What are some good ways to promote, distribute/sell a new coin? Please list some good techniques, so on and so forth. Thanks again.

Initially, through YouTube channels or through users with good number of followers, a project be it upcoming or existing can be promoted to a larger audience. But overtime, it tends not to be enough thus leading to more of Airdrops, bounties etc. So as a new coin, the first thing is, checking your budget and what you can afford to spend on promotion then going with it. You have to promote first before you can think of selling, this is to make people aware of what your project is all about.
Secondly, once the project is being promoted the team is meant to be working hard as well; if it's to have an MVP or to showcase what is already developed.
Then after a stipulated time, the team can look for an adequate exchange to conduct their IEO, ICO or as the case maybe. If they have their own funds they can still list on adequate exchanges.
Lastly to make the project worth it, the team have to keep developing.

Well, budgeting is always a priority for us to consider and besides that, we should deliver a project that has enough quality and the best promises, many projects come up with unreasonable ideas and do not implement the plans exactly while investors and participants need to validate those issues, focus on reality and know what we own. Returning to the best promise, bonding with a reputable and powerful exchange will be the best promise for the community, finally taking the time to run the campaign and pay the participants in full, all will be the basis for a new project that can come up.

there are many things need to considered before starting your own project, first are you able to make more promotion and release money to use fro advertisement . If you cant have that seriously you will experience the same ICO and you are making a shitcoin.
Investors is always looking for good project not only that but with large community that support the project already before they invest.
For advertisement you have many choices but social media is the best way for promotion for any project.

Wrong direction. First, you develop the project. Make a product,,, grow your community,,, have many working use cases and demand and merchants etc.

THEN you do promotions and advertising and all that.

Make a product. Have a community first of all. Do not do it the other way around!

As long you main feature was really solved the problem of cryptocurrency right now, without spend any amount of money your coins will have some great community and help to promote the coins. I remember went XRB (Nano) was pretty cheap and dont have any exchange only doing P2P transaction for the coins, time by time was passed the coins have a good main use-case transaction with zero confirmation went a lont people realize and coming to be part of the project they doing masive helping to the project. @Bitcoindad paying listing exchange from his own money for nano to crytopia and the owner of Bitgrail creating an exchange for XRB.

From that we can learn, its not about bounty and other things. The good promote its because the community doing their part to promote thats coins.

It depends on your budget. If you want to target crypto traders and investors, you can launch affiliated marketing on crypto-related sites such as bitcointalk, etherscan, CMC, etc. Some exchange platform like Binance does not always consider a project that intends to get promotions through bounty on their launchpad. But there are some decent exchange platforms such as Probit and STEX that you can approach for IEO and I believe you can sell your token for traders. Livecoin is also good but I think they have stopped IEO for now.

There are bounty platforms like bountyhunters.io or you can launch a bounty campaign and airdrop campaign for your projects, you need a good amount of money to do this, and it's not even a guaranty that you will succeed because the ICO market is not doing good right now,

So far, what I can think of the way to promote a new coin to be able to distribute or sell them in a large crowd of potential buyers or investors is to run or launch a bounty campaign or also a signature campaign that will promote a certain coin into different platforms like social media (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc.) to be able to reach the attention of the crowd that a certain new coin do exist. Upon promotion, you must have a full furnished advertisement that will caught the attention of the audience for them to be interested into that coin which also involves the reward for the people who will promote your coin so that they will be fueled to promote the coin and in that manner it will be known by many people even outside this forum because it will be promoted into other platforms targeting and big number of audiences.

For what people need new crypto projects in 2020? There are already too many of them
You're right. We do not need new altcoins in 2020, now is more than enough for us and we only expect the altcoin market to increase this year. Too many altcoins are created but there is no real purpose, most of them are duplicates of altcoins that already exist in this market and that is why so many altcoins die because of its uselessness.
It is true what you say that for now there are indeed many altcoins that are made only duplicate what is already on the old coins and in the end a project like this will slowly disappear and not have. But if someone really wants to make a good project they must consider or have a new innovation that is different from the others with a good product that can attract investors to participate in the project.

New concept needs new people who has the means for the project's realization. CurioInvest  project somehow isn't really that a good concept to me but they do have people in their team that has the right contacts who can help them. Though the project's success today isn't yet final, we are seeing positive signs to the project for now.

New concept means new marketing approach can be done in promoting it to the right investors.

The best form of promotion is by running bounty campaigns to reach out to the crypto community. Or if there are enough funds allocated for promotion, influencers can be helpful. Also AMAs especially on YouTube aids a great deal. Airdrops too go a long way. I'm still trying to figure out what you imply by distribute/sell 🤔 a new coin? If you mean token sale, then for now IEO on a reputable exchange should be the best bet.
Running bounty campaign with higher allocation reward for bounty participants are best and most effective way how to promote your ICO or your project coin, many bounty campaign participants can promote your coin around the world with social media campaign and using signature campaign with bitcointalk account, but you have allocated higher reward for bounty campaign participants.

Distribution and promotion are totally different things and what you will use the money for that you will eventually need and get by selling it also depends on how you distribute and promote as well.

The most common method nowadays that horrible small noone has ever heard of coins are using is basically just have airdrops and bounties, print millions of coins out of nowhere, tell people to work for that new printed coin that worths nothing, give them thousands upon thousands even millions of that coin that worths nothing and can't be exchanged anywhere, after that start approaching exchanges and try to get listed in horrible places and as soon as you are listed there, try to keep the coin alive as much as you can and as soon as that first initial dump happens, try to slowly sell all your coins or at least most of it and make a ton of money and exit scam.

Thats literally what %90+ of the new coins do but thankfully not many of us hear about them since they happen so quickly.

in a management the promotion that can generate interest must be in place, so if doing a promotion about crypto must be in the crypto place as well as in the way of other project promotion management. and the distribution problem, I think, depends on its own management, which is certainly different.

To promote new coins make sure you have a good project and also working product,

And after that make announcement thread here in forum and some other forum so that they will have a idea already.  Launch bounty campaign and pay rewards in coins or tokens that already listed in market.  Like bitcoin and ethereum so that you will get more bounty participants and popularity. List your coins in trusted ico /ieo reviews .
Not only that, he should make sure that he has a long term plan for the project. It will be useless if it is only good from the start and won't last for how many years.

To make it short, hire bounty hunters to promote the project, spread the words about it since it is one of the best way to promote especially when it comes to cryptocurrency.

There are so many ways to promote your new coin and the most famous thing to do is by an airdrop or bounty. Some other techniques you can do is by making your chat an active one, try to do a contest by being active and the reward is your coin. Or you can hire some community managers to help you manage the chat or social medias and pay them your coin.

Are you one from the project team or a bounty hunter? I am just asking this question because if you are a bounty hunter then you know the current situation of bounty campaigns. We have tried all these things and some are effective but it depends on how the campaign will be funded and if the campaign was well-managed.

the best way to do promotion? in my opinion the best promotion is to cooperate with exchanges that have many users such as binance or kucoin. this is indeed very difficult to do but if they succeed there will be many investors who will be interested in investing. if only promoting on this forum wouldn't be enough for me.

I think all of the techniques were already provided above and I agree, doing airdrops, bounty campaigns, ads and all would be effective, but the real question is, who will initiate it? who are the target customers? of course, those who are in crypto but how about targetting new ones? it really depends on the team who handles the marketing if the project's exposure will succeed or not.
