In other words, don't be dumb. If a random person approaches you and says that he will make you rich, then you know should know its a scam. They will always end up asking you to send them money or do something very shady for them. If you are greedy, you will fall for it and then get scammed. Ask yourself, why would a random person who you never met or know wants to help you? For your money! If any something sounds too good to be true, then you know...

That's basically screening everyone who goes into your life but it's very effective because anyone who contacts usually needs something from you. So if anyone you don't know sends a message, don't let your guard down. You'd be more comfortable if you are the ones who contact them but still don't let your guard down. Scammers today make their pages attractive to newbies.

Never share your seed phrase or private key while using DEX. If a DEX wants your seed phrase or private key, then you have visited the fake site.
These days we often received some fake tokens in our wallet. Don't try to swap it. Because hackers are sending these to your wallet and when you swap them, other tokens will be sent from your wallet.

Simply ignore any anonymous kind of message and verify the source first before making any attempts.
Dont make any attempts because whenever you dont really expect something then all of those who do try to message you does really have some bad intent which you should really be putting it up on auto ignore.

On this way you would really be saving up your ass on getting scammed because people do easily get hooked whenever they do been sent out some good offers or returns which do really poke up someones interest.

Dont be greedy and be aware or at least be having that common sense because this is where people do really lack off on some time.

I think forgot to add the word greed to your context. Greediness is actually what led most investors to fall into scam.

The more we are concerned about this problem, the more they are using new methods to deceive people.  So we must always be aware of our online life and personal data that can be used to harm us or cause losses.
for the actual method, these scammers only use the same method and nothing has changed, because for now the methods used by these scammers are almost the same as you said, even I think for all countries the technique is like that (almost the same ).
the problem is the ignorance of many people, especially those who are really laymen and do not know that this is a fraud because until now there are still many who do not know the techniques and methods used by fraudsters to trick their victims.
maybe I think if as long as we can still tell it or remind people who are new about all forms of fraud that often occur so that people around us are more alert and not easy to be fooled by this kind of thing.

Must we give a reason for scammers to continue scamming us?

The insensitive increase in scamming activities over the decades has been on the increase in most parts of the world.
People have attributed this increase to several factors and yet, despite the awareness gathered, the trend still strives.

One will be eager to ask ways scammers get this done and the ways are:
1. Through your contacts
2. Through social media platforms
3. Through manipulating your electronic mails (email)

Following the increase in this, it is important and necessary to avoid this by;
1. Always do well to avoid too good to be true messages of you winning a prize for what you are sure you never applied for
2. Emails that are linked with your financial affairs should not be used on almost all platforms and links.
3. When you do POS transactions or purchase, ensure you are conscious there is no smart play with your credit or debit cards.
4. Be updated about the lattest trends and techniques been used by scammers in everyday life.
5. Never let greed control you, as greed makes you prone to been scammed.
6. Mind those who you give your phones to make calls and contacts to people you don't know.
7. ALways be conscious, or better still, avoid connecting with Wifi networks as this is a means of extracting your data.
8. Always remember to log off your personal accounts (emails, social media) etc. when you use public cafe' and
9. Report any problem associated with the loss of any of your financial institutions to your banks.
10. Be able to patiently read terms and conditions before saying yes or accepting terms and conditions sent to you.
   Lastly
11. Be able to cross-check emails sent to your phones regarding your financial statements as the messages are clone to,
resemble your banks, but rather having slight changes mostly at the middles with one word having different fonts.
N/B: Be responsible and protect yourself from being scammed!!!!!!

Also, some scammers use other tactics to gain control over their target,
   1. Sending emails with a fake contest-winning message and they will want to know your details Also, they will take you to their phishing site, once you click on their site link they will take control of your device or browser.
   2. Just send blank mail with an attached file or doc.  Never open such docs or fake files from unknown or suspicious emails.
   3. Sometimes scammers mail you sharing an emotional story with you and they will ask for your help, but it is a trap for them to access your data.
   4. Do not join any airdrop/event sent to you from any unauthorized site or unknown email address.

The more we are concerned about this problem, the more they are using new methods to deceive people.  So we must always be aware of our online life and personal data that can be used to harm us or cause losses.

a fraudster always has the latest ways to commit fraud, therefore we must remain vigilant and actively seek information so that fraud that occurs to others does not happen to ourselves. I am very careful in safeguarding my digital assets and I strictly avoid connecting wallets and going to suspicious sites.
I often see this happen, after the wallet is connected the assets in the wallet are sent automatically. this usually happens to airdrop hunters who carelessly get their wallets connected to scam sites. if you want to do that you should use a new wallet or a wallet that does not have assets to avoid things that we don't want.

