I don't think it's possible since having a bitcoin government loses the idea of decentralization. Having a government to lead bitcoin has its pros but also cons. It means, putting someone to have control over bitcoin and its against its nature as decentralized.

At this recent situation banks and bitcoin herein my locations is have a good relationship I use to convert  my bitcoin into bank so I don't think bank harass bitcoin.
For the bitcoin government I disagree because bitcoin being decentralized and their anonymity no need to control bitcoin become centralized.

Having a bitcoin government simply means going against the initial idea in which bitcoin was formed in the first place which is having a decentralized system where everyone gets to their wealth. With bitcoin government, there will surely be some rules which will definitely bring up some restrictions and control. So its best for bitcoin to continue to exist the way it is. For now we have so many people attacking it with negativity but then bitcoin will pull through.

Bitcoin does not really need an institutional body to act as the control the body to make people understand the purpose and nature of Bitcoin.  Decentralization in the Bitcoin ecosystem means everybody has the freedom to transact directly with anyone without restrictions. Having a Bitcoin government is basically centralization of the Bitcoin ecosystem, which goes against the true nature of Bitcoin and decentralization.

Bitcoin as a currency good but if we talk about bitcoin government i don't think whether the world will accept that or not and now people are doing investment and they hold it because they knows the importance of the market and it s values in the present time so bitcoin government is good if there is the community who have the crypto.

If a bitcoin government need to emerge, each and everything needs to be linked on the blockchain. If that happens each and everything will be transparent and through the same it won't be easy for anymore corruption and for any misuse of the positions headed. Surely this will make each and every country to get shrunk and work for the people. Bitcoin government is good in one way, but this too will have lot of negative effects which we can find on thorough research.

Government, banks and others doesnt harass bitcoin. Well in fact they are the ones who cultivate it. Those ten countries who banned it are just like that and we cannot do anything about it. The ratio 111:10 is better knowing a large portion of the world is into cryptocurrency and even those 10 countries are powerful, we can afford to still use it as a currency. On the other hand, we dont need to make it centralized if this is what you are talking about. Crypto is known to be decentralized and it works that way. We dont have to change it. The ones who needs to adjust is us, the government and not the cryptosystem itself.
I agree, when the government cannot legalize bitcoin, then we must be able to adjust to the government. But if bitcoin is legalized by the government, the government must be able to adjust to bitcoin itself.
The bitcoin system does not need to be changed, but the government and us must adjust it

On my own opinion we really need to have a bitcoin government. It will give us some limitations but I know it is better because it can add some security and some policity for our protect our bitcoin and every bitcoin transactions but I think this will be a long process to build bitcoin government.

Hello guys
 Roll Eyes
I just wanted to discuss - *DO WE NEED BITCOIN GOVERNMENT?*

Let's just put it in a simple way Bitcoins is being harassed by the governments , the banks , the private sector , the bulls , the investors and it's just something that we cannot control.

What if we had a government for Bitcoins to support it , to legalize it like some normal currency , off course while keeping it's main points strong and not converting that into fiat.

What if it was accepted into the normal currency system?
I would like to say that I understand already that it's not just a currency , it's a store house of value , it's more than that, but integrating this currency 2.0,  Cheesy would not only increase it's stability but would also give the users rights.

And to do all this we need something like a Bitcoin government , which will support it ,legalize it , purse the lawsuits , give the users rights .

It will make Bitcoin something that every fiat worshipping government and off course banks and all , will more or so accept ( forcefully though) but let's face it ,it will be still better than the dictatorship in North Korea and no one says anything about it -_- why would this matter to them ? As long as we are not Harming others.

We just need a integrated environment because let's face it there are 111 out of 251 regions where Bitcoins is legal and to make it global everlasting integrated crypto currency , we do need all of these 251 regions to agree to this ( if not all then 90% the least )
sounds like a fairy tale but to make this into reality it will create a massive debate on every side of the earth
a certain group can do this or community maybe it may sound or look like a cult actually
Even if you try to form some kind of partisan government which has a focus primarily on Bitcoin, you'd need to have the ability to support your "country" economically and provide for the people within its borders, as well as being able to defend the country from external threats that may seek to destroy it. I can already say that the chances of there being a group within the Bitcoin community who is actually capable of this is slim.

