I agree. We are not the owners of this planet but we are given the responsibility to take care of it and nurture it.

No one has given humans the responsibility to take care of this planet. Our planet can take care of itself, and if there is less human interference then it will be even easier. Human-induced changes have resulted in a large number of negative consequences for the planet.

Humans may have totally over taken the planet earth but that doesn't means that we are the owners of this planet. Being the most intelligent species comes with responsibilities. We have urbanized this planet. n other words we have destroyed the home of many species. Biodiversity is way more important for our survival than we realize.  We should let other live if not for them but ourselves.

Yes your true we are not the owner of this planet, but people acting like they own it, they destroying the nature as if no ones living in there Sad im so sad that people who live in the planet , and also they are the one who destroying it.

True, us owning the planet is a very self entitled thinking solely because us as a species is the smartest and could very well "use" the resources of this planet. We do not own the planet. We are merely leasing it. The planet (mother nature) could kill us off by mutating a virus to just kill off humans. We forget that the planet could survive without humans and it's living species in it. But we could never live much less survive without a planet. So let's take of it

I agree. We are not the owners of this planet but we are given the responsibility to take care of it and nurture it. God created this world and as His creation and highly favored one, He has given us this task so we must comply because this is also for the good of mankind. If Nature and mankind can become one, this world will become a better place to live for our future generations.

We are not the owner but rich people own it like they are the ones who created it. Then they build tall skycrapers,  shopping districts, condos and never care about how it affects the nature. Let's just pray that there's another habitat for us because this planet is destined to be remove from existence because of those people.

Why blame the rich? Are you sure that you have never visited any of the sky-scrappers? And don't tell me that if someone gives you a condo for free, then you are going to refuse it. Here, your jealousy is getting mixed up with your genuine concerns. If we want to save the planet, then everyone should make the effort, and it is not just the responsibility of the rich.

We have dominated the planet, isn't that the real plan was? If the dinosaurs are still the one who dominated up to now, we may have been hiding under the caves like flintstones with our computers dependent to the home made bagdad batteries. WE ave to rule the world or someone else would.

We have already destroyed our very own planet. We don't have the power to bring back the our old planet. Wherein, we see abundant forests. Rich minerals that can be found in the mountains. Awesome discoveries of new species that can also be found under the oceans. Nowadays, we have made our climate to be change. Our typhoons and hurricanes are much stronger than before, it is strong enough to devastate a whole region of a country. Our forests are not abundant with the trees because of deforestations. We have less minerals found in the mountains if the mountaineers go mining. So what are we going to do to make our own planet better again? As a youth, I will be a advocate for the next generation, to set their minds about how they gonna save our planet for them to live longer and to enjoy the beautiful nature of our Mother Earth.

We may not be the owners, but we certainly have become the "Sheppards" of the planet. I agree, we do have a responsibility to not utter and totally destroy it.
We are definitely not the shepherds of this planet at all, if we were, we would not be destroying almost everything on the planet, we are cutting down all the trees and poisoning the same rivers that we are drinking and poisoning the very soil we grow the things that we eat in.

It is true, some of us - humans think that we own this planet and that we have rights to do whatever we want with this , even destroying it. Everything here in our planet, even us is made by our creator, God. He made us superiors from all other creatures and he gave us knowledge for us to take good care of this planet, and not to destroy it like what's happening right now.
And yes we should know how to take good care of our planet. It's not yet late, if we start today, we can still save our planet, we can still save everyone. We need to change in order to save our planet, and this change must start with ourselves. Let's be discipline enough to know what's good for our planet Earth.

Absolutely yes, we are not the owner of the planet but we are the inhabitants of the mother earth. Human beings is the responsible in every activity produce by what the matters. Planet earth is the most beautiful planet in the universe. As far as I know planet earth is the perfect home land for the human. As years pass by, the ancestors pass by too, the stones in the middle of the earth changes the way it was form. The plants comes to seldom, the animals slowly to abolish because of human population increasing. Everything was gone on this planet is done by human. We are the one can solve it hopefully.

I agree. But unfortunately people are so selfish. They don't think about the future of the planet, the typical thought - "other generations will solve all the problems and we will live like we want" Sad

We are just one species living on earth!
There are many other species on this planet that we live with on this planet!
Humans only live in harmony with them!
There are still many unknowns in the world to explore.

I think yes that we are not the owner of this planet because God create this planet and he share it to us to make it beautiful and maintain it in how God create things.

^ ^  Great example of idiot shitposter who only reads the first comment then responds about their fairy tale.

As this forum attracts the dredges of humanity, posts like this are becoming more common.  Obviously those who live in poorer countries will be attracted to this forum, but they are also poorly educated and therefore brainwashed.

This used to be a place with intelligent discussion.  Sad

I own a little piece of the planet for as long as I am alive, and it is socially acceptable for me to kill anyone who comes on said land against my will.

What if the government authorities ask you to vacate your land, with or without adequate compensation? My family lost almost 600 acres of land six decades ago, when the local communist government implemented the land reforms act. They took land from the big land-holders and distributed it to the landless peasants. And we received no compensation for the land we lost. What can we do? If we go to the court, the legal battle will wage on for many decades and the chances are that we will never win it.

That is a really sad story... People think who have vast lands conquered it only by abusing others, but it may not be true. Many people conquered their wealthy and became rich by working hard and being smart enough to save money and invest it on the right opportunities. And then, a communist (that have never built anything on his life) comes and take everything from this person. In this case there isn't "historical debt".

To prevent this to happen the communists disarm the population, so they nuke any resistance possibility, and once it's done and everyone gives in their weapons, you can't shoot who enters your lands against your will.  Sad

More than taking care of the nature, our cities, houses and planet, we need to take care our individual liberties aren't restrained!

Not much I can do when an organized group decides they want what I own.
