Even in today's modern world, except for a few people in Europe-America, the general public of the entire world does not have a proper understanding of Bitcoin. Sad Sad Except European-American, anyone who have a little idea about Bitcoin also have misconceptions. Due to this problem, many people are unable to invest in a great platform like Bitcoin even if they want to. This problem may not seem like a big deal to many, but think about third world countries. A sad reality is, in my country 80-90% of the population are not familiar with Bitcoin.
Is there any way to solve this problem?
There is really a lot of ways to make them educated on bitcoin but they should have the due diligence so they can achieve maximum learning in bitcoin. With free internet worldwide, that alone is a big help so that people will stay updated and aware of what is happening all over the world. And when it comes to innovations, people should learn to appreciate than underestimate it, and it will only happen if they become completely educated on bitcoin.

I had created a thread More Awareness needed, 100$ or Bitcoin??? and we had the discussion about a video in which people looked to be westerners were asked a question and the response were into discussion.

It is true that there is not much of awareness experienced around. Whether it is Western nation or other part of the world, everywhere it is almost the same. Some part of every country have got good number of people aware about bitcoin and services/acceptance of bitcoin can be seen accumulated on specific regions. This needs to change and it takes time as the real learning isn't possible in a day.

^Let it be, let the word BTC will spread across different countries.
That is right, we don't have proper education but when people heard about BTC and made them confused, they can simply search for it on the internet. It is self-educating about BTC because you also invest with your own risk. I don't think we are still on 80-90 percent, the awareness of BTC has been spread out, considering we are still in the early stage which BTC will lost last enough to adopt more investors. The reason could be, not all have an internet connection.

People can actually invest if they want to. With all the available resources online and are even free, people can be educated if they have the strong will and eagerness to learn all about bitcoin and how it can be profitable for us. But if they tend to be lazy to do it on their own, well they can’t expect for the government to educate them since bitcoin is still not totally adopted as a legal currency. They have to do the initiative if they don’t want to remain naive and ignorant.

Let me announce to you that you're wrong, we cannot assume everyone is wrong and everything they do about bitcoin is also a misconception, we all have a different approach on the way we use bitcoin, how we see it and what we believe it is, but it would have been more convenient for people to learn first and understand about bitcoin because this is why many other countries have been taught about and learnt from, abd bitcoin isn't only adopted in a particular region but across the universe.
He is speaking from his own angle, maybe the place where he is residing, they don't really know about Bitcoin, because from his speech,he sounds so sure that most people of the world don't really know about Bitcoin, and we can just blame him for not been current, because if he was reading,he would know that Bitcoin has really gone viral, and almost every body know about bitcoin. All that is left now is people that have known how Bitcoin works and how good it is will take it to their different localities to tell people about it.It is good to organise seminars at villages, cities, and the different places that are not too developed,so that they will have a chance to also make money. The only issue Bitcoin is facing now is the fact that some person's who don't really know about it see it as scam,If all the persons who see it as scam have a different conception about it,then I can tell you that almost everyone have known about BTC.

I think that the problem will solve itself out in the near future as Bitcoin becomes more and more adopted. Although I would prefer to see it all happen a bit faster, personally.

Right now we are in the early times when people who do self-research on Bitcoin and then invest in Bitcoin are the ones who will be majorly rewarded in the long term before everyone else catches up. The earliest adopters already have proven this. Although back in 2009-2012 Bitcoin was a very niche thing and not everyone had heard of it, so its understandable that not everyone had the chance to know about it.

Nobody will be allowed to make the excuse of why they did not research and invest in 2023, though...

i remember there are already some universities offering blockchain courses, i'm sure they are also going to cover BTC in thier discussions. for now, the ones that has can be relied on was Antonop's book like The Mastering BTC. that's the closest thing to proper education i guess and then reading the whitepaper. one thing that i see is that its not read by the newcomers since we're all up to trading and making money.

You are correct that many people still do not understand what bitcoin is and how it works, especially in third world countries. However, there are ways to solve this problem.
The first way is education and information. Many organizations and communities around the world are working to provide people with correct information about Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies. These efforts can help people better understand what bitcoin is and how to use it.
The second way is to simplify the process of using bitcoin. Some companies and startups are working to make using bitcoin easier and more accessible to people. For example, many bitcoin wallets have a simple and straightforward interface, which can make the process of using bitcoin less intimidating for beginners.
Of course, all these efforts require time and resources, but they can help solve the lack of understanding of bitcoin and expand its use in the world.

If you live in a multilingual society, I think that one of the best ways to teach bitcoin for proper understanding is to
- teach it in the local language: People may understand it more when you pass the knowledge using their local languages which is the medium of communication.
- translate bitcoin resources such as pamphlets, flyers tutorials, and books into the local language and distribute them.
- you may also strike up a partnership deal with Binance or any exchange that is in your country to create awareness. While you have the grass root strategy, they have the resources to reach a wider audience.
If you do this, then you would have solved 50% of the problem of proper bitcoin/ cryptocurrency education.

Cryptocurrencies are considered as a niche topic in which not everyone knows about its existence. Though that may be the case, slowly, its reputation is gaining more traction and attention as compared a few years ago. Maybe the reason on why its popularity is increasing is due to the pandemic in which everything became online.

