Ours is a finite earth. we need to remember that principle
I would not worry so much for the planet. The Earth has happily survived several mass extinction events, with over 99% of creatures dying in those occasions, it does not really matter what we do to the planet, in the long term the planet doesn't notice it at all.
One day the planet will sneeze all humans will be no longer
We are not the owner of this planet, so we must take good care of it. We must take responsible in our own actions. Like now, some of our forest doesnt have enough trees, animals were already endangered, and in some places quality of air is not good..Let us be concerned with our environment, if not, our future generation will not have a chance to see the real beauty of earth.
I disagree with the title of the topic but i can say that all living things are the owners of this planet, as the highest intelligent form of life we as humans should help to preserve and protect the nature that is blessed to us along with other species.

According to Genesis account from the Bible. God created heaven and earth (our planet) and after all His creation He put man in charge of it. So I think we are indirectly the owners of this planet since God mandated us to.

I agree to this statement. That is why I really hate those people who drive away animals just because they want to build something in those animals habitat. For me, Earth should be shared equally. Even for man rich people should not own a lot of land.
Have a go at advising this to the vast majority of the general population living on this planet. They will take a gander at you like you are the insane one and that this world is theirs for the taking. Here and there the level of qualification among us people is down right disturbing. Continue spreading the message and I will as well. One individual at any given moment we will gradually change this planet and we will one day take great care of it. Humans should be more wise in how they treat the planet and all the species inhabiting it. We have indeed destroyed the home of many species, but these destructive tendencies are in our nature. Earth, how much as we mistreat it will do fine and humans can't last forever on this sphere.
I think in the future we will learn and focus more on how to live in harmony, we have been in a survival mode for very long and we are slowly moving away from a survival mode into a more harmonious way of living. Accumulation, money, idea-ology's; they aren't satisfying.
That' true, but unfortunately, many people are quite ignorant with the fact that they are not helping to preserve the planet, more so destroying it with the things they do. we live on this earth we actually have to share with plants and animals, because this earth does not belong to human beings it is in my opinion. because most humans just make the damage like mining that is very damaging to the environment. let's keep this earth better than ever.

I disagree, this world really belongs to us, of we can see this world ia so perfectly made and designed for us humans living in it, every single organism in this world has its contribution to run the world and not destroying it, the only thing that damage the earth is our hand made inventions.
