Just don't talk to a stranger on social media and in all any forms of contact that just contacted you abruptly. Scammers will do almost every trick once they've already a scheme and strategy. Some might choose that they know and those random victims.
Never talk to anyone that you haven't talked to before if it's about making money or how to build your wealth through investments. Because most of these scammers are playing psychologically and using people's weaknesses to trick them and one of it is through money and greed.

Yes I have heard about this also, a friend of mine was a victim of this. His identity is being copied and are using her name and image as bait to a foreign people especially in Aisa to extract money in a form of MOL points and it can be used to buy avatars and weapons to some online games in excange of cash.

Main point is, no one is safe from any form of scams or identity theft. We just have to make secure to never give our informations to anyone even friends who might use it illegaly, especially in social media.

Must we give a reason for scammers to continue scamming us?

The insensitive increase in scamming activities over the decades has been on the increase in most parts of the world.
People have attributed this increase to several factors and yet, despite the awareness gathered, the trend still strives.

One will be eager to ask ways scammers get this done and the ways are:
1. Through your contacts
2. Through social media platforms
3. Through manipulating your electronic mails (email)

Following the increase in this, it is important and necessary to avoid this by;

1.  Pray to God for you not to be a Victim
2. Always do well to avoid too good to be true messages of you winning a prize for what you are sure you never applied for
2. Emails that are linked with your financial affairs should not be used on almost all platforms and links.
3. When you do POS transactions or purchase, ensure you are conscious there are no smart play with your credit or debit cards.
4. Be updated about the lattest trends and techniques been used by scammers in everyday life.
5. Never let greed control you, as greed makes you prone to been scammed.
6. Mind those who you give your phones to make calls and contacts to people you don't know.
7. ALways be conscious, or better still, avoid connecting with Wifi networks as this is a means of extracting your data.
8. Always remember to log off your personal accounts (emails, social media) etc. when you use public cafe' and
9. Report any problem associated with the loss of any of your financial institutions to your banks.
10. Be able to patiently read terms and conditions before saying yes or accepting terms and conditions sent to you.
   Lastly
11. Be able to cross-check emails sent to your phones regarding your financial statements as the messages are clone to,
resemble your banks, but rather having slight changes mostly at the middles with one word having different fonts.
N/B: Be responsible and protect yourself from being scammed!!!!!!
We all have to stay on top of news and stay up to date with the latest sophisticated scams out there. As far as I know, scammers always change their ways to deceive new entrants into the market, they take advantage of the ignorance of many people to successfully execute acts of appropriating property. Currently, there are two types of scams that I want to mention, that is, they will lure you to click and a strange link and then break into the computer to get all the information on it, and the other is a scam. about buying and selling of cryptocurrencies they will create a website about cryptocurrencies and start selling them for no real value.

I'm unfamiliar with ESET32, I think in most cases an anti-virus software would provide such a service for the sake of the security of its clients/users.
ESET is a very popular anti-virus. I've used it and upon researching, it's one of the best anti-viruses out there.

ESET,AVAST,MALWAREBYTES,NORTON etc.. There are lots to choose from but what suits out me the most is ESET.
So far on my experience ive been using these for how many years and my pc wasnt really been infected ever since.
Im aint saying 100% good since im not really a fan on clicking out random links and downloading something suspicious.

Not all antivirus could block out those possible threats thats why your own self awareness and common sense
will really be a good add up.

We should be careful where we drop information about ourselves, especially things like our email: whenever you drop your email on the wrong site online, they're going to sell it to scammers who will then start sending mails to you. That’s why when you check your email most of the times you are always going to see mails that are delivered in your spam inbox, that’s because your email might have been dropped on the wrong site, and then it happens that hackers or scammers have stolen it from that website and now sending messages to you to see if you’re going to fall into their trap.

So, people should be careful what kind of information they are giving out. Sometimes it’s best to have a separate email for doing all those sign-ups.

When I look for a new project, the first thing I look at is the team, whether the team participates in events or comes out in public to show their face. Usually the people behind the scams always use a fake or random photo.
That's why you have to do a research carefully before investing/interacting with certain sites/projects. They can use other people profile pictures and people in here would just believe it without even do a research. I would recommend people to check the website and whitepaper if any for your own sake. It contains crucial information about projects/sites that you are currently "promoting"

Without a doubt your first line of defense is your common sense, after all I understand if people need to install some software on their computers that may be unsafe but if they do so then do not install it in the same computer where you have your wallet, this is why I recommend a hardware wallet, hardware wallets are cheap and for such a small price they allow you to secure your coins to a degree that most people cannot reach on their own.
Common sense is the key but people are really making themselves dumb even it is already too obvious and just like on whats been said that people are neglecting the truth just because of their own greed.
We've been mainly recommending on making use of hardware wallets but people do really just simply neglect or ignore it out and when the time comes that they had been scammed or hacked
then that's the only time they do reconsider. Is this something surprising?

