Long ago, I had created a list of sportsbooks with presence on bitcointalk along with a few categories to help fellow bitcointalk members look through them and decide on which sportsbook to choose. That list has been outdated for a while and I think it could be improved upon. Want to put some more effort in and work on it, in the later half of this week and weekend. I think there's a lot of useful stuff that can be overlooked with bookmakers that could be useful to newcomers. Whether there are any blockers or delaying tactics at the withdrawal stage is important, because sites can often make it instantaneous to send money but then put small or big obstacles in the way when you want it out. Whether there are any thresholds for KYC, they might put this in their terms where if you have $500 in bets that they will decide to pull identity verification on you. How good their special promotions are - some make it really simple to convert a welcome offer into cash, but others like to do things like require you to bet 100x your reward before letting you cash out - often losing any bonus and more in the process.

Top Crypto Casino

So for me, category or not, I pretty much found my favorite Casino in stake.com
I agree with the fact that stake.com have built a good reputation and development that make them the top casino that we can bet on and most likely one of the favourite casinos among others here in the forum and as for KYC,  stake does not mandate their users to go through KYC verifications and this is a point we must commend stake for.

I have used my campaign payments to place bets on a couple of occasions and whenever I win I do f have any problems withdrawing them despite that my account is not verified.

Hire Bitcointalk Camp. Manager @ r7promotions.com
For me, since I discovered stake.com and found out they already have everything I need in a sportsbook, plus more, I decide to settle there..
First is that I've passed kyc verification with no much effort, and this proved that the casino supports my country.
I also can deposit and withdraw in crypto currencies which is another major factor in choosing a casino for me..
They have a pretty good reputation as we all can attest to, they are the casino with one of the highest partnerships in the industry..

So for me, category or not, I pretty much found my favorite Casino in stake.com

The things that I have heard about this casino are very good, they are one of the very reliable casinos and that is what they look for, and I could speak as well as you about the casino that I work in that is duelbits, because it adapts to my conditions, It is reliable, the KYC is something that is not a big problem, sometimes it can take a while, but it is sure that they verify it and there are no problems, unlike many casinos, dulebits has promotions that are not enough to benefit the casino They also think about the player and they have everything to be in the top 10, they have a good reputation in the forum and the acceptance by many is quite good.

Nec Recisa Recedit
- site reputation
- live game and of course exchange games (at least cashout option)
Without these condition I dont bet Wink

Other consideration
- fast withdrawal (and minimum amount)
- bonus or other advantage for regular gambler
- markets/odds (of course more markets and bigger odds are a drive in my decision)
- no kyc (Is a plus if they use crypto)

I checked your old thread, and i'd suggest replacing the first deposit bonus for VIP programs that most sportsbooks have. Aside from the minimum withdrawal and deposit, that's the next thing I always look for whenever I visit new sportsbooks because they count your bets towards a reward, and it's based on your wagers and losses. I support the KYC category that the others already mentioned, as that's one of the reasons why gamblers use crypto sportsbooks, but it's best to keep them simple so your table doesn't stretch far off the side.

I don't usually make deposits and play on newly released casinos due to them, obviously, not having any kind of reputation. What I am looking out is their reviews & reputation, professionalism, social media engagement, how they write (eg., their Terms of Service), bonuses, and withdrawal waiting time & process.

Besides, you made mention of KYC which thrills me, many would say they would prefer the no-KYC option, and this always baffles me as to what kind of thinking has those people. With KYC, you are better of in terms of some regulations for better assurance because no regulated casino would dare to void KYC. Still, one has to do their research to be sure of this.

Regulated casinos is safer to play at that's probably why some people likes to consider that first. However (most of us knows this already), licensed casinos doesn't mean that we won't be having any problems with their service; they could also turn to be fraud.

Community feedback matters a lot to me when choosing a sportsbook or casino(FIAT and Crypto). The next thing I look for is if they only enforce KYC under certain conditions and if they actually adhere to their T&C.

Betbuilder or same game accumulator is another feature that I look for in sportsbooks since I am a big fan of them.

