In many countries it is forbidden to use any other coin besides the state one. Therefore, it is necessary to cooperate with the government in order to be implemented.

I never heard about a bitcoin government before. Bitcoin is a cryptocurrency, it's a most valuable cryptocurrency & trusted also. If government create his own crypto then I think it's will be more popular but the question is if government create his own crypto then what's happen with others cryptocurrency? I don't think it's necessary to government create his own crypto in this time. It's maybe good thing if government create his own crypto in future.

Creating any structure to promote the use of cryptocurrency is absolutely not necessary. It will be a virtually useless structure without any authority. Anyway, any questions on the territory of specific states will need to be addressed through the appropriate authorities of these states. Moreover, it will be impossible to influence state bodies. Over time, the states themselves will establish not only the rules of cryptocurrency circulation on their territory, but also conclude international agreements regarding all issues of its circulation.

Legalizing bitcoin in government is not easy because there will be differences of opinion about bitcoin, but I don't care about that because the most important thing is I can still use bitcoin.
in my country it also does not legalize bitcoin but is allowed to use it without harming the government or other people, and I will use it well as long as it is not strictly prohibited.

Then how did Japan made bitcoin as legal currency to use in their country? We should experiment it as the product or scheme for some time. Then after test on passing bill and you can decide the marketplace acceptance or something.
You may know the panic things in USA, they don't want other currencies to replace the usages of USD.

The fact is that Bitcoin should still cooperate with the government. Because we still can not use Bitcoin without it.

Hello guys
 Roll Eyes
I just wanted to discuss - *DO WE NEED BITCOIN GOVERNMENT?*

Let's just put it in a simple way Bitcoins is being harassed by the governments , the banks , the private sector , the bulls , the investors and it's just something that we cannot control.

What if we had a government for Bitcoins to support it , to legalize it like some normal currency , off course while keeping it's main points strong and not converting that into fiat.

What if it was accepted into the normal currency system?
I would like to say that I understand already that it's not just a currency , it's a store house of value , it's more than that, but integrating this currency 2.0,  Cheesy would not only increase it's stability but would also give the users rights.

And to do all this we need something like a Bitcoin government , which will support it ,legalize it , purse the lawsuits , give the users rights .

It will make Bitcoin something that every fiat worshipping government and off course banks and all , will more or so accept ( forcefully though) but let's face it ,it will be still better than the dictatorship in North Korea and no one says anything about it -_- why would this matter to them ? As long as we are not Harming others.

We just need a integrated environment because let's face it there are 111 out of 251 regions where Bitcoins is legal and to make it global everlasting integrated crypto currency , we do need all of these 251 regions to agree to this ( if not all then 90% the least )

BITCOIN GOVERNMENT Huh Wow! How do you set it up? Do you need a President or Prime Minister to run your proposed government, and/or Senate or Congress in order to deliberate/pass laws about Bitcoin? Could you please clarify what you mean by the government here?

How can bitcoin have a government when bitcoin does not have any physical representation and have no boundary allocated to it, do you really know what a government is all about. Bitcoin already have an authority on it own which is being decentralized and not under the control of any body or institution.

Do you mean by coin made by government ?
They can do anything on it

But if the government want to control crypto, it will break decentralized paradigm and for me it's not want people want when they want to use crypto

We already have heard the news about states in some countries that they were accepting bitcoin for tax payments. In that case, they are eyeing for the adoption of crypto as a whole because there's a usecase that's being applied and it works for some. On the side of the gov't, they can convert it quickly to fiat if they wishes to do so and they don't want to keep it as a crypto. That's why there are some payment processors that allow this to happen.

I really doubt they will legalize cryptocurrency without trying to control it.
I think it is much better we use Bitcoin the way it was meant to be used. It was meant to be used person-to-person or peer-to-peer, no  middlemen or central bank

Having a bitcoin government is an impossible dream that will never come to reality, because bitcoin as a decentralized currency can not be control by any body or government and once that happened then bitcoin have lost it natural value which is being anonymous and decentralization which will then result into devastating market for the coin.

If you need a bitcoin government it means bitcoin for the people and then it should be centralized to govern it and who is going to control it? I guess Bitcoin is created to make people enjoy the financial freedom without thinking of obligations from the controlling government and since many governments around the world see its potential they want to regulate it and regulating it means to govern it.

Bitcoin was built on a decentralized platform while a government is centralized. A bitcoin government would contradict each other out. You cant put those two things together without changing some rules from both parties.
Exactly. I totally concur. This goes against everything cryptocurrencies stand for. Majority of the cryptocurrency supporters would be against this whole scenario for obvious reasons which is a why a Bitcoin government is a silly idea.

Decentralization all the freaking way!

I agree with this. Having a central organization that will govern over bitcoin is counter to the idea that bitcoin is promoting, which is decentralization. If we allow this, there is no difference between bitcoin and fiat. The government will just control Bitcoin technology.

unfortunately whenever a new system comes out such as bitcoin which is very different from all the old systems that people have been familiar with, they will have a hard time accepting that difference because it is change and humans have never liked change!
right now being decentralized and having no government seems odd to many people which is why they think it is needed, which is why they keep suggesting things like "bitcoin bank",...
in a couple of years this will be normal though.

Bitcoin and the government at this time do not have anything good relationship, even most governments prohibit the use of Bitcoin. That's because the government regards Bitcoin as a threat so the government is careful in making every decision. But I believe that someday the government can make a breakthrough so that it can make Bitcoin a financial commodity that is recognized in the country.

That Bitcoin government wouldn't exist for sure. Why? Consider on how he would faced up current centralized government worldwide? How can it be approved nor to operate as it should be
without violating any rules that do centralized government had?

Theres no point on creating one yet people do like crypto as it is and we can stand without the need of that Bitcoin government.

That's somehow true. One, if not, the main advantage of using cryptocurrencies is its decentralized characteristic, whereby no one power or entity controls it, which makes its available and open for everyone to transact and use wherever you are in the world. The freedom it gives to its users and the various ways one can use it in any department or type of investments gives its a big advantage as compared to other similar assets. Although its volatility may be a  disadvantage too it, which at times, drives people away from totally embracing it, many are still believers and would still want to invest and use it as a present and future investment.

I think for the long term, it is still very difficult for bitcoin to be recognized by every country because the country that considers bitcoin illegal, must have a view and its own foundation why it makes it illegal.
Now we just have to wait until the time changes everything