Don't trust strangers easily. Be prepared for your friends. The corresponding understanding must also be done before investing in the project. Don't invest because of affection.
Just don't put your trust in anyone because your friends can also betray you. Many people nowadays believe that if we talk about money, your friends will be your worst enemy because you trusted them. I read about and witnessed many people being duped by their friends. Because there is money involved, it is best not to fully trust people, regardless of who they are.

Just to add on the extensive list that you created, never fall for projects that offer ridiculously high rates in a short amount of return, AKA "ponzi-schemes." I have seen lots of newbies who got attracted by the interest rates that ponzi-schemes offer and they usually attract people who are not that knowledgeable on how the scam works.

Another thing, make sure that before you try a gambling website or invest in a certain project, always check their domain on whether there website is currently registered or if they are hosting it for free. It is also imperative to know on when their website was created and if such contained all the necessary information about their project. In this way, one can have a clear idea about the project whether if it is a scam or not.

Thanks for your tips, these are really essential for everyone, including those who are not interested in crypto. With the popularity of crypto, there are more and more scams and thefts in cyberspace. We need to be very careful before clicking anything on the internet

We must updatees anti-virus, this is the most important thing if we actively use a PC. This is my experience some time ago when the computer I used for bitcoin transactions had a strange experience, when I copy the bitcoin or ethereum address then when I paste the address it changes, it looks simple but if this happens then canceling the transaction is better.

Some really good ways are mentioned in OP.

I would add one small point from my side.

Always use a different email for exchanges, gambling sites while using a temporary email for airdrops and other tasks where the likelihood of getting spam emails is higher.

I always use a different email for all these airdrops, giveaways, promotional sites, etc because any of them might turn scam later and send phishing emails or even sell the data to another spammer.

OP just shared a very timely and relevant reminders to every trader and investor and I do think that we all here are aware about the increasing number of scammers, scam sites and platform that used to victimize those who are not well-educated yet about those scam sites scattered every where on online world. The losses that these scammers are get from a traders or investors are not tolerable some of those victim take it seriously that also causes serious problem to those victims. In my case I do always check the site links and in my fear of getting scam I used to be very careful in every links or actions that I may take.

Scammers nowadays have learned to manipulate with everything. It’s quit hard to protect from really good hacker, probably even impossible. They know ways to hack accounts (use different programs, viruses, spying worms).  What might give a little chance to protect ourselves from them: never to click doubtful references, to think of complex passwords, to have two e-mails (working and personal), two phone numbers (working and personal), additional comp without internet connection (where you can keep in safe all significant information). And, of course, emotions. We need to control them because most of mistakes people make on emotions. I know some stories when traders received suspicious massage on e-mail with suspicious reference and on emotion click that reference and lose their wallets. Such stories sound for me like fantastic but I understand that this is a sad reality.

No need to "wind up" the situation! First, you need to understand that there are, in fact, 2 options to get your data:
- technological "holes" in the OS, browser, ....
- illogical behavior of a user who is aware of the risks or does not spare his assets.

I will repeat once again a simple set of rules that will minimize your risks by almost 99.9%.

1. Physically separate your main workplace (where you have mail, forums), a site with wallets, a site with mining, etc. At the main workplace, never store logins and passwords from accounts associated with cryptocurrencies (exchanges, google accounts, etc. .NS.)
2. Do not use the same logins and passwords on these different systems, and use complex passwords (at least 12-14 characters).
3. For exchanges, get a separate card for your mobile phone, do not use it anywhere, only for 2FA on exchanges.
4. At the workplace Use antivirus, use online access to GMAIL, update the system, antivirus, applications!
5. On the site where there are wallets - do not use ANYTHING other than wallets.
6. Pre-check wallets in a "sandbox" or on an isolated virtual machine (install and let it work for 2-4 weeks, during this time, as a rule, "bookmarks" are detected)
7. No games, porn sites, "click and get $ 100", sites for "adults", "sites with software and key generators", etc. on any of your devices ...
8. Any letter that arouses suspicion at least a little, or without means of authenticity confirmation - it is better to postpone it, send it to antivirus companies, and go on your own to the site from which the message was allegedly sent to you. For example, if a letter arrives from binance but there is no security code, be sure to add it to spam and send it to antivirus companies for research. Follow the direct link to the site - and if you were sent a message, then a copy of it will be in your notifications about some event.

I can add more rules, but these are already enough to minimize risks

Nice write up which had enlighten me more on the various ways scammers use to scam people. I think there are more to this especially when it comes to cryptocurrency market. A scammer can decide to create fake NFT of a reputable token or developers and decides to sell it to investors who might not be aware of what they are buying. Good research should be made before buying any coin.