Most of time people do learn something when they had been scammed.
I really think the reason hardware wallets are not as popular as they should be is because people are cheap, they think they can obtain a software wallet for free and as such there is no point in getting a specific device that only does one thing, and while you may think this only happens to those that do not have a lot of money we have seen this happening to people with millions of dollars in bitcoin, so people like that which cannot use their common sense will lose their money sooner or later.
Most of the time, all of them wouldn't really care until losses would happen just because they had missed out on securing their coins and regrets do come in which is something typical on this market.

People wont learn until they had experienced unfortunate events and its true that hardware wallets is something that should really be considered out specially
if you do hold big amount of money.

Spending a few bucks wouldn't really hurt you out and people tends to be that lazy or doesn't really care at all.

Yeah, its a good way to find a scam project. Team is a very important factor. Because scam projects always use fake photos of team members. Besides you can check the whitepaper and roadmap of a project. Plagiarized whitepaper is a good sign of fake project.

Illiteracy is what makes people scammed. Why would you connect your wallet to untrusted websites? Only those who dont know anything about scammers do that. Another thing is that never give your phrase to anyone. No one in any legitimate project would ever ask for your keys. Those who give are just illiterate people who doesn't read, wreck less beings in other terms.

To avoid scams we have to research projects or coin offers that look promising, lots of devs. the pump just a moment ago the coin dropped and died so we must always be vigilant, the easiest thing to avoid scams is to always check in many sources about the ICO project that we will participate in, if in doubt it is better to leave.

Scammers are so advanced now-a-days that they try to convince you in anyway about their ideas so you may be influenced by them and make a quick step according to their planning.
They may take a lot of money from you or may hack your data. Both results in a great loss.
To avoid it the most important thing is to be aware of that the scammers always try to convince you by giving fake gifts of large amount. It nothing more than being stupid to believe on them.

Scammers are everywhere! In order to avoid being scammed always be careful, be cautious, don't trust to anyone and keep your account and wallet safe. Don't share your personal information specially your password and private key to others and don't believe those projects which is too good to be true or those who offer a huge return in your of investment. Many people are greedy or want an instant huge money, so they often fall prey to scammer.
That's where the victims are starting out to be scammed.

If they've seen a project that's too good to be true, they'll believe it and won't do action that will protect themselves. Instead of avoiding those, they're more becoming curious and wanting to know more because there's a huge money that's playing on their mind.

But little did they know, it's a trap by those project makers and that's the reason why many are always a victim of scam because they're too greedy.

The only way to get away from fraudsters is never visit random sites or never fall for anyone claiming to multiple your coins and if you can get away from that there is nothing much to worry.
You mention about two situations but unfortunately there are at least million other methods on which fraudsters might be trying to scam us. Just being cautious on all occasions definitely will help anyone to stay safer against scammers. Usually scammers will try to exploit by inducing our greediness but when we are careful then we can easily avoid such situations.

These days scamming attempts through email and then in the name of online wallet services are becoming in too common for all crypto adapters (weekly once I'm getting one email at least in the name of blockchain.com wallet to verify my identity by providing my password and log-in string).

Many techniques are used by fraudsters to steal our money, the best thing to avoid scams is to store cryptocurrencies in exchanges that implement KYC and activate 2FA which will create a high level of security by activating Google authenticator, so all transactions that occur must be verified with the pin provided by Google .
That is a terrible idea, never store you coins in exchanges, what happens if that exchange is hacked, you will loose your coins and the exchange will close down citing bankruptcy and then what you will do. If you check you will hear about exchanges every year and how can that be a good proposition. The only way to get away from fraudsters is never visit random sites or never fall for anyone claiming to multiple your coins and if you can get away from that there is nothing much to worry.

this may be a very good thing to do to increase the protection of the assets that we have so that they do not change hands easily.
but for now, the most common scammers are taking advantage of their carelessness and lack of knowledge about project monitoring so that they are required to pay to get something,
and of course things like this are still rife and not a few beginners are deceived by this kind of trick.
protection through Autchentichator is indeed very good but it must also be accompanied by our knowledge that is not too focused on greed and fake projects.

An anti-virus indeed helps us much nevertheless it doesn't prevent us from the entire scam, we still need to educate ourselves and are supposed to be aware of it every single time in order we don't fall into the trap.
It does.

Because when it detects an app or a website that contains a malware or any type of virus, it will pop and trigger the alarm on your computer where it is installed to inform you not to proceed.
Indeed, it does. Meanwhile, in my case (with other software) mostly just site's certificate issue since I rarely visit unknown newly sites these days. However, what I mean is scam methods aren't only through malware and that's why I said just installing an anti-virus wasn't enough.
