Waves has improved recently with the new site and interface however I still don't really like it as a platform for launching coins I think using Ethereum network and having ERC-20 tokens is a much better way to go. Can't see any obvious comparisons between Waves and Bitcoin so I would stick with BTC as being the better coin of the two to own.
bitcoin 100%, because bitcoin is more successful and is in great demand by many people. bitcoin can also produce very good benefits.
Bitcoin is the biggest and strongest in digital currencies. It is not right to compare with waves because it would be unfair. waves need a good project and time. my choice bitcoin
Waves can not beat beatcoin, because it is stronger and better, and most importantly it was the first!
how did you come up with idea to compare BTC with Waves? I don't believe in waves. They had enough time to prove community their value, but now it seems to me low quality product
Currently BTC still has problem with scalability issue but this problem will solve later by lighting network. By lighting network BTC will possible to proccess amillion transaction persecond. So BTC still under development to become much better for the community. And for Waves also very good crypto because has fast and very cheap fee transaction, i also use Waves when make deposit to other exchange to avoid big transfer fee.
WAVES will never become as strong as bitcoin. I think that each of us understands this. I think that WAVES is not a very good choice for long-term investment.
Waves NG - has been released today making Waves the fastest blockchain in cryptocurrency. 1000+ transactions per second compared to 3 for bitcoin. I'm tired of waiting for 3 days for my bitcoin transaction to go through, and paying $30 USD. Bitcoin was the first and is well known with the media coverage it receives. Usually the first coin people buy. It's time for a new coin to take over, some day. I think Waves is the best!
hi, comparing bitcoin and waves is like comparing apples and oranges. waves is more comparable to ethereum because both of them have similar use case and has tokens. but when we talk about transaction speed, sure 1000 tx per sec is very fast, but there are also other blockchains that are faster than waves (bitshares/steemit/eos).
bitcoin and waves are so different projects. bitcoin is the major coin that dominating the market. but it is not possible to compare it with every altcoin. waves has a different blockchain and about to release smart contracts. there will be new icos coming up using waves platform in the future. waves is more similar to ethereum and neo.
How could you be comparing waves with bitcoin its no where to near the competition to btc and should be only compared with other altcoin.
I think that now many participants of the crypto-currency market understand that bitcoin is not really such an effective coin. It has a lot of disadvantages, slow and expensive transactions, this is the biggest disadvantage of this cryptocurrency. this comparison is non applicable for now, waves will be competitor of ethereum and neo,when smart contracts will be active in mainnet.After atomic swap it will be a good alternative of centralized exchanges, tokenamica, vostok, voting,messaging, there are lots of ongoing project under it, after it will completed (next year) waves will be the biggest candidate of dominance of the market.
bitcoin is far more profitable than in waves, as seen from devotees, more and more investors have bitcoin than waves, other than that both these coins have great distances on price.

If the atomic swaps work from Komodo and Bitcoin Atom, I think the entire market will change. Bitcoin is way too slow and the transaction fees are ridiculous. It shouldn't be this way, however, these are just growing pains. There are billions of people in the world and only 21 million bitcoins
My first impression this currency frequently becomes the place chosen for many dubious token offerings thanks to the cheapo token launch. That is encouraging the wrong type of attention IMO.