It would look a lot more like a cult, and it would probably only be regarded as such. There's no-where that a "government" could be set up, realistically speaking.

Seeing how this so called government will handle the system, for sure if this will exist powerful nations will controlled everything around, they will not agree not to handle this as they have the resources to control and influenced anything around them, that's the real intentions of satoshi nakamoto, giving freedom to all of us in terms of free transactions without any interventions coming from any government bodies, bitcoin exist for 10 years now and still
proving its pwn identity.

No, we don't need one, because Bitcoin is decentralized and unregulated if we will establish one then it's not decentralized anymore, people will ask KYC and besides some goverment  are not against it, here in our country we have an exchanger that is fully supported by our central bank.

What you are hoping to achieve is somewhat unrealistic or let's say it has a very least chance that it will happen in the future.
Every country has different rules and different views especially in terms of cypto currency.

There is a very little chance that all the government will likely to legalize or accept crypto currency hundred percent.
If you think, bitcoin government will solve it all. The question is, who will manage it, is there an assurance that there is equality, no corruption and etc.

Bitcoin survives without banks before until today. But I am still open for new opportunities if ever there is one government who wishes to support bitcoin. It will be a great privilege to show how bitcoin will gonna change our lives. I will fully support bitcoin if we get a chance to be supported by the governments, most probably the banks.

Normally I don't support anarchism because I think most people by nature need a government or otherwise they turn the life around them to hell. But that is so regarding the life in general. We definitely don't need any government in such fields as filmmaking, painting, music, or basically any other kinds of art. We don't need government telling us what to eat or what not to eat, or what we should wear etc. And I think a free market that can regulate itself successfully without any government intrusion is not only possible, but it exists in this or that part of the world constantly through the whole history of humankind. And Bitcoin is just one of those things that can perfectly exist without any government.

I am not so sure about btc acceptance. Because, in the developing world, it is not difficult to have better than btc. And after the btc's acceptance, people will want to change their choices to better one. This is not what can be changed every minute.

It will be great if the government can support cryptocurrency and make it legal because people don't have to worry if they are breaking the law and they can use crypto in many things.
Don't you see anything wrong in how you like a slave wait for the government to approve crypto currencies before you can use it without having to worry about breaking the law? That sounds so wrong dude.

Why should I wait for government approval to use something completely innocent and useful? It makes no sense to me and will continue using it even if it ends up being banned globally.

Bitcoin is a people's currency at the end of the day and self regulation actually works. In Japan exchanges already have that power to some degree, and I am quite happy to see that the government there even stimulated it.

BSV delistings is also part of self regulation. Did anyone go to the SEC first? No. We don't need them. We can weed out scammers ourselves.

I really doubt they will legalize cryptocurrency without trying to control it.
I think it is much better we use Bitcoin the way it was meant to be used. It was meant to be used person-to-person or peer-to-peer, no  middlemen or central bank

peer to peer and that's it? then crypto will die soon or will be widely used by criminals so far.
we need it to be legalized and then it could be used much wider than it is now.

yes that is it . being peer to peer is the bitcoins/cryptos one primary feature and that makes them unique and extra special as when compare to other kinds of payment methods out there  . and did the crypto die ? no they dont  , cryptos such as bitcoin is still alive and kicking because it is too useful  though some criminals use it because of its anonimity but what about local curency and other payment methods , im sure that criminals also use them  . thats normal  .   i heard bitcoin is already being legalized by most countries today and this was also the reason why the use of bitcoin is now more wider than ever  .

Bitcoin government will be against decentralization since the government will take control of all of the things that are going on. Bitcoin doesn't need any government for itself to grow. Bitcoin is already strong and independent and the only thing that it needs is people who are willing to help and commit themselves into the community of bitcoin.
Exactly, what is needed by bitcoin is its users. when users, namely communities, have strength and solidity, bitcoin can grow much better. but keep in mind that the government also has an important role in directing bitcoin. when the government fully supports the circulation and use of bitcoin, it will make bitcoin more reliable and convincing.