A sportsbook's overall performance is greatly influenced by how the local community feels about the services it offers. It might ascertain a sportsbook's reputation and provide users with guidance on whether or not to trust them. Some of them would claim to be KYC-free but would ultimately request it, and through feedback, we'd get a sense of how the sportsbook operated.
For me, the reputation of the sportsbook is typically the first thing I consider. It makes a significant point because I would learn if it is worthwhile to entrust them with my funds through it. I want to be certain that they are offering fair play devoid of anomalies.

Would probably be feedbacks from their players. Usual problem in gambling sites not only in sportsbook, is delay on payments or transactions 'coz that would be the only interaction between players and the platform. Also, to how problems are being addressed by the platform whether they are putting time to resolve it as soon as possible or they would be silent about it and ignorant. There are many gambling sites existing up until this date. You may be attracted by bonuses and other promos but the best thing which would make a player stay is for sure the quality of service they would be getting from a platform. It is just how sportsbook works unlike with general gambling platforms.

responsive websites which contribute to its reputation, good and fast withdrawal processes, KYC, restrictions on my country being met and allow me to do so. I also sometimes consider transaction fees but other than that, the first four are my non-negotiables. It is black and white. If one is missing, I will let it pass and find another. That's a hard rule.
It is my find I am risking so I  must be responsible for finding one I can entrust my money to risk.

That is a pretty good list that you had created in the past, and it would obviously be helpful if another one is created with up-to-date data and information. This time around, you should go ahead and also add casinos that aren't available in the forum but are reputable and pretty famous among the community outside of this forum.

As a suggestion, I think people these days care a lot about KYC, so it might be good to add a column about KYC information if a casino asks for it or not or whatever their take on KYC is, another one would be customer support, a column defining how the customer support of a particular casino is would be of great help.

1. Security - getting paid is by far most important.

2. Working with the forum. This is a player's thread and books are held responsible for their actions. Questions are asked of books concerning number of employees, time in business, experience, poster problems, etc. If a book is going to ignore a player's thread, they will be severely downgraded. Most books are very easy to work with.

The following cannot be quantified as to importance since being highly detrimental in one category may supersede other criteria used.

3. Poster review - poster review is much more important at bitcointalk than other forums, but other forums are also read. A high review from a new book will weigh less than the review of a book that's been in existence 2+ years.

4. Anonymous - one of the reasons that bitcoin books are used is to stay anonymous. There may be times where it is necessary to question players but it should be a minimum.

6. Payout speed - If the average is longer than one hour, a book will be downgraded. One hour is sufficient due to possible grading errors. A large book is dealing with a significant amount of money along with a huge player base.

8. Traffic  - time in business along with amount of players that a book has gives us a large sample size.

These points you have listed I hold them high as they are amongst the basic criteria  one needs to look into before getting involved with any of the sports book.
Ability to pay out wins timely and with full effect determine how capable and reliable they are. Of lately, there have been complaints of delayed payment as a result of demand for KYC by some casinos because of the wind from the players which they termed suspicious and underaged just to cover up their lapses.

If a casino is always covering up or avoiding to answer questions as regards their existence, then you should know that there is something fishy about them and at such should be very much careful or better still,do away with them.

Another point as you have stated that needs to be properly looked into is the reviews. Players these days finds it very difficult to look into these areas as that would guide them through to Knowing more on the existence of the casino if they have good reputation since they started. Here one could be able to have an insight on how they treat their customers and also how responsive their customers Service works because gamblers review here would tell how they are treated.

If all these are properly looked into, I believe most of these issues and complaints about sports book would minimize because they would judged according to their actions.

Theres lot of sportsbook right now are showing up and for me as a gambler ill choose those sportsbooks has an odds booster this gives more potential winning to me because if the odds are sure game for your side, its ideal to boost this to make more profit, some people would like to have an odds which is sometimes unrealistic which most commonly seen only in the YOLO bets which means an underdog match possible to make a table turn games.  Another factor, of course, is to have a supported game and not only limited to soccer, football and basketball, but sports books must also need to keep e-sports too, like Dota, Csgo, and recently one of the trends is the Mobile legends or ML. Lastly, for me, they have an ANN thread here to make it easier to check if they have recent issues or problems before making a deposit and events.

Criteria used to rate a book.

1. Security - getting paid is by far most important.

2. Working with the forum. This is a player's thread and books are held responsible for their actions. 4. Anonymous - one of the reasons that bitcoin books are used is to stay anonymous. There may be times where it is necessary to question players but it should be a minimum.

