves-NG we can handle a whopping 86,000,000 transactions / 24 hours.

There is more and more talking about that decentralized exchanges are the future. With the implantation of Waves-NG waves can handle the crowd. Looking forward to it.
