Long ago, I had created a list of sportsbooks with presence on bitcointalk along with a few categories to help fellow bitcointalk members look through them and decide on which sportsbook to choose. That list has been outdated for a while and I think it could be improved upon. Want to put some more effort in and work on it, in the later half of this week and weekend. I'd like to recreate a list with up to date information. Please do contribute on what categories would you like to see to compare sportsbooks.
Here's the old list

OP, in as much as you are doing a good job and trying to update the list to current active sports book, I would strongly advise you personally look into the sport book and conduct due diligence on them because any of the sport book listed be wanting as a result of their previous or past activities, it would definitely mess the whole list you have listed which I believe you would not like to see.
For me, sports book with the following features I would want to see;

KYC free,
Active live support not bot support,
Live online game where you watch and see as you play,
Flexible terms and conditions,
Ability to make refund deposit of a player on request if player is denied of win and at will decides to withdraw back deposit.

Here's the old list

This list will be all-in one lost if you incorporate all the details that I will list below.
  • Loyalty/VIP Benefits
  • Minimum & Maximum Deposit/Withdrawal
  • Wagering Requirements on Deposit
  • KYC Requirements
  • Minimum & Maximum Bet
  • License Type
  • Restricted Country
  • Live Support Availability

The list I made are the typical details being inquired on a new casino/sportsbook. Your list will be a masterpiece if you can give all that details. Good luck!

All I am really looking for when choosing a place to place a wager is if they accept my country, KYC, have the markets I wish to bet on, have some sort of decent reputation, and if they have decent odds.

If any 1 of my needs are not there I will not bet on that sportsbook.

Okay, I have a question for you. Do you do KYC on the sportsbook? As far as I know, All licensed casinos ask for KYC. Or maybe I am wrong? Let's say a casino has a solid reputation and they are on the market for a long time. They accept your country and have the market you want. But, They need KYC to sign up. Would you choose them to play?

@vennali, I've checked your old list of sportsbooks. You have added freebitco.in as a sportsbook. I am not sure if they are a sportsbook. They have a casino named Dplay. But that's a different platform.

If you want to hear my opinion about what I prefer and like to know from your future list.
It's essential to know if the casino is licensed or not. So, Having a License Yes/No will be appreciated. Moreover, I would like to see what license they got. I want to know if they require you to do a KYC. KYC Yes/NO will also be a great addition to your list. I guess all sportsbooks have Live support these days. But, if any casino doesn't. Please mention them with a Yellow Star.

I would love exactly the same standards except that I would expect from a sport book to which I will be loyal to them if they offer me everything I need,a sort of ongoing and recurring bonus, kinda like weekly and monthly bonus.I would expect this as in times when I will be low on money like I found exactly myself in this moment, when Champions,Europa League games are on sight, the monthly bonus which can be a range from 10-70 dollars depending on the rank of the person will be enough to satisfy my needs.

Another critical point from the sportbook would be how much markets they offer and nowadays I must admit all the major ones offer all sort of betting options.

Just as others have said, when choosing sportsbook the first thing I check is if the sportsbook accepts my country or not.

Second is the amount of bonuses that they give users, I'm not saying that they should be giving out bonuses everytime but at least once in a while they should make bonuses available for users.

Minimum withdrawal amount and the fee they charge also play a role in me choosing a sportsbook, I like those with little or no minimum withdrawal amount because I don't want a scenario when I won't be able to withdraw from the sportsbook just because my balance is not up to the minimum withdrawal limit.

And lastly they should be reputable.

Based of my experience active in the gambling section (Sportbook vs Casino user), most of problem are getting on Sportbook user. There a lot reason sportsbook getting target with various reason.

Personally, I would suggest updating the existing list and removing any casinos that don't have an active presence in the Bitcointalk community. There's no point in promoting bookmakers that aren't active or don't have a representative here to address user questions and provide support when needed.
This makes sense. Since the existing list will be for members of this forum, it will be good to update the list in line with those that have a presence here.

it's good that the sportsbooks offer good bonuses and must be with a better condition.
I like bonuses, but that is not what I first consider because following bonuses can make one make a wrong decision about a casino or sportsbook to gamble on.

The site must not have any security flaws or too much bad reviews online.
The reviews must also sound genuine.

The deposit and withdrawal must be instant and the fees associated with them must be ridiculously low.
They must also have options for deposit and withdrawal.

In addition, they must have a good customer service team that have a good response time. It can be irritating to lay complaints and have to wait for days to get a response. Good customer service is important.

These are good criteria you have there, all are surely needed as conditions to accept a sportsbook even though more are still needed. Besides, you made mention of KYC which thrills me, many would say they would prefer the no-KYC option, and this always baffles me as to what kind of thinking has those people. With KYC, you are better of in terms of some regulations for better assurance because no regulated casino would dare to void KYC. Still, one has to do their research to be sure of this.

Aside from what you specified, and with my choice gauge, it's good that the sportsbooks offer good bonuses and must be with a better condition. The site must not have any security flaws or too much bad reviews online. The deposit and withdrawal must be instant and the fees associated with them must be ridiculously low.

That sounds like a great initiative. It's helpful to have an updated and comprehensive list of sportsbooks for the community. For Bitcointalk members? When only the gambling board is enough for us to know some trustworthy crypto gambling sites. I am not saying your work is not useful though, some people (which are not on Bitcointalk) can know your site which can help them if they are looking for trustworthy crypto gambling sites.
Maybe check the previous list and let me know, if a similar list would be useful or not. Thanks Smiley

Which category are you talking about? Can you give examples.
That was a general statement. I just wanted to know what people would like to see as categories in a list of sportsbook, to compare among them. You could check the categories that I have previously chosen in the url at the bottom of my OP, it will redirect you to my previous list. You'll get a better idea on what could potentially be categories for sportsbooks list