5. Margins - If players are going to have a chance to beat a book the margins have to be tight enough to give us that chance. If the margins are larger than -110 (1.91) that's a big blow to a book's rating.

6. Payout speed - If the average is longer than one hour, a book will be downgraded. One hour is sufficient due to possible grading errors. A large book is dealing with a significant amount of money along with a huge player base.

7. Markets - The more betting options, the better.

8. Traffic  - time in business along with amount of players that a book has gives us a large sample size.

9. Currencies used - It's easier on the player if we are allowed to deposit and withdraw from alts.

Miscellaneous - Books accepting fiat currencies are omitted from the guide. Other forums are read to make sure the ratings here aren't significantly out of line with the average of other books.

First, it's the betting options, when there is a wide range of betting options to choose from.
I consider the odds and if the site is user-friendly. Bonuses and promoters; bonus and free bets first attract me, ongoing promotions.
I love live streaming and in-play betting.

All I am really looking for when choosing a place to place a wager is if they accept my country, KYC, have the markets I wish to bet on, have some sort of decent reputation, and if they have decent odds.

If any 1 of my needs are not there I will not bet on that sportsbook.

The list linked in the OP gave a lot of information about many different sportsbooks and it is great in order to make an informed decision; but this line with your needs when you look for a place to wager is minimal and still contains the most important thing to know in just one sentence.

Specially that they accept your country (the info about VPN is important too) and the KYC rules that they will follow if you win big. The other points are obvious, but don't forget about the first ones because they can make a huge difference and become a big win into a big lose.

Do we need to go far when we can easily achieve having more than enough from the casinos present on the forum here, this is what we eeded to do by just making a thorough search in some of them ad decided on one or two that are of reputable standards and use than the oes we aren't used to.

I'd like to recreate a list with up to date information. Please do contribute on what categories would you like to see to compare sportsbooks.

You can go ahead with your research as well in giving a list but know the reputation of the ones you will be enlisting because this aspect matters alot to gamblers as no one will want to receive a bad recommendation or wuch that may turn to scam later by it developers.

I'll start with the casino that is at the top of your thread:

Cloudbet

despite being an old casino, in their thread the OP is no longer active since January 09, 2023 and their behavior is very unpleasant, I've seen many complaints about them, you can see this very sad and pitiful post:

https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.62166917

as the complainant recounted, it took him 1 year waiting for his problem to be resolved and just when he thought his nightmare was finally over was when he got more heartbreak from Cloudbet support, and a story that makes anyone angry about Cloudbet, and how the Cloudbet has not yet appeared to deny what this complainant said so we have to believe that the complainant is telling the truth for now, something shocking, but the complaints against this casino do not stop here, we can see more complaints here:

https://www.trustpilot.com/review/www.cloudbet.com

I would recommend that you do not put Cloudbet at the top and in case you put them on the list they deserve to be at the bottom with a high risk warning

tru.bet

it disappeared

Maverick Games

they have new ann thread

https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/maverick-games-btc-usdt-sportsbook-casino-poker-licensed-regulated-5435912

buff.bet

casino scam, hope you remove them from the list

betbtc.co

BetBTC is closed!

https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.57697292

Acedbets.io

the casino does not work and there were scam accusations

https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.60204468

Fairlay.com

there were scam accusations

https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.60591650

the casino does not work

Coinbet24.com

it's weird that it's an old casino and there's nothing about it on the internet

best casino to be in the top:

1 - Stake.com
2 - Sportsbet.io

Lightning network is good with small amount of BTC
That sounds like a great initiative. It's helpful to have an updated and comprehensive list of sportsbooks for the community. Personally, I would suggest updating the existing list and removing any casinos that don't have an active presence in the Bitcointalk community. There's no point in promoting bookmakers that aren't active or don't have a representative here to address user questions and provide support when needed.
If you check the lists, you will noticed that there are some gambling sites that are not on this forum there too. Some gambling sites may not be on this forum again but still be a good gambling site. Personally I can not use a gambling site that is not active on this forum, but the creteria that the OP is using is different, he is using how excellent the services given by the gambling sites to their customers. There may be some gambling sites that are not on this forum but having good services too.
