When the government sees that quite a lot of money passes through its citizens, which they do not control, they will decide on the full legalization of cryptocurrency.  At the same time, it is impossible to speak of a total ban of cryptocurrencies in the world, since any government will meet with great resistance from humanity.

I think bitcoin will be accepted my most people in 10 years but i'm not sure if all in every country will because no matter how good the currency there will always some people against it but who knows maybe just maybe. Bitcoin has increased popularity and 10 years is still a long way to go so we really can't tell as of now.
I wont say bitcoin has gained a huge popularity in the last 10 years, more correctly the first 10 years of bitcoin, but I do am bullish about the next few years for crypto.

There has been mainstream mentioning about crypto and how much it can affect our economic systems if used in the proper manner. Now if government see anything bad in it that they feel is going to help in monye laundering then we can fight against it but it would be futile. The few people who can influence their decision are the big companies who actually run these countries.

Bitcoin and governing don't go together.

I think bitcoin will be accepted my most people in 10 years but i'm not sure if all in every country will because no matter how good the currency there will always some people against it but who knows maybe just maybe. Bitcoin has increased popularity and 10 years is still a long way to go so we really can't tell as of now.

Every country uses bitcoin. All you need is a device and an internet connection.

Rather look to a decentralized solution where is people have a shareholding of different things that we need to build our society and keep it functioning.

not so simple was the outside world.  It is necessary to initially change the state system so that people can be morally, physically and financially independent.  The state is always trying to control everything connected with a person and punishes those who are undesirable.  Based on this, full-fledged legalization of cryptocurrency will occur only under the complete control of the cryptocurrency by the world government.
I think the governments of the world have a lot more things to handle at the ground level like poverty, healthcare, education, defense and economics than to think about a cultist monetary system which is having no physical existence. However they do meddle into the affairs of crypto when law enforcement starts to see money laundering among them.

Basically the governments extort money from every business out there and use their law enforcement as a tactic to scare them. This is just a part of being in this world, you have to follow it and you have to pay your taxes for that and at times additional bribes. Making a crypto/public ledger based system would make these illegal transactions public and that is not something any political leader ever wants. Wink

If we have a centralized authority, it will go against the very principle of decentralization which is the backbone of Bitcoin. Obviously we are facing a lot of challenges from the government. But forming an authority to control Bitcoin is not the way to move forward. We are sufficiently united behind Bitcoin and within that framework we can work for the betterment of cryptocurrency.

Who would actually be responsible for doing it? Remember that if you have establish a government there should have to be someone who will be acting as the leaders and eventually they are  all subject to following local government rules.

Consider the fact how the current government reacts to the uncontrollable bitcoin will you think that they are going to agree with it. Keeping bitcoin as decentralized as it is right now is actually the best choice the Satoshi have ever done (To keep our security) and to keep bitcoin being controlled by someone else that might abuse the power. Unlike having the current situation in which there is no one who can control it.

We do not need a Bitcoin government. It betrays the very foundation of Bitcoin. Bitcoin does not want power to be focused on a central body such as a Bitcoin government. Thus, the decentralization principle it seeks to uphold. Anything that is created to govern is not in line with Bitcoin philosophy. Decentralization is the key here.

"the bitcoin government" in my opinion is interesting, the benefit is that we can get more support to access bitcoin. Even hunting for more than that is very permissible, because the government certainly supports it. but it's not that easy, the government and bitcoin are difficult to unite, depending on each country.

According to my opinion, there is no need of any bitcoin government.. people will  manage  the bitcoin with their own way.. so no need of any rules and regulations and any bitcoin  government..

We can do better without any bitcoin government.. so no need of any government.. well rules and regulations are necessary for everyone...
A governance is needed for any system to work properly and ensure reduction in different forms of abuse. Fortunately that is not possible for bitcoin as a transaction system. So there is no need for any central authority to watch over it. However the thing that is needed is a bit of regulation among the different companies associated with bitcoin, such as miners, service providers, exchanges and news media. All these working together will keep the ecosystem healthy and reduce the bunch of fake news and FUD that get posted in several places by delusional trolls.

However that is far from what is happening and thus I dont see the massive FUD that happens with every bear market to ever reduce.

A Bitcoin government would only defeat its very purpose. It would only make Bitcoin much like the governments that we have right now, something that is centralized, oppressive, and greedy. In the first place, Bitcoin is here as a kind of protest of what the governments and the banks represent.

It seems to me that the government and Bitcoin are a bit incompatible.  because Bitcoin is not backed up by anything and no one influences it. As for me, I believe that the government should appear then when the cryptocurrency and it is Bitcoin that will become the world currency.
Maybe what is meant is crypto currency issued by the government. If so, that means crypto issued by the country is compatible with official fiat currencies. The effect is that the exchange rate that occurs will parallel the exchange rate of the currency.
Then, the government can intervene in the crypto owned through the central bank to prevent prices from being out of control.

I don't think that there is any point of having a bitcoin government. Bitcoin is fine just like now. And I'm afraid the government might actually do something bad about bitcoin since they will have power over it. We want it to be decentralized and have centralized exchanges that actually supports cryptocurrencies.

Bitcoin is not a state to have government. What kind of idea is that? Besides Bitcoin is functioning on principles of decentralization so every atempt to create some centralized body that would rule it is against its nature.
Sometimes I really think that some people here don't have a clue what they are talking about.

Hello guys
 Roll Eyes
I just wanted to discuss - *DO WE NEED BITCOIN GOVERNMENT?*

Let's just put it in a simple way Bitcoins is being harassed by the governments , the banks , the private sector , the bulls , the investors and it's just something that we cannot control.

What if we had a government for Bitcoins to support it , to legalize it like some normal currency , off course while keeping it's main points strong and not converting that into fiat.

What if it was accepted into the normal currency system?
I would like to say that I understand already that it's not just a currency , it's a store house of value , it's more than that, but integrating this currency 2.0,  Cheesy would not only increase it's stability but would also give the users rights.

And to do all this we need something like a Bitcoin government , which will support it ,legalize it , purse the lawsuits , give the users rights .

It will make Bitcoin something that every fiat worshipping government and off course banks and all , will more or so accept ( forcefully though) but let's face it ,it will be still better than the dictatorship in North Korea and no one says anything about it -_- why would this matter to them ? As long as we are not Harming others.

We just need a integrated environment because let's face it there are 111 out of 251 regions where Bitcoins is legal and to make it global everlasting integrated crypto currency , we do need all of these 251 regions to agree to this ( if not all then 90% the least )
I think that this "government" will consist only of interested people. It’s not worth counting on the fact that this “government” will take in itself representatives from ordinary people-enthusiasts who will really be anxious and want justice. Therefore, the scenario of such an ideal Bitcoin government is a true utopia.

Bitcoin government will never happen and even if it does happen it's gonna be so bad that we would wish it never happened. The only possiblity I see of this happening is.. If every single country makes Bitcoin legal and give more attention to it.

Freedom is a beauty of Bitcoin but sometimes this freedom demands a parallel regulatory system to avoid the scams and misuse of this digital asset and for that Bitcoin government can work as an option.

We need to destruct the current government in order to create what you are trying to impose. And that means contradicting with their whole nation including their cultures. Maybe far from our current time there could be an opening, well fi we are still alive. A ruined country that no ones want to take over anymore and there you begin your legend and create a Bitcoin government.
In my opinion, the bitcoin government will never exist, because bitcoin is not owned by any government, and will be a secondary currency because there is no physical. The main currency remains in each country in cash.
Therefore bitcoin is the world currency that can be traded on crypto exchanges in each country or traded globally.
