There are many exchange in which they accept Fiat money for BTC. .016 BTC is about right for 10 USD. Now 1$ is worth .017 BTC. I know several wallets have the service of serving 2 kinds of wallet where you can interchange them directly with your account. 1 wallet for the BTC and one for the FIAT very useful when you want to avoid losing the BTC you can change it to a stable fiat money. Therefore gaining more btc and changing it back when it is higher again.

In my country can purchase Bitcoin via some exchange purchase, or buy BTC-e code, then purchase Bitcoin via BTC-e.com. Do not buy directly from Coinbase and the large site exchange

i believe best is buy bitcoin locally with local bitcoin site. it will be very easy to to access and exchange . And also you search any local company wallet online exchange may give this buying bitcoin options ,it will be very easy options or else so many exchange sites which will offer that service.
locally buying bitcoins might be really hard in my opinion, it is better to use some online exchanges as they are usually really reliable and i have never had any problems with it

For me it always depends on what country you are living but mainstream people are buying bitcoin in coinbase where they can use their credit/debit card but if you are from philippines then why don't you try to use coins.ph because it is more reliable and it is easy to use coins.ph now is partner with some banks where you can deposit your sells and where you can withdraw your money thru remitance centers

If I have to buy bitcoins then I will prefer to buy it from localbitcoins as its very convenient and safe for me and I hold good experience with it so I will prefer to continue with the same.
I would concur. I have had several transactions on localbitcoins from users that have over 1000+ trust and 100% feedback and there's no problem at all.

The other similar service is BTC2BID but with some enhancements, I guess. As they are new, I could not find more number of buyers and seller with them in my city. If someone shares how they are working and any specific advantages over localbitcoins would be more helpful for this community too.

There are lots of bitcoin exchange that you can buy bitcoins.  And I guess there are different bitcoin exchange in different country.  Most popular are xapo and coinbase.  I always hear them and read them in every thread.   Be careful though as some are not licensed.

I think almost all exchangers do not have a license, but in contrast to Coinbase that have a legal agreement with the countries where they operate and it is certainly a little help people who are afraid to be deceived if bought at any bitcoin exchanger. I personally use a wide variety exchanger, because I only invest with money that is already ready to disappear any time (of course I do not want to lose the least) hehe thanks

My experience with buying bitcoin (BTC) started August the 7th. I was wandering if there's a way of securely purchasing bitcoins, I started searching on the net and I found that you can buy bitcoin directly from the Xapo website. At first I was a little bit skeptical but I tried to buy 10 USD anyway. I sent the wire transfer and I waited... Surprisingly yesterday ( 3 days after the wire transfer) I received 0.016-ish BTC on my wallet! So if you are wanting to buy some bitcoins I recommend purchasing them on Xapo.
Thanks.
I purchased bitcoin with xapo, they make the job fast and low fees

I was searching for places where we can buy bitcoin, however I did not find good results for online buying, I mean by good websites that are trustable and have low fees.
But in my minds better for choosing local exchanged because their service just covered your local area maybe the fees will more reduce rather than buying from the foreign site. but like me I have someone always provides a service for me and he just charge very little fees I I wanna selling my bitcoin into him.
Aside from local exchangers, there are also online exchangers that you can buy bitcoins from.
Localbitcoins too if you want to try negotiating with the seller if possible and if you prefer multiple ways of transaction / payment option like with fiat and person to person transactions are possible here. I prefer anonymous way of buying which is more secured in my view as I am paying them with fiat and almost instant.

It will depend on which country you are living in which exchange is user friendly for you, as I am buying it from localbitcoins since I am into bitcoin, and all the traders are trusted people and there is no chance of getting scammed.

agree. it's better to buy bitcoins from local exchanger or traders because it will make you easier.

I myself never buy bitcoin, but in my country, people prefer buy bitcoins on local exchanger because the process just needs a day long.

Yup, it does a lot more to do and wear. Because using the local exchange then we will save the cost of the transaction or which obviously we will know the place of exchange. In addition the local exchange would certainly give convenience in each transaction than the exchange world
Are there local exchangers in all countries?
Just a simple question because I believe there may be some countries that does not even have any local-bitcoin exchangers.
You can use localbitcoins too though if there's a chance you can't access exchangers. Although there are some risks like scam.

I guess the cheapest way is to do a SEPA transfer to an exchange like kraken and buy there at the actual bitcoin rate.

Most services that are a bit easier to use charge much higher fees when making the purchase. The only thing is that they are faster as you have to wait for your SEPA transfer to go through.

It usually doesn't take more than few days before your money is credited, so I would go for that option if I were you.

Bro I Recommend You Localbitcoins.com Because you Can Buy Bitcoins from Users Here No Need To Pay Money To Website and Your Trade Completes in Only 5 Minutes.....
but its not necessary that evertime your trade will go fast. it depends upon the seller- how much responsive and active he is. so you cannot say that LBC is the fastest method for trading.
Also Here Is Very Low Fees Sometimes No Fees Is Charged so You Can Buy As Much as You Like.......
wrong. imho, none of the sellers on LBC do 1:1 trades. and believe me, majority of the traders on LBC also put very high fees, so you will have a hard time finding a seller with low fees.
edit: the best place to buy or sell bitcoins is this forum itself. btw, thats just my opinion.

that is not called fee. fee is the fixed or a percentage based amount that the site owners take from you in return for offering you the service. so unless I am missing something here, what you are talking about is not fee. it is only the price that people on localbitcoins website set for their orders to make a big profit from the spread.

Yes, it can be fine but may not work in many cases such as online buying or if you are not at the place where you could find the local guy whom you do exchange with them.
But whether buying from the local exchange is not included on the online buying categorize? maybe, average people will suggest to buying from coinbase, localbitcoin and another but I don't know for certainly the fees on that site, maybe visit and reading their faq is better.