We cannot force anyone to know and learn about cryptocurrencies due to its technicality and complexity. Even if everyone knows about it, still, we still have to convince them about its investment opportunities and I find this more challenging than ever.
I also really don't like to force someone to adapt something that they do not understand, I only sharing my knowledge that I got from studying and researching to someone who really interested to learn about bitcoin and cryptocurrency. There is also a big misconception when it comes to crypto and bitcoin in my community but I never debate regarding it or straightening their thinking because we should not force them on something that they do not want. One of the problem nowadays is the scammers who are using crypto and bitcoin to deceive a lot of peope and for me it is the reason why the branding of bitcoin is not yet that good for those normal people whose knowledge is not enough. I' really a big believer that proper education not only for the student but also for the adults about what is bitcoin, how it works, its benefits, its technology and many more can straightening their thinking and they will start becoming interested not only to make investment but also to use it in their daily lives. Luckily the social media is becoming more popular and a lot of content creators are now creating topics about BTC that can help to spread its awareness.

maybe in developed countries you could say it's normal if they don't pay too much attention to btc, right' because they are definitely busy with technology.

but in my opinion education about cryptocurrency we should find out because if we don't find out when will we get quality cryptocurrency education.

because for now there are very few schools that teach about crypto.
Cryptocurrency is for everyone but don't just invest or trade without knowing what you investing, you need knowledge about cryptocurrency, how to trade, know the risk and reward and others stuff, If you invest without knowing that you really lose such money, that's bad because you don't know how cryptocurrency works so before everyone enter in crypto world, make sure you research or you have knowledge.

Crypto is not for everyone since there are few people don't know how to handle their investments and they can't control their emotions that's why they create wrong decision which cause them a lot of money lose in their hands. For this type of people they need to avoid crypto since this is high risk investment if they think about this is an investment. But for people who can handle the pressure and stress then this might be good for them, they need to be more consistent to get more knowledge then became a more better trader or a investor.

Lol, of course Bitcoin is not educated, Governments still don't know what to do with it. Some ignore it, some try to ban it, some are trying to work with it, and sometimes one country goes through the whole cycle. Crypto is a niche, and it may not go mainstream at all.

Why people might not be familiar with Bitcoin is because they are unfamiliar with the technology. Bitcoin is a digital asset based entirely on blockchain technology, which can be difficult to understand for those without a strong technological or financial background. However, with adequate education and understanding, most people can understand the concepts and benefits of Bitcoin.

Everyone has different goals in buying and owning Bitcoins. Some may buy Bitcoins as a long-term investment, while others may use Bitcoins for payments or other transactions. It is important to understand that Bitcoin has the potential to serve as an efficient and inexpensive global tender, as well as an investment asset with significant profit potential.

However, it is important to remember that Bitcoin is still considered a very risky and speculative asset. Regulations regarding Bitcoin and other crypto assets are still not well established in many countries, and some countries have banned the use and trading of Bitcoins. However, several countries have accepted Bitcoin as legal tender and have introduced regulations that have enabled the growth of the crypto industry. Maybe because of this also why many countries are not familiar with bitcoin as experienced in your country.

That's why it's so important that adequate education and understanding, as well as good risk management, Bitcoin can be an attractive investment option for some people in every country.

Nothing is bad when we all rise up to take it our own personal responsibility in teaching others about bitcoin at all cost, this may involves our financial commitment as well as time also, but when we like doing what we want, we make others feels happy by teaching them and seing them doing well in life by the impact from bitcoin adoption, when they invested and have this joy, they will never regret going through the educational process as well, many loose because they lack knowledge on bitcoin in full.
Agreed, we need to take responsibility and keep sharing about the goodness about bitcoin. This is how we can spread the goodness of bitcoin. Maybe it is hard to make people believe in it as well as understand. Once they've given a try and experienced the goodness, automatically the same person will share his experience. This is how the spread about bitcoin have happened from its day of existence. Something good will always be shared and there is no need of advertising. Spread through word of mouth is a trusted advertising than a Hero/heroine doing it for money.

I believe proper or formal education is not a necessity right now, we can learn as much as we want through our due diligence scrolling all over the internet. Those who succeed in bitcoin were never had proper education on bitcoin, and yet they still managed to survive from its high volatility and now earning high digits from bitcoin. So having no proper education is not a hindrance, if you really want to learn, as long as you have the high interest and determination to learn, learning will always be possible.
Those who succeed did a lot of effort to earn in Bitcoin, I knew people who didn't sleep when they monitor the price of Bitcoin before in early 2017, some take watching YouTube studies seriously and others take time to read here in forum. It's a self progress and study on how we will be able to earn in crypto. We must know how much we can risk and UpTo when we can hold into it as the price is too volatile. We will be the one who will decide when to buy and sell so we must find way to know it even in our own research.

that is true as most of us don't have formal education in this market. we learn from this market by reading and by experience. there's no overnight success on this market. though few got their lucky streaks but that's not for all.
these days, some younger gen can already acquire their formal education when it comes to crypto and blockchain technology as schools and universities are integrating some related blockchain courses. however, do take note that most forum users have no such formal courses taken and yet they are very capable of delivering such expertise. because we can study this subject on our own and we can enrich our expertise via applying it on our daily crypto related activities.
